My partner and I were lucky enough to get married at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal at the beginning of April 2026, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From the very beginning, every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our wedding as special as possible. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating throughout the entire process. The venue itself was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the attention to detail was outstanding. Thanks to the amazing team, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment, knowing everything was in safe hands. We are so grateful to everyone at the Castle Green Hotel for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime. We would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel as a wedding venue to anyone looking for exceptional service and a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you all for making our dream wedding a reality!

We got married at The Villa Levens on 14/12/18 and it was an amazing day from start to finish. The staff couldn't do enough for us, from the night manager who worked so hard the night before to make sure everything was perfect...to our wedding planner Imogen who was so organised and professional and made sure the day ran so smoothly. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much hassle and I enjoyed the day so much knowing I had nothing to worry about. The guests all commented on how beautiful the food was. And the grounds and building itself had such a warm and welcoming feel. I am so glad we chose The Villa Levens for our special day and we would highly recommend for anyone thinking of getting married here!

If you are looking for a fantastic, unique, home from home wedding venue then you have come to the right place. We got married here on the 13/06 and it honestly was so special. The whole thing ran really smoothly from start to finish. We had a festival style wedding with food vans, live music and dancing. Each and every guest I spoke to on the day and since have all said how fantastic it was and how good a time they had too. The owners went above and beyond for us and nothing was too much trouble. Forever grateful for finding this absolute gem of a venue and just so sad it’s over! The friendly animals on site make the place feel really homely and romantic, chickens, alpacas, chickens, pigs (who enjoy a good scratch!) and even doves flying around. The option to camp on site also was brilliant as it helped keep costs down for the guests too! Thank you so much Harry, Matt & Family, and we will be back for a visit very soon ❤️
