What can I say.............
We got married and had our reception and evening celebration at Mar Hall on November 20th, what can I say......we knew from the first visit back in January 2011 that this was the place for us and the staff sealed the deal. Mar Hall is a wonderful place and steeped in history, we especially liked the ceiling in the grand hall and all the fireplaces and windows. Our special thanks to Vikki our wedding coordinator- thank you for all your help and hard work in the past year, Pat (the best doorman, he looked after me and my family wonderfully and showed me brad pitts entry in the guest book!), Danny, our private butler! what a lovely and intelligent young man with a true sense of pride and professionalism in his work. Our thanks go to everyone else at Mar Hall who helped make the day so perfect and for your wonderful service to all of our guests, everyone mentioned how great you all were.

The Perfect Day
Vikki - Matt and I cannot thank you enough for making the 30th of July the perfect day for us. I only met you for the first time towards the end of the planning stage and you just picked up where Anna/Jennifer had left off without any problems whatsoever. All our requests were dealt with promptly and you were an absolute pleasure to work with. You did a fantastic job in ensuring that the day was everything that we had dreamt of and more and are a real credit to Mar Hall. All our guests are still raving about our day, many of them from the restaurant/hospitality industry and were very impressed wtih the venue and the proffesionalism of the staff. Compliments must also go to the chef as everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and I believe the evening buffet went down a treat too! We would also like to thank Craig and the banqueting team who led our day so well and efficiently. You treated my family, all the guests, Matt and I like Royalty from the moment we arrived at the hotel until the moment we left. Thank you for making our day so special. Catriona & Matthew Lowe x

Perfect day for us

Amazing Setting
To Anna Healy and team, We would like to thank and commend Jennifer Campbell and her team for our fantastic wedding at Mar Hall on the 21st November. Please excuse the late response but after honeymoon and atrocious weather!! we have got around to it! Jennifer was outstanding in her calm and efficient organisation and help. Right from the start she suggested an ideal package within a very short time period. Her suggestions were ideal, the package price excellent and for a smaller wedding worked ideally for us. All our details and requests were followed to the letter and and she was extremely prompt in confirming all points. Jennifer was always so pleasant and friendly it made it all seem very straightforward and easy. She really made us feel very secure that all would be right on the day. I would also like to mention Angie and Catherine by name who led the whole day so well. Smooth, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. The meal was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Might I mention that many of the guests are in the restaurant and catering business and are not easily impressed but were really bowled over by the meal and service. Mar Hall is an impressive location for any event but what really impressed us was that the events team were professional and approachable and so the day was relaxing in an amazing setting. We will certainly be nominating Mar hall for the Vows Award and ourselves and guests will recommend Mar Hall to anyone considering a wedding or event. Thanks again to Jennifer and team.

The whole day was phenominal
Hi Anna, We're just back! How was your holiday? The whole day was phenomenal - we really cant thank you all enough. Everyone has commented on how fantastic the staff at Mar Hall were on the day. We were all treated so well, nothing was too much trouble. The catering staff were so kind - saying lovely things about how fantastic our wedding was and what a great time everyone seemed to be having. Even at breakfast the next morning! it just made it all so much more special! The meal was fantastic in general, and I heard the buffet went down a storm too. It was more than we could ever have asked for! Can you please pass our thanks on to all the staff? Thanks once again, Maria & Ewen

Great Day
Dear Anna, I just wanted to drop ou a line to thank you and all of your team for the great day that we all had on the 31st. The day went really smoothly and I was relieved there were no hitches etc (other than the rain...we really didn't care!!!). All of the food went down really well and I would appreciate if you could extend this thanksto the chef. We had a chef and the manager of Malmaison at the wedding who both were really impressed with the food!!! The evening buffet went down a storm (although I didn't have any....)!! Thank you personally as well for all of your input. I know that we've dealt with several people in the 18 months and i appreciate the effort you went to to ensure that everything was well organised. Special Day
Hi, I would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Marhall who made by wedding day so special on Thurs 8th Oct. My husband and I arranged afternoon tea for our parents and then had an overnight stay at the hotel and we were all very impressed by the friendliness and professionalism at all times. We can honestly say that it is the nicest hotel we have stayed at and will be recommending it to all our friends and family. It really made our day feel special. Absolutely Perfect Day
Anna, I have been meaning to write this email for weeks but since returning to work I don't know where the weeks have gone. I just wanted to personally thank you for all your help on the day. You are a credit to Mar Hall and I hope that they recognize and give you credit for the excellent job that you personally do!! The day was perfect, everyone probably says that about their wedding day, but from start to finish it was seamless!! The banqueting staff were great and please pass on my thanks to that team also. I wish you all the very best for the future and no doubt our paths may cross if I am out at the hotel for afternoon tea!! Suzy.
