We had an elopement wedding at the Ro hotel and it was the perfect venue for what we wanted. The staff were all great, it was exactly the relaxed, chilled atmosphere that we were going for. Rochelle, who is the wedding coordinator there was always on hand over email leading up to the big day and during the day itself she was around to make sure it all went smoothly. The room we had was gorgeous, as was the food and the scenery was even better. Highly recommend for an elopement wedding or even just for a visit. Thanks everyone!

We had our wedding at Broadoaks Country House, and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. They truly couldn’t have done enough for us! A HUGE shout-out to Taz, Sian, Mikey and Lewis — you made our day so personal, so seamless, and so completely perfect. Every detail was handled with such care and genuine warmth. The food was incredible, the décor was stunning, and the staff were exceptional throughout. We honestly couldn’t have wished for anything more. It was the most amazing wedding and truly the best day of our lives. Thank you, Broadoaks, for giving us a day we will cherish forever. 💛

Our daughter's wedding was absolutely incredible. We made a weekend of it and all of our guests absolutely enjoyed every moment, incredible venue, the very conscientious staff that everybody thought were brilliant, the hotel rooms and all the very tasty food. Nobody could have beaten this venue and everybody commented on the professionalism of all staff across areas from housekeeping, restaurant, bar and wedding staff. Our daughter turned things on their head as she and her husband to be wanted things a little different, lots of white flowers, different entrances, tattooist, pianist, painter, lego, Dior, the band, the singer, nothing was too much trouble and everything went without a hitch. Rachael and Lee and the rest of the bridal party would happily do it all over again, thank you so much to Laura, Lauren, Bob, Michael and all of the staff at The Abbey House Hotel. We are now looking for our next excuse to hold a huge weekend party. We will all be back and staying.

We recently got married here and Kayleigh and the staff were so lovely , scenery was stunning for pictures and set up ran super smooth. Food was delicious but drinks were a little pricey We would recommend this beautiful venue for your Wedidng , rooms were clean and beautiful, small updates needed in some but still recommended

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a better venue than The newly refurbished Grange Hotel for our wedding. From our first visit, it felt elegant and romantic but still relaxed and modern — exactly what we wanted as a young couple. The refurbishment has been done beautifully. The interiors feel fresh and stylish while keeping all the character of the building, and the views over Morecambe Bay are absolutely stunning. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how gorgeous the venue was. The wedding team were incredible from start to finish. They were friendly, organised, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Everything ran smoothly, which meant we could relax and fully enjoy the day without any stress. The food was amazing — easily some of the best wedding food we’ve had — and the service throughout the day and evening was spot on. Having the hotel rooms on-site was a huge bonus too, especially after a long day of celebrating. The bridal suite was amazing, standard rooms were beautiful and so comfortable, and guests loved being able to stay over and enjoy the spa facilities. Overall, The Grange Hotel gave us the perfect mix of romance, fun, and elegance. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough to any couple looking for a stunning venue with an amazing team behind it.

We had our wedding at Dalston hall on the 14th February and everything was amazing. From the second we booked it yazmin our wedding coordinator kept in constant contact. She genuinely made me feel like I was her only priority, even though I'm sure some of my questions and requests were totally brideziller 🙈. The day went off with out any problems at all and the food was absolutely unbelievable. The rooms were so beautiful and comfortable. Even the followi f day the staff were so lovely and helpful. I'm am so gutted it's all over but so happy we choose Dalston hall.

Quite simply our wedding day at Linthwaite was perfect! We and all of our guests had the most amazing weekend which went without a hitch and that is completely down to the professionalism and hard work of the entire Linthwaite team. Every one of our guests have commented on how beautiful the hotel is and what great service they received. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and they did everything they could to ensure that every one of the guests had a comfortable stay. We chose Linthwaite as our wedding venue having visited a number of hotels in the Lakes and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Down to the smallest details, everything throughout the whole weekend was spot on. From the day we booked we had just 12 weeks to plan the big weekend and Sarah was fantastic during this entire process. She put in so much hard work to ensure that every detail was covered which was, without a doubt, one of the main reasons that the weekend felt so effortless for us. The venue, staff, food, service and of course the views made Linthwaite and our wedding such a special memorable day. We only wish we could do it all over again!

We had our wedding here in June 2024 and it was just perfect. All the way from our first meeting with them up until the day, they were so helpful and friendly, always replying to messages quickly and doing anything they could to help (including silly things like "can you send me a photo of your dining chairs please?" Or, "What are the width and height of your tables, I've last minute decided to go for table-runners!") So many of the guests commented how friendly and welcoming the staff were, and how lovely and private and scenic the hotel was. I can't recommend them enough, your wedding will be great if you go with them.

We had our wedding in this fabulous place on NYE 2025. It is a beautiful old traditional building in the most wonderful lake side location. The wedding coordinators Hannah and Mathilda looked after us with so much care and attention, before, during and after our wedding. We had a number of visits and meetings before hand and nothing was too much trouble for them. We attended an Open Day where we got to look at every room in the hotel. This assured us all our guests were getting a quality room to stay in. The bridal suite is exceptional, the four poster bed, comfy arm chairs, lots of space for the wedding morning hair and makeup. Plus the views of the lake and fells from two side of the room were amazing. The food is impressive and delicious, starting with the pre wedding night Italian buffet, we booked for all our guests. Then the wedding day canapés, main meal and evening hot buffet were all served with precision. All our guests booked told us how much they’d enjoyed the food, which was indeed superb. I was very nervous and anxious in the lead up to our wedding but on our arrival at venue, we were met with a hug from Stacey the Hotel Manager and Hannah and Mathilda. That meant so much, after that we felt totally welcome and at home. We relaxed from that moment and had the most perfect four days there. Stacey runs a wonderful hotel, where every member of the Cragwood team was friendly and helpful to us and all our guests.

Emma and I attended a wedding open day at Castle Green and from the second we walked in we knew it was for us. Amazing scenery for our garden wedding really topped the day off and the venue staff were all brilliant throughout the booking and planning stages to the special day!
