Couples that choose Low Wood Bay to celebrate their special day are assigned a dedicated Wedding Coordinator. The professional uses their expertise from beginning to end, helping you choose between colour schemes, menus, entertainment and much more. They will be your guide from taking your first step down the aisle to taking your very last dance. The venue offers a competative package that includes LED love letters, a Bridal Suite and a wedding cake alongwith an extensive high-end choice menu to offer your wedding guests. On the day, your Wedding Coordaintor and team will make sure everything runs smoothly so you can relax and enjoy the festivities of the day! Guests receive special accommodation rates for all room types and there is no minimum or maximum amount of bedrooms you are required to book with us!

Can’t think of better venue

As soon as we viewed the Low Wood, we knew it was the one! So much so we only actually looked round there and didn’t bother looking anywhere else! The location is stunning, and all the staff really just want the best for you. The wedding team is gold standard quality, they could not have been more helpful and their response time was almost immediate, if not the very next day. Nothing was too much trouble for them to organise, I also felt that they were genuinely excited for my wedding which was lovely. On the day it ran SO smooth, I barely had to think of anything. The food was delicious, no complaints at all. Overall the low wood is a beautiful venue and holds such a special place in our hearts.

Absolutely outstanding from start to finish.

Fantastic wedding weekend at low wood bay. The wedding team are amazing and make sure you have a day to remember. We couldn’t have had a better day if we tried a million times it was truly perfect.
Thank you to everyone at low wood bay for the brilliant food, service and running of the whole thing. The best!

A Dream Wedding

From start to finish, the service from Lucy and her team was exceptional. Every email was answered promptly, no question was ever a problem, and they guided us through every step of the planning process with ease. They truly think of everything and remain so calm and in control, making the entire experience stress-free.

Our wedding day was nothing short of magical. Lucy and her team took charge, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment without having to worry about a thing. The venue itself was stunning—so many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was just perfect. It’s the ideal blend of modern and traditional, set in an incredible location.

I wish I could do it all over again! I wouldn’t change a single thing about how Low Wood Bay helped us create the most incredible day.

Stunning venue, incredible wedding team and wonderful cocktail cruise!

We couldn’t recommend Low Wood Bay as a wedding venue more! The wedding team are beyond incredible, we can’t think of anything they said no to, they made every idea of ours a reality and made the whole process as stress free as could possibly be, thinking of all the little details we hadn’t or weren’t sure about. The venue itself is stunning with incredible views. Although not technically ‘exclusive’ the drinks reception lawn and Lakes Suites used for the ceremony, meal and evening are so private with separate bar and toilets that you felt like it was exclusive anyway, but with the ease of our friends and family being able to extend their stay before and after the wedding for a mini break which was especially nice for those travelling a long way or visiting the Lakes for the first time. The food is absolutely incredible with loads of choice, at restaurant quality it didn’t seem mass produced at all. The absolute highlight for us was being able to add a boat cruise from the hotels jetty, we added a saxophone player and cocktails and it was many of our guests favourite part of the day, and something very different! We thought the price was incredibly good compared to other venues we’d looked at, priced per head with a very minimal additional fee for room hire for the ceremony only. It also included extras including flowers, cake and a nights stay with champagne which made a huge difference too. We’re so excited to come back for our anniversary and have a special place we can continue to return to!

Beautiful day!

Would highly recommend low wood bay for a wedding venue! Lucy and the team were fantastic & made our day run smoothly, nothing was ever a problem. Our guests loved the food and the service was brilliant. The venue has stunning views for photos. Can’t fault it one bit

Masters of their craft

Wedding July

I had the best time having my wedding here. Would 1000% recommend. They did everything they could and helped out so much. The day would not of gone by so smoothly without the team. What they charge is definitely worth it. Food was amazing. Everyone had nothing negative to say. Best day ever and I would get married here

Low Wood Resort & Spa

From enquiring to hosting our Wedding Day, we feel the Low Wood wedding team were brilliant and would highly recommend people to book their wedding at the Low Wood. We really loved the venue, it was actually the only one we visited prior to booking. The only flaw I could find was booking hotel rooms for the wedding party, because it was a little mixed messages from Wedding Team and Hotel Booking team. However, the Wedding Team sorted for us and were brilliant in dealing with all our requests in the build up and allowing slight alterations to their standard package/menu. Overall, we found the team really helpful and easy to deal with which made the build up to our wedding very relaxed.

Amazing day!

From day one of just going to look round, to our wedding day, Low Wood have been amazing!

The wedding team have always been very responsive & no question was daft enough for them! They couldn’t be anymore helpful if they tried!

On the big day, they set everything up perfectly & we’re always on hand for anything we may have needed. If anything had gone wrong, then we didn’t know about it, everything was so seamless.

The location is absolutely stunning & the spa is definitely worth a visit!

100% would recommend & thank you once again to the wedding team! ❤️

Amazing venue & amazing team

We had such an amazing experience with Low Wood Bay. The wedding team are so lovely and extensive and made our day very special. The team were happy to have several meetings with us to help us feel calm and prepared. Communication was strong and the team helped by recommending local vendors they have worked with previously. Our guests all loved the food and the service was outstanding. The team also co-ordinated with our parents to help them surprise us with singing waiters on our big day. The venue is in a beautiful location allowing you to easily get those must have shots by the lake. Definitely recommend!

We had our wedding at Low Wood in June 2023. The venue was perfect, all of our guests expressed how amazing the venue was including the food and service throughout the day it was just perfection. I had full faith in Lucy and the rest of the wedding team and was able to leave them to sort aspects of the day with not worrying myself. The day couldn’t have been anymore perfect and that’s all down to low wood bay.

Amazing from the first meeting!

If you are considering booking your wedding at Low Wood, my advice is to dive right in!
From looking round the venue as a general enquiry, they could not do enough!
We had to delay our wedding due to the dreaded covid but everything just moved so seamlessly!
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and it was definitely down to the precision of the whole wedding coordination team.
Due to us living a bit of a drive away, we dealt a lot with Rachel and the team by email, they answered so efficiently and went above and beyond to ensure all queries were dealt with.
I’m actually gutted our wedding is over now as we won’t be in such regular contact!
We cannot thank Rachel and the team enough for such an amazing time and all of our guests regularly tell us just how amazing the day was.
Please can we do it all again?!

Fantastic experience from start to finish

The wedding team at Low Wood Bay made the whole experience a very easy and pleasurable experience.
They were quick to reply to email queries and answered any questions we had promptly.
On the day the team were AMAZING nothing was too much trouble and they were with us all the way.
Low Wood is a beautiful venue in lovely surroundings, the whole hotel is geared towards making sure you have a day to remember. I cannot recommend this venue enough.
