From the moment we viewed Fairbank we knew it was the venue for us! Fairbank really speaks for itself and the flexibility to DIY and choose your own suppliers according to your needs and vision is super. You can’t predict the weather in the Lakes but Fairbank is well prepared having multiple stunning indoor and outdoor spaces all for your exclusive use. In the months running up to the day we attended an open day for booked couples where we could measure up spaces, show family & friends (you could even bring your wedding planner if you had one) and sit in on an extensive Q&A. Our wedding was in May 2024 on a beautifully sunny weekend - we held our wedding in the ceremony barn followed by confetti, drinks, canapés, games and photos on the lawn. Our wedding breakfast and evening party was in the reception barn with guests free to relax in the gardens whilst we snuck off to the tarn for some epic couple’s photos. The farmhouse was the perfect base to relax in the run-up and post event; we booked an extra night so we had more time to spend with family. The rooms are clean and tidy, the kitchen well equipped (the extra fridge was welcome as it safely stored our wedding cake) and the bridal suite is pure luxury! Owner and wedding coordinator extraordinaire Clare is amazing! She really put us at ease, was friendly, down-to-Earth, attentive and worked tirelessly behind the scenes with her team and our chosen suppliers to ensure our day ran smoothly. We got married at The Villa Levens on 14/12/18 and it was an amazing day from start to finish. The staff couldn't do enough for us, from the night manager who worked so hard the night before to make sure everything was perfect...to our wedding planner Imogen who was so organised and professional and made sure the day ran so smoothly. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much hassle and I enjoyed the day so much knowing I had nothing to worry about. The guests all commented on how beautiful the food was. And the grounds and building itself had such a warm and welcoming feel. I am so glad we chose The Villa Levens for our special day and we would highly recommend for anyone thinking of getting married here!

On Saturday 9th April, my husband and I used Carus Green for our wedding breakfast and evening reception. We had 110 guests to the day do and 170 to the evening. As far as we're concerned, we couldn't have picked a better venue. Stunning views, beautiful food, 5* accommodation for all our family and the perfect setting for our photographs (we were lucky with the weather!!) Nicola, the events coordinator went above and beyond to make sure our day was all we'd hoped! I'm abit of a control freak and I have every faith in Nicola and she made sure everything went to plan. Thank you! Emma and Lisa in the office made sure our stay in the beautiful accommodation was perfect. The bedrooms were decorated to high standards and the communal areas in the townhouses were perfect for us to host our family on the Sunday after the wedding. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect day and we have the staff at Carus Green to thank for that. All our guests agreed and commented on what a cracking venue we had chosen!
