One of the nicest things about a wedding is being surrounded by your family and friends. If you have a wedding venue with accommodation, it means your guests can stay over with you, you can keep the party going late into the night and you can all enjoy breakfast together the next day.

1. Hayne House – Kent
Flooded with natural light, the Orangery at Hayne House is one of the most beautiful venues to marry in the South East. This eco-friendly, former hunting pavilion of Edward VIII is set right on the doorstep of their country garden; in summer, fling the doors wide open and you’ll feel like you’re eating your reception meal among the beautiful grounds.
After a day to remember with all your loved ones, you’ll no doubt want to spend some time alone together taking it all in. The newlyweds can spend the night in Hayne House’s complimentary bridal suite, and there are a further five bedrooms within the lodge, with another one being added in 2020. At Froggies, the estate’s B&B just 300 metres down the road, there’s an additional five bedrooms so plenty of guests can stay over.
2. Swinton Estate – North Yorkshire
Those that want a dreamy woodland wedding venue that has accommodation for all your guests, make sure you consider Swinton Estate. Set within 20,000 acres of grounds on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, the estate has a range of locations to tie the knot, including the the grand Swinton Park castle hotel. Each of the 32 bedrooms are individually designed and boasts stunning antique decor and beautiful views of the grounds. Plus, there’s a spa on-site for guests to use.
There’s also the Lake House – a Georgian-style summerhouse on the private Lake Island, which you can hire exclusively – and the recently-renovated, rustic Deer House. If you’re looking for a different kind of accommodation, Swinton Bivouac allows you to have an outdoor wedding among Druid’s Woodland and then sleep under the stars in their meadow yurts, tree lodges and bunkbarn.
3. Tre-ysgawen Hall Hotel – Isle of Anglesey
This four star country house in the heart of Anglesey offers a complimentary stay in the bridal suite for couples who book their wedding there. It also provide a special reduced rate for guests who wish to stay over too, so everyone can make the most of the lovely surroundings at Tre-ysgawen Hall Hotel!
There are four elegant Georgian suites to host your day in and an outdoor pavilion if a garden wedding is more your style. The house is filled with stylish period features, portraits, chandeliers and antique furniture. Your guests can lounge in the library, explore the woodland sculpture garden or relax in the spa, if they stay over. What better way to end the night than a fireworks display followed by a cosy bed?
4. The Gallivant – East Sussex
Are you looking for a seaside wedding venue with accommodation? The Gallivant could be perfect for you. By booking your wedding there you get exclusive use of the venue, including the 20 bedrooms on site. You can also host your drinks reception on the sand dunes, perfect for outdoorsy couples!
The property is styled to feel like a New England beach house and the whole day plays into that seaside theme. A three-course, locally-sourced, gourmet wedding feast is served in their beach hut marquee and then you retire to their chic and cosy home-from-home bedrooms.
5. Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa – Surrey
Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa is a Neo-Gothic masterpiece, set among the Surrey Downs. The 19th century mansion house is unique in its architecture, as well as a treasure trove of fine paintings, artwork and ornate detailing inside. The hotel has 15 feature bedrooms and the romantic Byron Suite which is found in their tower and spread over three floors – it makes an incredible bridal suite!
The nearest station is just 30 minutes by train from London and the hotel is easily accessible from the M25 which makes it great for guests who are travelling. They can stay overnight, breakfast in their Cloisters 2 AA Rosette restaurant for breakfast and check out the spa before heading home.
6. Highgate House – Northamptonshire
If you have a huge wedding party, Highgate House could be the one for you. There are 97 individually decorated bedrooms, including the impressive bridal suite, so if you want to make a real weekend of it with your loved ones, there’s plenty of space!
Highgate House is a beautiful 17th century country house, set in the charming village of Creaton. It can host up to 220 for an evening reception, with grand weddings in the traditional Baronial Hall and Drawing Room, or more contemporary nuptials in the chic, newly-renovated reception rooms. Their Head Chef can cook up a bespoke menu for you and your guests as well as whipping up a delicious celebration breakfast the next morning.
7. St Audries Park – Somerset
St Audries Park is perfect for couples looking for a wedding venue with a chapel. There are 41 luxurious bedrooms reserved exclusively for you and your wedding party, which are available the night before and after your wedding. A group dinner the night before your wedding is a great way to kick-start celebrations and breakfast the day after will kick the hangover!
