Kerri, Jonathan and team, Thank you so much for coordinating our wedding at Inn on the Lake - it was a truly magical day!   We greatly appreciated your professionalism and attention to detail from start to finish.    We had so much positive feedback from guests on how slick everything was, how attentive and friendly all the staff were, and how beautifully presented the hotel was. All guests had the most incredible experience! We couldn’t recommend the Inn on the Lake and its staff highly enough!

When we walked in to the venue we had 2 immediate thoughts... 'this is it' and 'we can't afford this'! We were incredibly surprised when discussing prices with the wedding coordinator team when we realised it was within our fairly modest budget. We couldn't recommend this venue highly enough - the location (just 2 minutes walk through the 'secret garden' to the closest church), the staff, the accomodation, the food, the pool & spa, all the stuff that gets included when other places charge you! The wedding coordinators made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire planning process, giving us enough time in meetings to discuss our plans, without putting any pressure on if we hadn't got all the details finalised. We ordererd the standard number of drinks and we were a little nervous that there wouldn't be enough but the general comments was there was plenty! We had the BBQ the night before which was unbelievable, and the canapes, wedding breakfast, evening meal and breakfast were also amazing - couldn't fault it! We had Jenny as our main wedding organiser who was great, she was there throughout our entire day and made sure it all ran smoothly, even being patiently flexible when speeches ran WAY over with food arrangements! Would highly recommend for couples looking for a stunning, rustic, yet affordable venue in the most beautfiul location and part of the country!

I can’t recommend Long Acre Barn but more importantly Janet, Jonny, Sally, Emma and the whole Addison family and wider team enough! Even before we went to see the venue we had seen it on social media and knew we would like to have our wedding there, and when we spoke to Janet and looked round we knew it was the venue for us! Janet is so calm and organised and relaxed which is everything we wanted for our wedding. She’s great at communicating, was available for video call as and emails whenever we needed, and she always one step ahead of the planning which is great when there’s so much to organise. We went to visit multiple times, could drop things off even from the Wednesday before the Saturday and she made us feel so at home. The house that comes with LAB was absolutely incredible - we stayed the night before and the night of the wedding and we felt at home. The interiors are incredible and it does just feel like you’re at home which contributed so much to having a relaxed run-up to the wedding. On the day itself, Janet and the team were just perfect. They made contact with suppliers which meant we didn’t have to worry about this and took control of everything meaning we could just enjoy the day. From being chauffeured from one side of the yard to the other with umbrellas with Elizabeth and Jonny and then on the other side to the orchard along with the rest of the guests, to them being so accommodating to every guest and making sure they were always topped up with a drink (very important!), they were all the absolute dream team and I wish we could do it all over again and I’m very jealous of anyone about to start the process! We even used Emma’s Acre Kitchen for afternoon tea for our Thursday registry office wedding and she dropped all the food off before we returned home which was all perfectly presented and the food was delicious. I couldn’t recommend LAB enough and just a huge thank you! It made such a special time even better and I am recommending to anyone and everyone, as well as all of our amazing suppliers. 🪩🥂💕

Holesfoot is beyond beautiful. If you’re on the fence, visit Liv & the team here and your decision will be made with no regrets to be had for your venue wedding. Holesfoot has everything you need and more. Liv is attentive and the place has a way of feeling instantly like a home from home. We had the most perfect 4 days celebrating our wedding here and already can’t wait to find excuses to return and make more memories. Nothing is too much trouble and the DIY nature of the venue truly allows you to be as creative and relaxed as you wish. Our guests are all still talking about how perfect the venue was and said it’s the best and most relaxed wedding they’ve ever experienced. A truly special place to get married in a beautiful part of the world.

The first time we met Jen, the wedding coordinator, we just knew we had to have our special day in the beautiful Little Martindale. The room is breathtaking and just perfect for out intimate wedding of 28 people. The food is out of this world, everybody thoroughly enjoyed it, and there was so much of it! My daughter is Vegan, and the chef made sure she was fully catered for, having her own unique meal, which was beautiful. Every member of staff went above and beyond for us, and made us feel very special The room I got ready in was huge and again, the staff were amazing in accomodating us. Unfortunately Jen was on holiday for our wedding, but Amy took over and was fabulous! Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was such a fab calming influence. I would highly recommend getting married here.

Michelle and the staff at Leeming house were amazing, so attentive and did everything we asked for. I couldn't have asked for better. When covid hit we had to find a new date (this happened 4 times) eveytime she made sure she contacted us when thing had changed. Nothing was ever too much for ask for, and questions were always answered super fast. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, or a better venue. Finally we got to get married on the 22nd May 2021. You guys took care of every detail and we loved every second of our special day. Our wedding was magical I would definitely recommend the Macdonald Leeming house, 10/10. Jade and Sam McKenna

I don't even know where to start. We live in the Lake District with so many nice hotels but Roundthorn really stood out to us. The flexibility of building your own package, the venue itself, the views and the people are just incredible. We had our perfect day at the end of November and the venue lit up with lights is breathtaking. Anouska and the rest of the Roundthorn team are exceptional and I don't think we could have been looked after better or we could have asked for anything more. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone commented on how amazing the food was and how spacious their rooms were 100/10.
