Plas Dinam is so much more than a wedding venue—it almost feels like an injustice to call it that. It’s a place we’ll treasure forever. Choosing Plas Dinam for your wedding means choosing a team that genuinely takes the time to get to know you. In return, you feel like part of the place, even part of the family (cringe to say—but honestly, it’s true!). It’s an honour to feel a connection to such a breathtakingly beautiful space, in every sense.
I had the absolute pleasure of getting to know Lou and Katie over our two years of planning. Both are incredibly warm, organised, and generous with their time—nothing ever felt like too much to ask. They were always there when we needed them, but also gave us the space and trust to plan the day our own way. There were no rigid rules—just support—allowing us to create a celebration that felt truly ‘us.’ I’m so grateful for that freedom and care.
Plas Dinam strikes the perfect balance: they offer a brilliant list of trusted, lovely suppliers, but also give you the flexibility to bring in your own ideas and personal touches.
We were lucky with the weather and had our ceremony outdoors, which was magical—but even if it hadn’t worked out that way, there was a solid, clear plan in place, which gave us total peace of mind.
Being able to stay the night before and set up the day ahead was such a gift. It meant we could relax and fully soak up the wedding day itself, knowing everything was taken care of.
Our guests were absolutely blown away by the venue, and I honestly can’t thank the amazing Plas Dinam team enough. It was the most unforgettable experience—and it’s all thanks to them.

We recently had our wedding weekend celebration at Plas Dinam Country House and it was everything we had imagined it would be and more!

The house and the grounds are all so beautiful. The house is the perfect space to entertain and relax with guests (we had 35 staying in the hisuebwirh us and a further 10 in the loft and the lodge for 2 nights and there was ample space). The space felt like a home away from home, so calm and relaxing with so many different rooms to chose from. All of our guests were blown away by the house and its grounds. Lots of our guests (those brave enough in October!) also got to enjoy the wild swimming lake which was an added bonus. The rooms are very generous in size, with comfortable beds and amazing views.

Plas Dinam is the perfect venue to host a wedding as it has so many different spaces to hold your ceremony and drinks reception. As we were getting married in October, we chose the Great Hall for our ceremony location and it was perfect and felt so intimate even with 96 people in the room! We then had our wedding reception down in The Stables which was stunning. You are free to style and decorate the room as you wish which makes each wedding feel so unique. We also loved that the dance floor was off to the side of the main stables and ample space for a photobooth without having to move any of the tables.

We really cannot recommend Plas Dinam enough and would like to say a huge thank you to Lou, Eldrydd, Tyson and the rest of the Plas Dinam staff for making our weekend so special.

TLDR: when we first saw Plas Dinam, we read a review that said something like “if you’re reading this: stop looking at other venues and just book Plas Dinam, you won’t find better!”. We dismissed this advice until it became obvious that it was - quite simply – the truth.

Plas Dinam was, by chance, the very first venue we came across when researching our wedding. We did not realise quite how special it was until it slowly dawned on us as we catalogued another hundred or so venues, none of which came anywhere close!

We were fortunate to find a weekend gap in their almost fully booked calendar – in August 2025 – that all of our close family and friends could make. Although this gave us only three months to plan and prepare, from our first conversation with Katie, Plas Dinam’s unflappable wedding coordinator, we were in excellent hands.

All of the people we worked with at Plas Dinam and beyond – from the dedicated suppliers to the landlady of the local pub (The Lion Inn) – were really and truly lovely: patient, helpful, generous and fun. The planning process could have been daunting and stressful – there’s a huge amount to think about and organise for a multiday wedding – but it was a genuine pleasure.

The actual wedding was like a dream (a really good one!). The house and grounds are as magnificent as they look in the photos, but also cosy and homely - like a huge sleepover with all your best friends. The house team quietly kept the wedding running smoothly, around which we – and our guests – had so much freedom to do the things that felt meaningful and fun for us.

People cautioned us, from their own experience, that our wedding would pass in a flash, but to us it felt like time had been paused. From our over-excited arrival on the Friday, to our bleary-eyed departure on the Monday, lifetimes had passed in which all of the people we know and love had somehow become one big group of friends. I think that is the magic of Plas Dinam. If you have the chance to experience it, do so!

Plas Dinam was an incredible venue for our summer wedding in August. We had high expectations leading into the weekend and it exceeded anything we ever imagined. I think we used every inch of the grounds across the 3 days we were on site with a welcome BBQ under the stretch tent, wedding ceremony in the woodlands, speeches under the trees, reception in the stables, and farewell lunch on the side lawns.

Our guests absolutely loved staying on site, and the house, glamping tents and everything the grounds had to offer were impeccable. Eldrydd, Tyson, Katie and all the Plas Dinam staff really made the day feel magical and run smoothly. If you're looking for a beautiful yet relaxed environment for a wedding or family weekend away, we could not recommend Plas Dinam enough! There is so much the property and grounds offer to truly make the weekend your own, which we love. Thank you so much!