The house itself is set within a 100 acre deer park with stunning views down to the sea. The Georgian orangery is a beautiful location to say your vows and, with exclusive use of the whole house, you can host up to 250 guests for an evening reception. if you’re after a church wedding, the picturesque St Etheldreda’s Church is a perfect location.
8. Egypt Mill Hotel – Gloucestershire
This 16th century water mill is an unusual wedding venue that will suit couples who want a fun, relaxed feel to their wedding day. There are 32 en-suite bedrooms available at Egypt Mill Hotel at special rates to your wedding guests, and a complimentary bridal suite for you to enjoy.
The Egypt Mill Hotel sits on the edge of the river in the historic market town of Nailsworth and is a truly picture-perfect setting for your wedding day. With a water garden and immaculate private lawns, it’s the ideal place for al fresco summer drinks, followed by partying late into the night.
9. Ham Yard Hotel – London
If you’re looking for an unusual London wedding venue, consider Ham Yard Hotel. Located in the heart of Soho, Ham Yard Hotel boasts an impressive 91 individually designed bedrooms by Kit Kemp, and an eclectic décor that would suit a fun, edgy couple. There’s a range of unique event spaces, including their own 1950s-style bowling alley.
The hotel is set around a tree-filled courtyard and boasts an amazing rooftop garden so there’s plenty of spots to snap your photos. Inside you can use one of their function spaces to host weddings from 24 to 300. There’s a state-of-the-art screening room that’s ideal for speeches, a fab dancefloor and more.
10. Fawsley Hall Hotel – Northamptonshire
Fawsley Hall is steeped in history. Choose the historic Tudor Great Hall for your reception drinks, Victorian Salvin Suite for your ceremony, and Capability Brown-designed grounds for wedding photos. Outside you can marry in the Georgian portico or Great Hall courtyard. There really is a huge amount of choice at Fawsley Hall, all of which is imbued with the romance of a country house wedding.
Exclusive use of the entire hall includes all 60 bedrooms, and the separate Knightley Court, which has its own function rooms, eight bedrooms, private bar and lawns. The main house can host up to 150 guests, but if you want something bigger, hire a marquee with space for 440.
11. Holbeck Ghyll Country House Hotel – Cumbria
Looking for a romantic wedding venue in the breathtaking Lake District? Holbeck Ghyll Country House Hotel is a traditional yet stylish Arts and Crafts manor with luxurious accommodation available within the grounds. There’s 22 bedrooms and if you choose the exclusive use option you’ll have access to all the rooms, grounds and gardens.
You’ll enter through their oak-panelled entrance hall, complete with a fireplace, for a cosy vibe in winter. A summer wedding is equally as beautiful, with manicured lawns offering views down to Lake Windermere. 12. Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa – North Yorkshire
Outdoorsy couples, this one is for you. The Devonshire Arms is set within nearly 30,000 acres of breathtaking natural beauty – one of the perks of having a venue in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It’s part of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire’s Bolton Abbey Estate and this hotel is bursting with country house charm.
You can marry within the hotel or in the garden marquee so it’s ideal for all-season weddings. There are 40 luxury bedrooms available and two three-bedroom cottages so having your guests stay won’t be a problem either. Indulge in the spa facilities before and after the big day to make for the most relaxed wedding day ever.
13. The Woodlands – Leicestershire
Couples planning a rustic wedding will love The Woodlands in Leicestershire. It’s a purpose-built wooden venue with floor to ceiling glass doors, wooded grounds and a fire pit area that’s great to add a fun festival feel to your day. Inside are three large, light ceremony rooms that can host any kind of day you dream of.
Put your guests up in the lodges and snugs which are located just a stone’s throw from the venue – perfect for staggering back to. As newlyweds, you’ll be staying in The Treehouse, an amazing luxury treehouse honeymoon suite.
14. Peckforton Castle – Cheshire
By choosing a castle wedding venue you’re guaranteed to amaze your guests. Peckforton Castle in Cheshire is the only intact medieval-style castle in the country and a favourite with celebrity weddings, so it definitely has the seal of approval. Peckforton has five unique function rooms to choose from and 48 beautifully designed bedrooms for you and your guests – each one of them with its own individual style.
