Wokefield Place is a contemporary building providing couples with the option of a more modern wedding venue. The Wokefield Suite, located in Wokefield Place, is an ideal choice for couples seeking a dry hire option as it benefits from a satellite kitchen for external caterers.
In addition to the golf course, guests can also enjoy the newly-refitted Technogym equipment, indoor swimming pool, sauna, outdoor gym and tennis courts during their stay.

Facilities and Capacity | Mansion House
Ceremony | Dating back to the 16th century, the Mansion House is licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to 300 guests, allowing you to enjoy your whole day of wedding celebrations in the historic splendour of this beautiful building.
Wedding Breakfast & Evening Reception | The Mansion House can host wedding breakfasts and evening receptions for between 30 and 250 guests.
Spaces | The Terrace Suite is the main grand space offering a private bar and direct outdoor access onto it's very own private terrace area. The Lincoln Suite is a popular choice among couples for it's stunning dual-aspect views over the lawns and outdoor access to the lawns and beyond. For those dreaming of an outdoor wedding ceremony, the Wedding Pavilion situated on the Mansion House lawns is the perfect backdrop.

Ceremony | The Wokefield Suite can seat up to 400 guests for a ceremony, depending on your chosen set up.
Wedding Breakfast & Evening Reception | For a wedding breakfast and evening reception, the Wokefield Suite can accommodate up to 300 guests, however this is depending on your chosen set up.
Spaces | For those searching for a dry hire, self-catered wedding venue, the Wokefield Suite is perfect with it's modern decor and easy access to it's own satellite kitchen. Couples who book this space will also have access to The Pantry and The Avenue.
Our Wedding Packages
Plowden | Weaver | Allfrey
All our wedding packages include hire of your wedding breakfast and evening reception rooms, reception drink, wedding menu, wine with your wedding breakfast, Prosecco to toast, evening food, red carpet arrival, changing and storage room, PA system, dancefloor, Honeymoon Suite on the wedding night, menu tasting, anniversary stay, cake stand and knife and a dedicated wedding coordinator.
Civil ceremony room hire is charged separately.
Self-Catered
Our self-catered wedding packages include hire of your chosen event space, use of a private space for your relaxation and drinks, use of a kitchen, a Duty Manager to liaise with your caterers, a changing room and storage room, Honeymoon Suite for the couple for two nights, tables and chairs, white linen table cloths and corkage for all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Civil ceremony room hire is charged separately.
Exclusive Venue Use
Exclusive private use is available for the whole Estate, just Wokefield Place or just the Mansion House. This includes all bedrooms in your chosen building, all event spaces, restaurant and bar spaces and lawns.

Me, my husband & my family can not express enough how thankful we are too the De Vere Wokefield Estate Team.
Louise, who helped plan our entire wedding really could not do enough to help us. She has been absolutely amazing - Also; Ivan, Vanessa, Bernadette & Olgar, from helping set up the day before, to being there all day long on our wedding day, we really couldn’t of done it without you all so thank you so much!
Brandon and the team in the Benedict’s Bar at Wokefield place were so helpful throughout our stay, they were all so lovely & kind.
I can’t recommend Wokefield estate enough, absolutely fantastic staff & the venue really speaks for itself. Just breathtaking!

Beautiful venue with amazing staff!
On the big day Vanessa and the team took care of everything, allowing us to relax and enjoy the moment. Their professionalism and friendliness really stood out and made us feel so at ease. The grounds and rooms of Mansion House were also beautiful, and we loved being able to celebrate in such a stunning location!
Overall, the entire process was extremely enjoyable, and we are so glad we chose Wokefield Estate as our wedding venue. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful setting that will offer personalised touches to celebrate their special day!
The most beautiful, smooth sailing wedding day
You kept us so calm and organised in the build up so we didn’t have a single worry on the day. The toastmaster was incredible, we wouldn’t have any clue what to do or when without him!
Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, whether it was collecting family members for photos or letting us escape for 10mins!

Perfect Wedding, Finally!
Nattasia and Tasha were both incredibly helpful, with Tasha being on furlough for a year she still kept in contact with us keeping us updated.
When we had to re book, and rebook again the venue were an absolute pleasure to deal with and there was never a hint of a post covid price hike or additional add ons, in fact we even got a second food tasting as the menu had changed.
Me and my wife had some very odd and bespoke requests which were all dealt with with a smile and an open mind.
On the day despite there being a few speedbumps the venue staff handled them without my wife ever knowing about them, which I would recommend to any Man that this be a target! It is her day afterall.
Once the ceremony started my job was done and at no point through the day were we bothered with issues. Everything just happened! And they happened exactly as we asked. The only anxious moment was when we realised we had totally forgotten about a few things not mentioned for 18 months. But perhaps unsurprisingly the venue staff dealt with them exactly as we had requested in 2019.
Our hotel room was exquisite! Holly did an amazing job to make the room the room an absolute joy to come back too after our wedding breakfast! Gifts balloons and Champagne all laid on unexpectedly, as well as some very cute cuddly toys which we were encouraged to take with us as a memento, to which ablighed!
The food was amazing and venue just perfect.
This really was the wedding of our dreams and could not have been better dealt with.
I cannot recommend the DeVere enough for a Wedding venue, especially after the horror stories we heard from other friends who weren't so lucky to be here for their postponed weddings over the last few years.

I've worked in weddings and events for around 8 years; 4 of those have been here at Wokefield Estate, but I've been in the hospitality industry for over 16 years working in different sectors within the industry. I love working in weddings as I love how every couple and wedding is unique. I love getting to know couples and adding their personalisation and special touches to their day helping to create memories that couples will cherish forever!
Since 2014 I have worked in 4* star properties looking after weddings and special events. I have worked here at Wokefield for 7 years (with a year off maternity) and in November 2021 was promoted to Senior Wedding & Special Events Executive here at Wokefield. I love working in weddings as the idea that I have played a small part in making someone's dream wedding come true!
