We recently had our wedding at Holmewood Hall and could not be happier! From our first visit we could see that the venue was absolutely stunning, but we were delighted to find that the staff are so friendly and accommodating too. Our wedding coordinator Giulia was an absolute star. Nothing was too much trouble and she went over and above to help us make the day exactly as we wanted, offering suggestions when we wanted them on how we could make different ideas work on our budget.
One of the reasons we chose Holmewood Hall is that we knew it would be a brilliant setting whatever the weather threw at us on the day, and with the weather we getting in the UK these days that was certainly a good choice. Rain showers in the run up to the day meant the ground was too wet to have the ceremony outside, but I am actually glad for it as the Gold Room is stunning and the large mirror at the front means I could see all our guests who’d been arriving whilst I was getting ready. We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous sunny afternoon for canapes and games of croquet on the lawn. We had so many compliments from our guests on the venue, with people saying how exciting it was to have lots of different rooms each with a different vibe and how seamlessly the day moved from one activity to another. Anyone who is involved in events knows that this only happens when there is a brilliant, experienced team behind the scenes making it happen.
The packages the venue offer mean we were able to offer our guests much more than if we had found a venue and done things ourselves (and with much less stress!) Being able to stay onsite meant there was no hassle about getting to a hotel at the end and was convenient as our boys and their cousins were with us. A tiny niggle was that I couldn't get hot water for my shower int he mronig, but I imagine that was because people in all 18 rooms were trying to do that at 5minutes before breakfast was served. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. As was the food served at the wedding breakfast on the day (more compliments from the guests here.)
In short, we loved it and would highly recommend.

We had our wedding here on 17-12-24 and it was everything we dreamed of and more. The food, staff, decor were just perfect not forgetting the most beautiful Christmas tree 😍
Our person wedding planner Lee was an absolute god send not just having him there on the day but always being at the end of a phone to answer any questions or worry’s.

Perfect venue for a wedding with guest numbers 60 - 100. Our guests and I moved from each room to a new room throughout the day and every room had a new surprise. The bridal suite was lush and it was great having all our guests staying under one roof. I would 100% recommend this to anyone.

The wedding day and lead up to the day were fab. However, for the price we paid, we expected a little bit more.
I opted to use the bridal cottage the evening before for which we paid £450 extra. This is something I now regret, as there was no hot water and we were not able to order any food in as all the take away options were shut (on a Friday night). The hot tub also needed a good clean. So the night before/morning of my wedding was not ideal. I flagged this to the manager who advised that we should have raised the cold water issue as soon as possible, but seeing as we were trying to have morning showers on the wedding day, this did not leave us any time.
Our package included pre-drinks, wine with dinner and we also purchased a cocktail "cart" (cocktails on a table) and a bucket of beers. The groom, who is not a wine fan, asked for a beer with his wedding meal and was presented with a contactless card machine to pay for it at the top table. We felt this was a bit unnecessary as there was a full bucket of extra beers outside and it felt a little embarrassing having a card machine presented to us at the top table on our wedding day for one measly Corona, despite the huge amount we had paid. Also, guests were unknowingly allowed to buy beers from the bar after the meal, despite there being available beers to them already in a bucket next to the bar...
Overall the wedding was lovely, but for the price we paid we expected a bit better. Essentially, I loved the venue, but I wish we had not purchased any extras!

We got married at Holmewood Hall on 4th October 2024. From the first moment we stepped into the venue and I saw the magnificent Gold room I knew this would be the perfect place for us to get married. We had the most amazing day which was perfectly coordinated by the whole team at Holmewood but especially so by our personal wedding manager Lee. Lee was always quick to respond to any questions we had in the lead up to the day and nothing was too much trouble for him.
We honestly wish we could do it all over again as it was a magical day. We would recommend Holmewood Hall to anyone looking for the perfect venue.

After getting engaged in late March this year we wanted to get married fairly quickly so booked Holmewood for the same September. The venue, grounds, accomodation were all stunning and we felt very fortunate it was within budget and the package we got was outstanding in comparison to other venues and what it included, which was far far more than other venues. We got to attend a luxe event to choose all our wedding food, canapés, cocktails and wines which should have made things easier but due to the unbelievable quality it made it harder! Our wedding planner Lee is literally the most fantastic person. He was flexible, fun, engaged and on absolutely everything. The day was ran impeccably and also smooth even with some weather concerns and speeches taking a bit longe than we thought. If you book here ask for Lee!! We had the most perfect day. Can’t fault a single things. Our guests all told us how incredible everything was with one even saying he will now longer not attend any further weddings unless it’s at Holmewood. Thank you to all the staff and as mentioned a huge special thank you to Lee! Your a legend!

Holmewood Hall was an absolute dream for us 😍 we knew we wanted somewhere with exclusive use and it was a bonus that we could stay onsite the night before (cottage for 6 people) and the night of (20 rooms) the wedding. Giulia was our personal wedding planner and she was amazing, I felt completely supported in the run up to the wedding and all the staff on the day we're attentative and professional. It was our dream wedding and I know it wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for the wonderful team at Holmewood Hall!

We'd firstly like to highlight and thank the amazing team at Holmewood Hall, specifically our Wedding Planner, Lee and the Venue Sales Manager, Katie.

Upon our initial viewing of the venue in 2023, we were instantly impressed by the venue itself and the warm welcome we received from Katie when showing us around. We had previously viewed other venues but from first walking into Holmewood Hall, we knew that this venue was perfect for us. Katie explained how our day would run from start to finish and all of the special touches we could include.

During the planning for our big day Lee was especially helpful in answering all of our questions and making everything so simple.

On the day of our wedding, everything went so smoothly thanks to Lee, with so many of our guests commenting on how professional and helpful the entire team at Holmewood were, especially Michaela, who ensured that all guests, including those with dietary requirements were tended to.

We were extremely happy with all of our suppliers, some of which were suggested through Holmewood's recommended suppliers list.

Our photographer, Adrian Dewey and videographer, Josh Hyde were amazing, making the whole day run so smoothly and including all of our guests; ensuring that all of our specific photo and video ideas were captured.

Katrina Kelly (hair), Jess - Sharpe Faces (make up), Debbie - Allensis (stylist), Michaella - House of Blooms (flowers) and Ambers Bakes and Cakes were all amazing and we'd highly recommend them all.

To make the most of the Great Hall we opted to hire a band for our evening reception. The Watchtowers were incredible, with all of our guests commenting on how amazing they were! With them learning our song for the first dance it made it that much more special. Ollie, Ryan and Jamie were all great guys and we'd highly recommend them!

Overall, we couldn't recommend Holmewood Hall more to anyone thinking of planning their wedding there! It is also definitely worth including the rooms, as they are all so spectacular, especially the Bridal Suite! We had seen one or two reviews with people commenting on the fact there were limited amenities in the rooms, such as TV's, however with everyone there to enjoy the event, no one even considered this an issue. Having all of our closest family & friends there with us the next day to continue the celebrations over breakfast was a lovely touch.

My partner and I had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding at Holmewood Hall in August 2024, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The venue is truly stunning, offering elegance and charm in every corner. We got married here on Friday (16th) and had such a wonderful day. The team led by Lee were excellent and so attentive. Each guest was well taken care of and we were supported and looked after exceptionally all day. We cannot recommend Holmewood hall enough to anyone considering getting married there or for parties etc. Such a lovely venue, team and day.

Holmewood Hall were outstanding, the venue is beautiful and everything runs like clockwork, the staff are prepared, relaxed and know what to do. They were extremely accommodating. A particular special thanks to Lee who was seemingly working for 24 hours straight on the day of the wedding, and always available, incredible.