On top of the amazing accommodation and reception areas, the castle boasts a tranquillity spa and a 3 AA Rosette restaurant that will whip up a bespoke menu for your big day. You can choose to hire the castle for exclusive use or individual function rooms depending on your budget. Either way, your guests will have an unforgettable experience.
15. Northbrook Park – Surrey
Northbrook Park is a picturesque 18th century manor that’s ideal for couples who want a classic country house wedding. Your guests will love to explore the grounds and walled gardens, which are freely roamed by the house’s majestic peacocks. Marry in the beautiful Orangery and enchanting Vine Room, overlooking their 120 acres.
Your guests can stay at the neighbouring Northbrook Park Mews, consisting of 10 eco-friendly, on-site, self-catering cottages. Each comes with three double bedrooms and can host up to 80 guests in total. Your guests can book by the room or the cottage so you don’t need to worry if you have individual friends rather than big groups.
16. Bailbrook House Hotel – Somerset
This 18th century hotel is located just outside of historic Bath. Following a £10 million refurbishment, it now has 94 bedrooms to host your overnight guests and also features an award-winning restaurant and beautiful grounds. Food is one of the biggest draws here (as well as the beds, obviously). To Bailbrook, your wedding breakfast is “best dinner party you’ll ever have” and everything from the food to the music will set the scene for a fabulous day.
The Brunel Suite can seat up to 130 for a wedding breakfast and your reception can take place in another suite which has its own bar, lounge and dance floor. The house’s striking original features make for a wonderful wedding day backdrop.
17. The Haymarket Hotel – London
Located in the theatre district in London, The Haymarket Hotel is a stylish venue, perfect for a chic city wedding. As well as the great location and stunning interiors, the venue also provides the unique opportunity for a magical poolside ceremony. The chic pool area can accommodate up to 220 guests but for something more intimate we love the shooting gallery which has striking 5 metre high ceilings and space for 90 guests.
The hotel has 50 luxury bedrooms which have all been individually designed by Kit Kemp – the perfect place for you and your guests to relax and unwind before and after the wedding. You’re just around the corner from the National Gallery and Trafalgar Square, so ideal for sightseeing guests.
18. De Vere Wokefield Estate – Berkshire
A sweeping driveway takes you up to Mansion House at Wokefield Estate. Set in 250 acres of Berkshire’s finest parkland, this elegant manor is impressive on the outside and welcoming and homely inside. It can hold civil ceremonies for up to 200 guests, but marquees are available for bigger weddings too. Want a smaller day? Choose your favourite function space and they can cater for numbers as small as 60 with the same care and attention.
De Vere Wokefield Estate has a pool, tennis court, golf course, mini gym and high ropes course so there’s plenty to entertain guests for a whole weekend. The newlyweds will get a complimentary stay in the bridal suite, while guests can stay in rooms at Mansion House, Wokefield Place or the nearby Wellington Lodge.
19. The Glasshouse at ANRAN – Devon
ANRAN has been voted the best luxury boutique accommodation in the area on TripAdvisor so it’s no surprise that if you choose this as a wedding venue, the bedrooms aren’t going to let you down! The Glasshouse is a unique venue bursting with exotic plants that can host up to 200 people. It’s part of an estate that includes a country manor house, 17th century barns (including a former cowshed turned dance floor) and a lake besides which you can have a dusk ceremony complete with twinkling candles.
The manor house sleeps 16 across eight beautiful bedrooms, each with an Italian marble clad en-suite, and has its own private pool. There are also barn suites meaning ANRAN can host a total of 30 guests across the estate. This accommodation is pure luxury!
20. Donington Park Farmhouse – Leicestershire
Donington Park Farmhouse was built in 1576 and has been hosting weddings since 1984 so it’s probably the first barn wedding venue in the country! Found in the rolling Derbyshire countryside, you can choose between the magnificent Threshing Barn and the smaller, just as pretty, Hitching Room for your ceremony. Both have plenty of character and are blank canvases to dress up to your theme.
There are 19 lovely rustic bedrooms on site which are available for your guests at a discounted rate. You are allowed to play music until 1am so if you’re after a party vibe, this is the place to choose. Combined with delicious catering options, this is a great barn wedding venue with accommodation.
