Facilities and Capacity
Located in the beautiful Georgian Market Town of Bawtry, Bawtry Hall provides an exclusive and luxurious option where couples can celebrate the dawn of their new life together. This property can accommodate weddings with up to 150 guests. The venue boasts a gorgeous ceremony room overlooking the gardens where couples can exchange vows. This room has an air of tranquillity and peace, perfect for the occasion, featuring high ceilings, aged hardwood floors, and a delightful crystal chandelier that bathes the ceremony arch in a warm glow. When decorated with white drapes, rose petals, and candles, it has a heavenly ambience that couples and their guests will love. After the ceremony, the property's spectacular gardens and stunning architecture provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photos and cocktail receptions. The largest banquet room features a dance floor, stage and a licensed bar and is the ideal place to enjoy a wedding breakfast with up to 150 guests. All of the rooms feature exquisite styling and decor, large windows that fill them with natural light, and beautiful Georgian architecture with Greek columns dotted throughout.

Bawtry Hall provides various services that couples can tailor to meet their needs. The venue's dedicated MC and traditional toastmaster will ensure each wedding is as seamless as it is memorable. Outside vendors are welcome, and the team will supply a list f preferred vendors if needed. From styling and decor to wedding cakes and dresses, the team has it covered. Accommodation is available next door in Bawtyr Hall's sister venue, the Crown Hotel. There are 77 contemporary and luxurious rooms and a selection of dining options to suit even the most discerning palette. Fireworks and confetti are permitted at Bawtry Hall, and there are facilities for live music. The experienced team at the venue always go the extra mile to ensure that every detail is taken care of and will work with each couple to create a bespoke package that perfectly suits their requirements.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Most Perfect Day of Our Lives – Thank You, Bawtry Hall
From the very first moment we stepped into Bawtry Hall for our initial show-around, we both felt something special. We looked at each other and just knew — this was the place. The beauty of the venue took our breath away, but it was the warmth of the team and the way they made us feel instantly cared for that truly won our hearts.
From the months of planning, to the wedding day itself, to waking up the next morning at the sister hotel, The Crown, everything felt magical. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I asked what felt like a thousand questions — often worrying they were silly — yet every single time, the team replied with patience, kindness, and reassurance. They made us feel calm, supported, and genuinely excited, and because of them, I truly didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Tori, Libby, Anthony, Caz… and honestly every single person we encountered… you are all extraordinary. You didn’t just “host” our wedding — you held our day together with love, and we felt it in every little detail. Your attentiveness, your kindness, your organisation, your smiles — you made us feel like we were the only couple in the world.
The day went by in a blur of joy and emotion, and we wish we could relive every moment. Part of us even wishes we’d married earlier in the day — or stretched the whole thing into a weekend — just so we could have soaked up more of that happiness.
The food was outstanding, and the care shown around my dietary needs genuinely touched me. The chef and Caz went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and it absolutely was.
Bawtry Hall didn’t just give us a wedding.
They gave us a memory we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

The team are really warm and friendly. Emily in the events team was brilliant - so patient, organised and lovely to deal with. Libby was incredible on the coordination of the day itself, keeping everything calm, on time and completely stress-free.
Urban, the Master of Ceremonies, deserves a special mention. He’s worth his weight in gold - such a gentleman, so calm, kind and professional. He made sure the whole day flowed beautifully and brought such warmth to every part of it. You would not want your day without him!
The food and drinks were absolutely outstanding and a real highlight of the day. The canapés served after the ceremony were beautifully presented and so tasty - a perfect way to begin the celebrations and give guests a chance to mingle. We actually had two tasting sessions before we could decide on our menu because there was so much choice, and everything we tried was delicious. We were so happy with what we chose in the end, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how incredible the food was.
We also opted for a bespoke drinks package of Pimm’s to be served after the welcome drinks, which added a lovely, personal touch and complemented our wedding perfectly. For the evening food, we went for the BBQ in the gardens which just added to that summer feel of the day.
The venue itself looked breathtaking. It was styled by All Occasions who are the recommended venue stylist vendor by Bawtry Hall, and they were the best. They couldn’t do enough for us and made sure every detail was exactly as we imagined. The staff at Bawtry Hall worked tirelessly behind the scenes too, especially turning the Wesley Suite around after the ceremony ready for the wedding breakfast. Everything looked flawless!!
We had so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful and memorable the whole day was. We wish we could relive it over and over again!
It really was the best day of our lives, and having it at Bawtry Hall made it even more special. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing.

The Most Incredible Wedding Day at Bawtry Hall!
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day at Bawtry Hall. From start to finish, everything was absolutely seamless thanks to Libby and her amazing team — Lucy J, Miles, Caitlyn, Jake G, Tasha, Jude, Tyler, Liam L, and Flynn. Every single one of them went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly and was everything we dreamed of (and more!).
The venue looked stunning, the coordination was flawless, and we truly felt so well looked after throughout the whole day. Our guests commented on how effortlessly everything flowed — a real testament to how professional and dedicated the team are.
A special mention also has to go to Urban, our fantastic Master of Ceremonies, who kept the energy high, the timings perfect, and everyone smiling from start to finish. And DJ Paul was absolutely brilliant — the dance floor was full all night and the music couldn’t have been better!

