Our daughter's wedding was absolutely incredible. We made a weekend of it and all of our guests absolutely enjoyed every moment, incredible venue, the very conscientious staff that everybody thought were brilliant, the hotel rooms and all the very tasty food. Nobody could have beaten this venue and everybody commented on the professionalism of all staff across areas from housekeeping, restaurant, bar and wedding staff. Our daughter turned things on their head as she and her husband to be wanted things a little different, lots of white flowers, different entrances, tattooist, pianist, painter, lego, Dior, the band, the singer, nothing was too much trouble and everything went without a hitch. Rachael and Lee and the rest of the bridal party would happily do it all over again, thank you so much to Laura, Lauren, Bob, Michael and all of the staff at The Abbey House Hotel. We are now looking for our next excuse to hold a huge weekend party. We will all be back and staying.

We had the all inclusive wedding package and it was faultless. Our wedding went better than we had planned an expected. The beauty of the all inclusive is being able to have everything catered for BUT still being able to inject your own personality into it if you so wished. We did put our spin on things and added our own touches, and all was just taken care of by the wonderful staff, nothing was ever too much trouble. We had exclusivity from the Friday morning until Sunday morning, all our guests arrived on the Friday with a full buffet in the evening and bar open until late, a great way for friends and family to get to know each other before our big day! The following morning there was a hot buffet breakfast for all and our guests were able to spend the morning as they wished before being able to have a more relaxed ‘getting ready’ Our 2 wedding planners, Sarah and Kate, were amazing from start to finish and took the stress out of the day for us and made our whole day flow smoothly with not one hiccup. A special shout out to Dan as well, you kept us both hydrated throughout the day. 🥂 The food was amazing and all our guests complimented on how lovely and tasty the food was, beautiful presentation and just enough, although so pleased that the sticky toffee pudding was huge piece! The bedrooms are all elegantly decorated with super comfy beds. Another hot buffet breakfast for everyone before heading home, a great set up for the long journey home to Cambridgeshire. If you are looking for a stunning, cosy, friendly, intimate and a home from home type of venue for your wedding then don’t hesitate to book The Briery Wood! You will not be disappointed on any aspect, you will be made to feel like royalty! Thankyou to EVERY member of staff who made our day so special, we can not thankyou enough and we will be back to see you all again soon ❤️

The wedding team here are superb . Nothing was too much trouble and they go above and beyond to help make your day perfect. . It is value for money and set in the most beautiful place the staff are very professional .

The Dunes is just the most perfect wedding venue. The location is absolutely stunning, my pictures are out of this world. The staff are fantastic and cannot do enough for you. Charlotte and Robbie made sure our wedding day was planned to perfection. The decorations were great and we were looked after before, during and after! Highly recommend x

We had the most incredible experience at the Netherwood Hotel for our wedding. The venue itself is absolutely stunning — all of our guests commented on how gorgeous and beautifully kept it was, with a touch of classic elegance that made the whole day feel extra special. It’s undeniably posh, but the atmosphere throughout was always warm, friendly, and down-to-earth — the perfect blend. What truly sets the Netherwood apart, though, is the staff and their dedication. They genuinely went above and beyond for us. When we couldn’t find a caterer for our Peruvian fiesta the night before the wedding, the hotel stepped in without hesitation. Although their chef was English and had never even been to Peru, the Peruvian feast they created for us was nothing short of spectacular. We hadn’t expected much — but we were blown away. Even our Peruvian guests were amazed by how authentic and delicious it all was. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant the world to us. Nothing was too much trouble for the Netherwood team. Everything ran so smoothly and with such grace that we were able to relax and just enjoy the whole experience. Our wedding planner was a total star — she made what can often be a stressful process feel effortless and genuinely fun. We’ll be coming back for years to come, as the Netherwood now holds such a special place in our hearts. We couldn’t recommend it more highly — it was perfect in every way.

We had our wedding here in June 2024 and it was just perfect. All the way from our first meeting with them up until the day, they were so helpful and friendly, always replying to messages quickly and doing anything they could to help (including silly things like "can you send me a photo of your dining chairs please?" Or, "What are the width and height of your tables, I've last minute decided to go for table-runners!") So many of the guests commented how friendly and welcoming the staff were, and how lovely and private and scenic the hotel was. I can't recommend them enough, your wedding will be great if you go with them.

It's been 2 months since our wedding and I've received so many compliments about the reception, with it's stunning scenery, and the delicious food. Many happy memories were made here. Absolutely fantastic venue, caters to different sized groups and the room can be adjusted to comfortably hold up to 200 guests (we had around 160 guests). Great choice of meals. I felt it was incredible value for money for the quality of food, the location and the support we received. The hotel provided expert assistance in planning our special day and were very accommodating with everything we wanted. We had canapes on the lawn followed but a hot and cold buffet and desserts. There was so much food everyone had seconds, and the hotel were very accommodating with different dietary requirements. My one regret... I do wish I took the hotels advice and had evening snacks too, that would have been a nice finish. It was a great atmosphere throughout the day no doubt helped by the luxuriousness of the place, excellent service and the friendliness of the staff. I've been to several weddings in the area, and, although I must be biased as this was my own wedding, but this was the best venue by far in so many ways. It was a lovely place to get ready in too, and so ideal for guests to stay and chat at breakfast the next day. A very popular wedding and events venue for good reason.

The staff at the Crown Hotel were soo good for my friends wedding last week! From start to finish, all the details were absolutely perfect. Watching my best friend walk down the aisle, I couldn't have been happier if it was my own big day. The food was superb and staff excellent along with it, Alison and her team were amazing. Will definitely be coming back!!

We had our wedding at Storrs Hall on 26th March 2024, from the get go the team were so amazing, going out of there way and doing little things to make us excited for our big day, we even received a Christmas card the year before from the team! When we arrived we were able to get in to our room right away and they were so happy to have us, talking to us about the details of the day and getting everything organised. We had a meal with our guests the night before at the Bistro and the food was incredible! Service amazing and everything just hit the whole event off with so much positivity! The day of the wedding everyone was so organised and it really was like they were hosting a family members wedding, after the wedding and we returned to our room we even had a card and small gift from the staff as a congratulations. We can’t wait to return to Storrs Hall for anniversary’s just to be a part of that little family again ❤️

We recently tied the knot at Lindeth Howe in October, and I have to say, if you’re considering getting married here – JUST DO IT! From the very beginning, Claire and Liz have been absolutely amazing!! taking care of all the wedding details and making the planning process completely stress free for us. We chose the 'elegant and intimate' wedding package, which was just right for our close family. It included everything we needed, from our stay and ceremony room, to the wedding meal, toasting drinks, buffet, and even our stunning wedding cake! On the big day, Claire was a complete superstar! Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she made sure everything ran smoothly without us having to worry about a single thing. Everything was just perfect! I only wish we could turn back the clock and relive our special day all over again! We are so grateful for all the hard work the staff put in for us; they truly went above and beyond to make everything perfect down to the small details. 

Lindeth Howe is one of our favourite places and We can't wait to visit again!
