The historic building has been renovated to incorporate contemporary features, giving the property an ambience of both modern luxury and traditional architecture. The original timber bar is an eye-catching centrepiece to the 170-cover site, and with its large windows is flooded with natural sunlight. Other charming features include Marble Victorian fireplaces, wooden floors, and refurbished furniture for an antique feel.

We instantly fell in love with the pub itself on our first visit and knew it was exactly the look and vibe we were going for.
Light, airy, spacious, with modern twists and a feeling of an old, authentic London pub all rolled up into one, this place really is quite unique and a rare find amoungst over priced, generic looking wedding venues.
The JG team are nothing short of marvelous! From our first meeting, Jon and the team made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and really listened to our ideas and offered really helpful suggestions about the little things we hadn't thought of.
As a result, our guests were absolutely blown away by the standard of the food and the service throughout the duration of the day. There was no queing for drinks, or plates not cleared away promptly, and all the staff were super helpful and friendly.
We felt like with their help, we were able to create a day that really represented us, with lot's of little touches that made the day really special and unique.
The Perfect Pub Wedding
On the day, the venue looked better than I imagined, and you could see how much care had gone into the setup. The food was incredible and our guests are still talking about it now. The service on the day is second to none as they have the nicest bar staff and waiters.
In conclusion, from the beginning, it was completely stress-free working with The Jolly Gardeners and it is a perfect wedding venue.

Best pub in London
All the food was delicious, the team on the day were so helpful and friendly, the pub looked beautiful and everything went incredibly smoothly. Because the Jolly Gardeners is a local independent pub, Jon was able to recommend great local suppliers too, including for flowers and the band (Pocket Jukebox) who often play at the pub on Sundays, and were a real highlight of our day.
Honestly we can’t say enough how brilliant everything was and how grateful we are to the whole team for all the hard work they put in to make everything so special. It’s the perfect venue for your London wedding.
