Facilities and Capacity
Small, intimate weddings or large weddings are catered for, and special deals for private, exclusive-use weddings are available. We only host one wedding per day, so you're guaranteed our full attention.
Owston Hall Hotel is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and alcohol service. Ceremonies take place in the beautiful, first-floor De Lacey suite or in the larger ground-floor Marlborough Suite. Receptions for large weddings are held in the Marlborough with its large Georgian windows and wooden floor that doubles as a brilliant dance floor. This room is close to the kitchens for delicious, hot wedding breakfast service. Small wedding receptions can be hosted in our private dining rooms or the restaurant overlooking the golf course.

Overnight Accommodation
Owston Hall Hotel boasts 32 bedrooms located in the original house – the Heritage wing, which is recently refurbished – and the modern Executive Whitelock wing. All rooms are ensuite and there is a lift to the 2nd floor. Choose from suites, twin rooms, double rooms, family rooms, dog-friendly rooms and accessible rooms. We also have Owston Barn, which was refurbished to an exceptional standard in October 2025. Located just a two-minute walk from the Hall, Owston Barn offers the perfect blend of modern comfort and timeless charm. This stunning three-bedroom private residence sits in the picturesque village of Owston, Doncaster.

Super helpful
Whilst booking the rooms, they showed us which function rooms were available, even shown us the hotel rooms, so we know the appropriate rooms for our guests.
On the day of the wedding, everything went according to plan, our wedding planner Kate Sullivan had done more than expected. The manager Mark Ilsley was the same, made sure everything went accordingly.
By the morning, everybody from the hotel congratulated us, including the housekeepers. We couldn't have asked for a better and memorable wedding day.
