From the moment we viewed the venue we knew it was the perfect setting for our wedding - needless to say we didn't look any further! A compact and intimate venue in the most beautiful location. The whole process was seamless from securing the booking to the final details before our big day. The staff were efficient and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. They maintained professionalism throughout the entire process.

Jess took the stress out of the whole planning experience - sourcing suppliers, providing invaluable advice and reassurance and keeping everything on track. We never felt under pressure at any point in the process.

On the Friday all the ladies gathered in The Stables (main accommodation) for drinks and nibbles - plenty of space for indoor entertaining.

On the day of our wedding Jess and the team worked, almost inconspicuously, to ensure everything went to plan and without a hitch. We didn't worry about anything.

On the Sunday we entertained approx 30 guests. The terrace was just perfect and the sun shone down - such an idyllic setting with stunning scenery.

Brinkburn certainly met all of our expectations.

Following a lot of research, Brinkburn was the first (and only, it turned out!) venue we visited - we knew straightaway that it was the place for us. From our first conversation with Jess, we knew that we would not need to worry about anything throughout the planning process right up until the Monday morning we reluctantly checked out after our perfect wedding weekend.
Brinkburn is simply stunning and Jess and her team are so flexible, professional and happy to help. From recommending suppliers, to answering our (many, many) questions quickly and clearly, to just being a wonderful supportive presence from the moment we arrived on the Friday afternoon, Jess has been simply invaluable. We just wish we could go back and do it all over again!

Of course Brinkburn is an absolutely stunning venue, that's easy to see when you first arrive. But the Brinkburn wedding team, 19.01 caterers and bar staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day at Brinkburn as special as it could be! From the very first viewing with Jess, and the regular meetings throughout the 2 year planning process, to Justine nailing the on the day wedding coordination. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team, and they all ensured our day ran perfectly. We can never thank you all enough for everything you did!

Our experience with Brinkburn was great from the very start. The booking was straight forward and the communication through email was quick and professional. The multiple video call/ check in meetings during the planning process were a god send and this made planning experience less stressful, especially when my now husband and I, have very busy work schedules. The venue itself is situated in beautiful, peaceful Northumberland and it felt very private even though the public still had access to the Brinkburn Priory. The accommodation (The Stables and the cottage) was well equipped and immaculate. The hampers on arrival were a lovely touch! The outdoor space with a large table meant that the night before close family could chill outside and eat together and play garden games.

The wedding day itself ran smoothly with the help of Jess, our wonderful wedding coordinator. As the bride, I did not stress in the morning as I knew Jess had everything organised.

After the wedding, the team cleaning up were very friendly and professional.

We got married at Brinkburn Priory at the end of August and our day was everything we dreamed of and more. From our first viewing we knew Brinkburn was the venue for us, it’s such a special and magical place, like a fairytale! From our first contact and throughout the planning process Jess was fantastic, super responsive, organised and helpful with any questions we had - she really is brilliant at her job! Jess, Mark and the rest of the Brinkburn team ensured our weekend ran smoothly and was exactly as we wanted it to be! Our guests all said the venue was stunning and everyone had a great day! My visit to Brinkburn was one of the first venues I had booked in to see. As I walked down the drive I just knew it was the perfect place for us. My partner only saw the outside and Priory and knew it was the right place! All other venues we went to after just didn't compare. We loved that you have the whole place to yourselves for the weekend. It's like a magical retreat. Jess and her team were amazing, the day ran like clockwork and nothing was too much of an ask.
We wish we could do the whole weekend again!! If you are thinking about booking just book because Brinkburn is such a magical place and you won't regret it.

I don’t know where to begin, what an amazing place to get married in. When you walk down that bank and see the priory literally everyone says/thinks “wow”.we were there for a long weekend and gutted when it was home time. Everything on the day went to plan and ran so smoothly thanks to Jess the coordinator, she took away all the stress and worry so that on the day we just had to turn up. She is amazing at what she does and you can tell she loves her job by how attentive and on the ball she is with absolutely everything, how people do this without someone like her is beyond me because I wouldn’t know where to start. From day one she gave us a rundown of what we needed to do and suggested suppliers and what vendors have been used before. The food by 1901 is absolutely amazing, all of our guests loved it (I’d get married there again just for the food alone) Dan and his team were so accommodating with everything on their side and if we needed anything, they were just a phone call away. Justine (apologies if I got the name wrong) who took over from Jess for the evening was also amazing. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing as she was there making sure the rest of our day ran just as smooth as earlier. If we needed anything, she popped up out of nowhere and was on it instantly. All the staff on the day in fact were faultless and couldn’t praise them enough, they all played a part in helping making our day what it was, magical. I can’t recommend Brinkburn Priory enough for a wedding, a few of our guests have said they can’t imagine another wedding being as good after attending here and I totally agree. I would have added photos but we we haven’t got them back from the photographer yet 😂