We can only speak highly of all the staff - they were great throughout with all information & appointments making sure everything was to run smoothly - in which our wedding day couldn’t have gone any better! All the staff on the day were immaculate, making sure everything was in order and everyone had the best time.
We used the recommended venue styler ( Karen) she is ever so lovely, her & her team dressed the venue perfect, we had so many compliments on how beautiful everything looked! I would really recommend her.
I really could not fault the team or the venue Bawtry hall. My only concern would be for future couples is to make sure you choose / see your rooms before hand if you are staying at the crown hotel as I was upset with the room we was given for my bridal party to get ready in( although a lovely girl on reception upgraded us immediately when I expressed my concern and she made sure I was happy ). Also to clarify which bridal suite you will be staying in as personally I think the one we stayed in needs updating to give it that little bit more making your wedding night extra special! ( I think this was 501)
A special shout out to Libby & the guys on the security team / night staff at the crown hotel as they were really lovely and they all went above and beyond!

The venue itself is absolutely stunning! The gardens and interiors provided the perfect backdrop for our photos, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful everything looked.
The team at Bawtry Hall went above and beyond to make sure our day ran seamlessly. From the planning process through to the very end, everything was perfectly organised and stress-free. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a lovelier team to share our special day with.

The best day ever!
After we booked, we were invited to a taster evening at The Crown, which was such a lovely touch. We got to try all the food and pick exactly what we wanted for the big day. It felt super personal and made us even more excited.
The night before the wedding, we had a rehearsal dinner with our immediate family and wedding party in a private suite. The events team helped us plan it all, and it was the perfect way to kick things off - intimate, relaxed, and such a special evening.
On the day, everything ran like clockwork thanks to our amazing coordinator Libby. She was calm, organised, and totally on it from start to finish. She even acted as a behind-the-scenes content creator, capturing little moments on her phone throughout the day and sending them to us after. It was such a thoughtful touch and meant we had snippets to look back on straight away.
And a huge shoutout to Emily from the events team. She was an absolute star throughout the planning. I sent her endless emails (sorry, Emily!) and nothing was ever too much trouble. She was always quick to reply, super helpful, and genuinely lovely to deal with. Her support made the whole process feel easy and stress-free.
The staff on the day; Billy, Elliot W, Isla, Lily, Lucy J, Miles, and Flynn were brilliant. Friendly, professional, and kept everything running smoothly from start to finish.
The venue itself is stunning - elegant but welcoming, and full of character. It felt grand without being over the top, and our guests were blown away by how beautiful everything looked.

Perfect wedding venue!
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles, glasses of perfectly chilled champagne, and the golden glow of summer sunshine pouring across the grounds. It felt like the whole world had paused to give us this moment.
What made the day truly special was being surrounded by our wonderful family and closest friends. There was laughter in every corner, heartfelt conversations over canapés, and tears of joy during the speeches. The sound of clinking glasses, bursts of applause, and the occasional emotional hug created an atmosphere that was intimate, joyful, and full of love.
The Bawtry Hall team went above and beyond—from the seamless coordination behind the scenes to the impeccable service throughout the day. They allowed us to simply be present, take it all in, and enjoy every second without stress or worry.
The sun stayed with us into the evening as we shared our first dance, watched children run barefoot across the lawn, and created memory after memory under the dusky pink sky.
Our wedding reception wasn’t just a party. It was a celebration of love, laughter, and the people who mean the most to us—and Bawtry Hall was the perfect place for that story to unfold.

Role: Dealing with organising all weddings, special events, conferences, Christmas and anything that involves organising that special event in your life at both venues!
Length of service: Been at the hotel for 20 years! Wow!
Favourite bit of job: Love meeting new couples and planning their special day and listening to really interesting proposals and life stories!
Favourite thing about your job: The Crown and Bawtry Hall is the TEAM I work with , some amazing people that actually feel more like family and the old cliché of I never don’t look forward to going to work.
Favourite Wedding Breakfast Dish: This was a tough one as they are all super yummy but I would probably have to say “Crispy Chilli Chicken” Starter, Main Course, Beef Wellington and Dessert - ALL OF THEM 😊
Favourite first Dance Song: “I swear” just because this is the song I got married too

Favourite Food: This would have to be a “traditional afternoon tea” savoury and sweet together

Hobbies: I love to keep fit, not just good for your physical side but mentally releases those endorphins
Holidays: I’ve been fortunate to visit a lot of the world but by far I would have to say, Croatia, a little place called Cavtav, absolutely stunning
