We had a faultless experience with Bawtry Hall from the moment my friend and I visited for the showcase in late 2022. This is an imposing and impressive building with high ceilings, chandeliers, wood floors and crucially a neutral interior which meant that any colour scheme would work inside. Having the ceremony, dinner and dance floor rooms separately meant that there was no wait as rooms were 'turned around' and everyone in the dancefloor room was there to dance, with the other rooms used for more relaxed vibes as you could still hear the music but didn't need to shout to be heard as you have to when everything is in one room. Outside, the gardens are beautiful and vast for photographs. This venue is also dog friendly which meant that our dog could join us for the day and was able to be a ring bearer for our ceremony, which was also a non-negotiable for us. We arranged for fireworks in the evening and these were so special over the gardens.

We spoke with the events staff, Tori and Lindsey, extensively around our plans - with two additional viewings - before we booked the venue. Tori and Lindsey were available for every silly email with questions and queries over the following 18 months+ and we could not be more grateful for their time and patience.

For the day itself, we were passed over to the co-ordinator, Libby, and Master of Ceremonies, Urban. For me, as someone who likes to be 'in control' it was difficult to pass on our dreams to them to run for us but Libby and Urban did their homework of our plans and timings, talked with us about what we needed and delivered this faultlessly on the day. Even when we ran behind (I was late) and a supplier didn't arrive as planned, Urban shuffled some timings around to ensure we kept to the plans we had discussed with him and Libby chased down our missing supplier. We could not have asked for more from this dream team and we are delighted that our day went as smooth as it did - our guests were non the wiser.

Don't be put off by the fact that it doesn't operate as a hotel with rooms - this actually worked out so well for us as it meant that suppliers could have access earlier as there would be no members of the public that things needed to be kept open for. Our venue dresser was able to access on Wednesday, and we attended on Thursday and Friday dropping off supplies and checking in. Libby was on hand to take any last queries and tweaks on Thursday and Friday and these were implemented in advance of our wedding Saturday. It was a load off my mind on Friday night when trying to sleep knowing that I had seen the venue almost in it's 'ready to go' state.

After packing up for us on Sunday, we only had to go and collect our boxes and gifts which was hugely appreciated with slightly sore heads! The Crown is just a short walk down the road through very pretty Bawtry and so it was very easy to walk there and back for all of our guests. Urban even announced to our guests when would be a good time to go and check in and Libby arranged for bags of the wedding party to be delivered to our rooms from Bawtry Hall after we arrived on Saturday. We were able to store spare shoes and a change of shirt for my husband in the cloakroom and staff room area and so we never missed the hotel feel with a room upstairs.

In short, book it. You will be in safe hands.

We booked our wedding in 2022 with Tori the manager at Bawtry Hall, and from start to finish she has been there helping us along the way, to ensure our day was what we wanted.

The Hall is a country estate located within the small market tow ln of Bawtry south of Doncaster, and has amazing period features, but due to the large windows and light colouring is extremely inviting and a sight to behold.

The venue is simply beautiful it would he possible to even get away with minimal dressing of the rooms as the period features and existing decor are impressive.

When we booked our wedding we went for a Friday package with set menu, and as we approached our day we saw the venue began to offer build your own menu options, we approached Tori and asked about rejigging some aspects of our set menu and she was able to accommodate our changes with ease.

The in-house DJ and Urban the master of celebrations are simply amazing and help to make the day.

The sister hotel which is where the accommodation is at, is only a short walk across the market place and the bridal suite (suite one) is stunning with it's turquoise and white tones, dressing room and ensuite.

We would 100% recommend Bawtry Hall for anyone wanting to have a country estate wedding.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the wedding planning team at Bawtry Hall, including Libby, Tori, and Lindsey. From the moment we first met with them to discuss our wedding plans up until the day of the wedding, they were incredibly attentive, organised, and accommodating.

Tori and Lindsey, along with Libby, went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our special day was executed flawlessly. They were always available to answer our questions, offer guidance, and provide support throughout the planning process.

On the day of our wedding, Libby along with the rest of the team at Bawtry Hall, were absolute stars. We had our wedding day at Bawtry hall and it was definitely a day to remember! Was a perfect venue for our wedding we had the whole day there from the ceremony to the evening. We had so many compliments on the how beautiful the venue is and the staff was so helpful and professional. So many beautiful photo opportunities and beautiful gardens for the saxophonist and garden games 🥰

We had our wedding at Bawtry Hall on Sunday 27th August and the whole day was just incredible! I stayed over at The Crown Hotel next door the night before and had a lovely meal in the restaurant with my bridesmaids. Our make up artists, hairdresser & photographers came to the Crown the morning of the wedding and knowing we were literally 2 minutes away was such a relief. From start to finish the events team were amazing going above and beyond helping me with the day’s planning. On the day itself Libby who runs Bawtry Hall, her team & Urban the toastmaster ensured the day ran smoothly and everything was just perfect. We have received so many comments on how incredible to food was throughout the day. The whole team are a credit and nothing was too much trouble! The venue itself is just beautiful and our photographers got the most amazing shots of the hall as our backdrop. The day went so quickly, I wish we could do it all over again! Stunning venue and wedding coordination on the day was brilliant, it was very professional and smooth. Libby and Urban was fantastic. Our guests had all commented on how good the food was they received.

It is every girls dream to have the most perfect wedding day and that is what I experienced in entirety through my own special day held at Bawtry Hall on the 26th of May 2024.

The premises are idyllic and hold so much character with numerous rooms and areas to be explored which fulfilled all the requirements of the marriage, reception and evening entertainment while still allowing you the ability to find a quiet cosy place to take a breather and soak in the atmosphere whether it was within the premises or in the wonderful garden areas.

The whole of the Bawtry Hall staff and Support Team were exceptional in the service that they provided throughout the day and in the weeks and days running up to the same. Their support in providing experienced and professional suppliers, which we did utilise, was absolutely outstanding. They removed an enormous amount of stress and worry from ourselves and for which we are truly grateful.

I am sorry it is all over, although I can fully recommend Bawtry Hall as a stunning venue and location, with the service levels being provided behind this, to make such a fabulous and memorable occasion.

From the moment we visited Bawtry hall I knew this was where we were going to get married! The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff could not be more helpful. Our day ran perfectly with the help of Libby the coordinator, we couldn’t have asked for a better day. All of our guests commented on how nice the food was that we chose for our wedding breakfast. Bawtry Hall was a stunning venue for our wedding between Christmas and New Year. The catering was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for Libby and her team and they enabled us to have the most wonderful and relaxed day. Urban was excellent as toastmaster and topped off the day perfectly. The day was magical and we would highly recommend Bawtry Hall.

From the moment we laid eyes on this beautiful venue at one of their showcases, we knew it was the one. The preparation that goes into these days is unreal!

We were greeted by the very friendly & professional Master of Ceremonies, Urban, on a red carpet arrival with a welcome drink, then given a tour of the building followed by canapés… we had the best day at this showcase and were so impressed we just had to book our wedding here!!

The beautiful venue decor is by Karen at All Occasions and this is a must.

After booking our wedding, the events team were on hand to organise all the finer details and Libby the wedding coordinator arranged everything on the day. Our day was amazing and all our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. The food was delicious and the bar was fully stocked with everything our guests wanted. The venue decor was out of this world and really does make your day unique.