From the moment we went to view it over one year ago, we knew it would be the place for our wedding. To getting married in the priory, to the meal in the tipi and being able to share a full weekend with all our closest family and friends at such an idyllic location… this venue offered everything we hoped for and more! Jess was exceptional throughout the whole planning process, her meetings throughout the year in the lead up to the wedding were so reassuring and you could drop her an email anytime and she would get back to you, no question was ever too silly! The day itself ran so smoothly... we didn’t have to think about anything, it ran like clockwork just aa promised and the team were all so lovely. Big mention to Justine too who was so so wonderful throughout the weekend and on the evening and was just the loveliest lady! All the staff were second to none and nothing was too much for them and everything thought of and taken care of throughout. We smiled throughout the whole day as it was just seamless as Jess had contacted all suppliers and kept them all to time throughout. The food was also wonderful (big mention to dan the amazing caterer at 1901 who does all the weddings here and we had so many compliments so say it was the best wedding food our guests had ever eaten!). The whole experience and day itself felt so personal and special to us and that’s down to Jess and her wonderful team who make you feel like that, again thank you so so much for everything… you all delivered and more! We will cherish this weekend forever! And our wedding was the best day of our lives!! Xx

Where to start! As soon as we walked down the path to brinkburn we knew we wanted to get married there! It’s such an amazing and special place. Then we met Jess the true hidden gem of Brinkburn, throughout the planning she is so organised, calm and understanding. We always had all of our trust in her and the team. The day was perfection and felt so stress free knowing the team at brinkburn were totally in control. So many people have told us how perfect the day was and that is so down to this amazing venue and the people involved. Our day was perfect beyond our wildest dreams I can’t thank the team and all the suppliers for giving us memory’s that last a lifetime.

Our wedding day was absolutely magical considering the weather was April showers all day that didn’t stop the majesticness of Brinkburn. Jess was incredible throughout the day making sure everything went seamlessly with all the caters and provides involved throughout the day, she made me feel at ease throughout the whole wedding process and is an absolute boss! So thank you for helping us create such a magical wedding day for us. All the staff at brinkburn were professional, welcoming and nothing was a bother for them - everything went so seamlessly and we really had no worries on the actual wedding day. Brinkburn what can I say it’s just the most incredible grand and more spectacular that I ever thought wedding day would be it simply is magical being in the grounds and priory. We got married at Brinkburn in March 24. Working with Jess and the team made the event planning effortless and fun, and the day itself was so personal, exactly what we wanted. From start to finish the team at Brinkburn made everything so easy. We were amazed by the venue at the open day and looked no further. Our regular meetings with Jess ensured nothing was missed and everything was taken care of. The day itself was perfect and the team worked seamlessly to make sure everything ran smoothly. Jess took care of everything and it was so beautiful. The day after the wedding we had a Sunday lunch onsite with our immediate family and enjoyed making the most of our weekend. We had our wedding at the stunning Brinkburn Priory, it was quite honestly the most perfect venue for our wedding day!
We stumbled across Brinkburn when looking at potential venues in Northumberland and from the moment we walked down the drive and caught sight of the priory building we loved it - Then we saw the tipi and just knew it was the perfect place for us.
We met Jess (wedding coordinator) who showed us around and talked through dates and was so friendly / helpful / chill / not pushy in any way shape or form.
The run up to our wedding was pretty relaxed, Jess recommended suppliers and we touched base with her throughout the year so there was no mad rush near our day.
The weekend itself was just pure magic from start to finish. We arrived on the Friday and had a quick rehearsal which Jess coordinated and got everyone in the right place, we decorated the Tipi and had close family and friends over in the main house for a meal and drinks. The morning of the wedding felt like it went by in a flash…the team at Brinkburn were busy doing last minute jobs and handing out blankets in the priory (March wedding bloody Baltic) and getting everyone prepped and ready to go. Our ceremony in the priory building was just beautiful and although such a big building, we barely decorated it (because it is just stunning) it felt so intimate as Jess and her team had put out just the right number of chairs for our 75 guests.
The reception drinks were held in the white room with a log burning fire on to warm us all up, it was just great.
We had our wedding breakfast in the tipi and our band in the white room - my favourite part was doing our first dance outside on the terrace with our loved ones all around. The venue is incredible because you have so much space but it feels so intimate and cozy at the same time.
The whole weekend was absolutely perfect, can’t fault a single thing. We love so much the Brinkburn is a family run business and really loved chatting to them about the history of the buildings and their family.
Can’t recommend Brinkburn highly enough as the MOST perfect place to get married. We can’t wait to go back to stay in one of their holiday cottages or attend a yoga retreat they host.