P.S. Make your own pizzas using the pizza oven and the fire pit on the night of the wedding were real big hits! Highly recommend adding these on to your weekend. Plas Dinam also have a lovely list of suppliers who we loved working with to bring our wedding dreams to life.

Let’s start with: WOW! From our first viewing, to our extended wedding weekend, Plas felt like a second home. The house itself is stunning, with SO much space for guests to relax, explore and have fun. We arrived on Thursday and hosted some intimate drinks in the lounge. On Friday our guests enjoyed swimming in the lake, followed by a yoga class, and then a pizza party in the evening - all unforgettable memories!

Our wedding day on the Saturday was absolutely magical and couldn’t have been done without the help of the brilliant Lou! Our ceremony had to be moved last minute due to some light rain, but it was no problem at all for the team, and in the end we loved that we were able to use the stretch tent, which felt lovely and intimate even with our 150 guests! In the afternoon and evening we had the most amazing time at the stables, with a delicious wedding breakfast by Wild Garlic, and a band and DJ in the evening.

We hosted a second event on the Sunday and got to enjoy more of the grounds with our guests, take in the amaxing views and make use of the BBQ. We even had an ice cream cart up at the house for everyone to enjoy!

We can’t recommend Plas enough, and all of our guests still can’t stop talking about our day! We hope to be able to return to this special place in the future - the best weekend ever!

We recently had our wedding weekend celebration at Plas Dinam Country House, from Friday 18 - Monday 21 July and it completely exceeded our expectations.

There really are no words to describe how special this place is. The house is beautiful, extremely spacious (we had 33 guests staying for 3 nights and there was plenty of space) and thoughtfully designed. The space feels calming and peaceful, and not dated or pretentious. All of our guests were blown away by the house and it's grounds. The views, gardens and connection to nature is wonderful and it's also sustainably managed, which was also important to us. We also got to enjoy the wild swimming lake which was an added bonus. The rooms are very generous in size, with comfortable beds, amazing views, robes and towels etc and the bathrooms all had great facilities.

For weddings Plas Dinam is perfect as it has lots of different spaces for ceremonies, as well as drinks receptions. We were lucky to have good weather and held our ceremony in the woodland which was magical. However we really liked the Great Hall, should we have needed an indoor option. Then having the back lawn with it's views for drinks was another surprise for our guests. We held our wedding meal and party in the Stables which had a really unique, spacious and charming atmosphere - the glass roof with fairy lights looks incredible once the sun goes down! Also having the dancefloor as part of the building was perfect as it meant we didn't have to move our guests out to clear any tables/chairs.

The team at Plas Dinam are lovely and were a big draw when considering which wedding venue to book. The fact that the house is family owned and has been kept for generations, makes this venue feel genuine and not just another wedding factory. Louise our wedding coordinator was fantastic, relaxed and friendly but completely on top of everything and spent lots of time replying to our emails, whatsapp messages and calls to talk through and consider every detail.

We were also extremely impressed by the suppliers who were recommended by Plas Dinam. Luna Bloom, a recommended florist and Tallulah & Co for catering were both exceptional and we got countless comments from guests about how beautiful the flowers were and how good the food was! Also having no corkage and party end time of 12:30AM was a real plus compared to other venues we looked at.

Having Plas Dinam over the full weekend meant we also got to host a relaxed BBQ for house guests on Friday. It was wonderful to have full access to the house, and get to treat it like your own holiday home - as our guests were able to meet and relax before the big day. Also on Sunday we hired a local caterer to provide lunch for our wedding guests, under the large stretch tent which came in very handy when we had some rain.

Overall it was better than we ever could have hoped for and could not recommend Plas Dinam enough!

We were always warned that wedding days go by really quickly and you don't get the chance to catch up with everyone properly. With plas dinam, we rented the place for 3 nights and filled it with all our family and close friends. The days leading up to wedding consisted of slow walks, board games, lake swimming and everyone chatting around the kitchen with cups of tea. It was almost as magical as the day itself, which went seamlessly with the help of lou. She was so calm and experienced- we really felt in good hands. Overall, I think it's the best wedding venue I've ever been to (although there may be some bias..). Bonus points for onsite glamping for guest convenience, no corkage, excellent vendor list and flexible catering. 10/10. Jenny and simon x

I really struggle to explain just how special this place is - Plas Dinam has everything you could want if you are looking for a rural, flexible, welcoming and beautiful venue. Book in for as many nights as you can and plan pre BBQs or day two activities alongside your wedding day here - you will not regret it. The team are unbelievably quick to respond and nothing is too much trouble. Jennie co-ordinated our wedding weekend and she was on hand whenever we needed her. The location is absolutely stunning and although we didn't need them in the end, the wet weather options for your ceremony are perfect too. The house itself is luxurious and grand whilst also being homely - there is a real opportunity to make this venue your home for the weekend and plan whatever kind of celebrations you wish to have. The grounds are stunning for photographs, the stables are such a unique place to enjoy your wedding breakfast and there is even a wild swimming spot to blow away the cobwebs! The kitchen became a real hub in the mornings for our group to just be together, making brekkie and having a coffee - you can have all age groups in together and feel like you you get quality time with your guests. I cannot stress enough how stunningly beautiful the whole place is and also how wonderful the team is - just book it - it is perfect x

We were very lucky to have our wedding at Plas Dinam in Spring 2024 and have our wedding party stay there for the weekend. We couldn't have wished for a more beautiful (yet relaxed) venue. We were originally drawn to the area because of the incredible views of the Welsh hills, but the home itself was so full of beautiful character details and fun features such as the billiards room, which we loved. There was plenty of room to accommodate our weekend and day guests, with lovely characterful bedrooms across two levels and spacious bathrooms, a well-equipped family kitchen, and two large reception rooms with stunning views. We chose to have an outdoor ceremony in April and had zero regrets - Plas Dinam and its grounds provided an incredible backdrop and it was great to have so many options (thanks to Eldrydd, Tyson, Lou, and their team for their flexibility and support!). The glass-roofed Stables was a special place to host our wedding breakfast and live music, and we opted to have a fire pit outside, which created a cosy evening atmosphere.
What a place! Needless to say, we (and many of our guests!) would love to come back in future!

Wow! The beautiful house and grounds of Plas Dinam were the perfect setting for our wedding.
We wanted a venue where our family and friends could have a staycation in a remarkable location and witness our wedding in between - well Plas Dinam was just that!

With the added bonus of choice for your ceremony and reception, our set-up wasn’t restricted by the weather. Incredibly we had idyllic weather during our three day take over of PD – making use of the garden games on the front lawns, ceremony on the back lawn under the blazing sun – cooling off with canapes under the stretch tent and feasted the evening away in the Stables.

The house felt very homely and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and socialise, whilst the Stables are so rustic and unique. It was great to have two separate spaces, so the older family could retire to the house whenever they wanted.

We only booked our date 7 months prior and the PD Team could not have been more flexible and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they were always on hand.
On the day our wedding co-ordinator Katie was calm and considerate, allowing us both to relax.

These guys know it all - I don’t think you can get any better than Plas Dinam!

Plas Dinam staff were supportive and professional. Could not have asked for more. From the Initial visit to the day of the wedding the staff were great.

The second we pulled up at Plas Dinam we knew it was the venue for us - Katie, our wedding coordinator, put us at ease and gave us plenty of time to explore the venue, answering any questions we had. There are a range of places you can choose to get married - from outdoors to indoors, grand hall to green lawn; at Plas Dinam you can really make the whole day your own and take the reigns in terms of design, timings and suppliers for the big day. We loved that we could put our own stamp on the place and bring our vision to life.
The fact we could have so many family and friends staying onsite with us was also a massive win - and the house is fantastic! All the original features have been maintained and the bedrooms are beautiful, in between the madness of setting up and getting ready - it felt like a holiday!
For fellow Welsh people; you don't need to go to England to get what you're looking for, the venue of your dreams is closer to home! ;)

We couldn’t have dreamt of a better day. The second we saw Plas Dinam we knew it was the venue for us and didn’t have a single doubt in our minds that we, and all our guests would have the most memorable day. We had our hearts set on an outdoorsy wedding, but it was great to know that there were many options for plan b if it rained. It didn’t! The setting was incredible, having the woodlands for our ceremony was everything we could have hoped for, and the stables was unique and brought the outside in. Big shout out to Lou from Plas Dinam who helped us on the day and in the months before making sure everything ran smoothly.

We knew there was no other place to hold our wedding as soon as we saw Plas Dinam. Both bride and groom were made to feel equally as important when we came to see the venue which was really important for us - it was the only venue we saw that acted in this way.
The venue and environment is calm, inviting and warm. It feels like a place you can live in, which is exactly what we did for 4 days. Nothing was a problem, everything had a solution and any suggestion or query was met with simple, clear and concise advice.
The home itself is incredibly well equipped for weddings and for a general stay. There are plenty of rooms with the most comfortable beds we have stayed in away from our own. And with the owners just down the road, they were on hand should anything need fixing, if we had any questions or even for some local tips on where to go and what to do. The size of the place and its grounds mean there are plenty of options for seamlessly dealing with bad weather, or for hosting any kind of wedding you may want - regal, natural, bright, colourful, outdoors, indoors, rustic etc.
There is not a single part of Plas Dinam which doesn't make you feel equally awestruck but comfortable. Sitting in the rear garden, taking in the view and listening to the world was almost as memorable as the wedding itself.
Worth every moment. Unforgettable.

We had an absolutely amazing experience getting married at Plas Dinam. The grounds and house are beautiful. The communication with Eldrydd and Louise was excellent and we felt confident from the start that this was the only venue we wanted to get married in. The whole experience was fantastic. The house was spotless and smelt amazing. It was the wedding we wished for and more!
