Amazing Venue & Team
We had the most incredible wedding day at The Pear Tree and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue and team. From start to finish everything was seamless, and the whole team went above and beyond to make our day so special.
The setting is absolutely beautiful and created the most magical atmosphere for our celebration. Every detail was taken care of, the organisation was flawless, and the staff were so friendly, calm and attentive throughout the entire day.
A special thank you to Zee, our wedding coordinator, who was absolutely amazing. She made sure everything ran perfectly and was always there with a smile, making the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Knowing she had everything under control meant we could truly enjoy every moment of the day.
Our guests are still talking about how amazing the venue, food and service were. It truly made the day unforgettable for us and we are so grateful to everyone at The Pear Tree for helping create memories we will cherish forever.

Stunning venue and a perfect day
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! The aesthetics and grounds are absolutely stunning — every corner was picture-perfect and made for the most beautiful photos. The food was incredible, and all of our guests commented on how delicious everything was.
The drinks were another highlight — the range of cocktails was fantastic (especially appreciated by the bride, who’s a big cocktail lover!). Booking and planning were so easy, and the events manager was always on hand to answer questions or help with any last-minute changes we needed to make.
The whole day went seamlessly — everything ran perfectly, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We’re so grateful to the entire team for helping make our day so special. Highly recommend!

Our dream wedding!
We had the most incredible experience due to the incredible team at the pear tree. Chris and all of the staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and supportive.
The venue itself is stunning even on a wet day like our wedding day it was beautiful beyond belief.
The grounds are unmatched.
The food was delicious and the team made it magical for us and our guests.
I couldn’t recommend this venue enough.

Our perfect day at The Pear Tree
The Pear Tree was the most perfect wedding venue—we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning and created the dream backdrop for our day. The food was incredible—huge compliments to the chef, everything tasted amazing and was presented beautifully. A special thank you to Chris, our event coordinator, who was so helpful throughout the entire process. He made everything run smoothly and nothing was ever too much trouble. We’re so grateful to the whole team for helping make our day unforgettable!

The wedding of our dreams!
We had the pleasure of getting married at The Pear Tree on Saturday 14th December 2024 and the day was everything we could have dreamt of and more.
The whole wedding planning experience was enjoyable, right from the first look of the venue in April 2024! It’s such a stunning venue, we could picture ourselves getting married there instantly and our two dogs could be included so we didn’t hesitate to secure our date.
We were made to feel extremely special by all the team right through from the welcome meeting with John, then a second look round bringing our parents. We had supportive face to face planning meetings with Zee where she helped to advise on timings and layout for smooth running whilst also ensuring we were tailoring the day and adding our own personal spin on how we wanted it to be. Our next visit was a private menu tasting experience where the chefs and bar staff completely wow’ed us! Lauren then took care of our final planning details and prepared us for our big day.
Lauren and all the staff worked very hard on the day to ensure everything was set up to and positioned to how we desired. Lauren made us feel so relaxed whilst she ensured the timings with our other suppliers and throughout the day ran smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The drinks reception and dinner service was top tier, we received so much positive feedback of how much our guests enjoyed it and the pizzas also went down a storm in the evening.
Throughout the whole day and night, all of our guests and bride and groom were very well looked after. Huge thanks again to everyone at The Pear Tree, Purton.

We had THE best time!
We recently had our wedding at The Pear Tree in Purton and honestly the whole team were incredibly organised, professional and remembered every tiny detail, a word we both used to describe our experience was…seamless. Myself and my now Husband (eeee), along with all of our guests, were so well taken care of by the whole team and our events manager Lauren always made us feel so relaxed whilst gently keeping us to the time schedule we wanted. Lauren was perfectly attentive, always making sure we were having THE best time.
The food felt very high quality, even down to the breakfast the following day with as many hot drinks on order that you could want with fresh bacon/mushroom rolls along with a lovely continental table!
All our guests have said what a beautiful time they had, and we wish we could re live the whole day.

Incredible Venue and Events Team!
We had our wedding at the Pear Tree and it was everything we had hoped it would be - the staff on the day were kind, attentive and helpful, and our wedding coordinator Lauren was really supportive and helpful during the planning process and on the day itself.

Best Day Ever
We had our wedding at the Pear Tree on Saturday 11 Feb and it was absolutely magical!! We knew the venue was perfect for us even before first viewing but this was only confirmed when the venue agreed to hold our wedding on a date they were scheduled to still be closed for January maintenance.
Food was incredible, venue/rooms were spotless and spectacular, service was amazing - catering, bar, housekeeping. Honestly can't thank the team enough for making everything so special and we've had so many compliments from guests!
Tom and I want to say a huge thank you to the team for making our weekend so special!! A massive thanks to Zosia and Lauren who helped make the Friday and Saturday as stress-free and seamless as possible and whose attention to detail helped to make the Orangery look perfect! A huge thanks also to Lauren and Jade for their patience and help along the planning journey.

Absolutely Brilliant!!!
The Pear Tree is an absolutely stunning venue with a first class events team. Throughout our planning journey (which was extended due to COVID) the events team have been excellent at keeping in contact, checking in regularly, and making the vision of our wedding a reality. On the day of our wedding they were brilliant at ensuring that we had everything we needed, guests were happy, drinks and food were aplenty and that the day flowed smoothly without a hitch. We are so grateful for everything they have done for us and could not have planned our wedding to have been in a more wonderful place.

Perfect dream wedding at The Pear Tree
My wedding was perfect! the staff were so attentive checking on me throughout the day, getting everything prepared before I even mentioned it and ensuring the day went very smoothly. The venue was modern and beautiful! my guests were blown away by the bespoke menu, rooms and amazing drinks. I would recommend the venue for sure

The BEST day of our lives
Massive THANK YOU to Duncan, Sarah & the entire team at The Pear Tree.
We finally had our day on 19th August 2021 after postponing from 2020 and we must say it was certainly worth the wait! It was the BEST day of our lives.
We fell in love the venue as soon as we saw it and knew instantly this was the place we wanted to say ‘I do’
Even though we faced many challenges over the period when Covid first hit, Sarah & Angus were fantastic and came up with solutions to hold our special day, which we decided to postpone. After 18 months of planning our day had finally arrived the excitement was unreal. Our day was beyond everything we hoped and wished for, the day was filled with fun, happiness and so much love by all. It was perfect in every way and that was down to the AMAZING team at The Pear Tree.
Special thanks to Duncan our Wedding Events Manager who personally ensured the day went smooth and perfect for us. Duncan’s attention to detail was five star and everything was covered throughout the day.
I personally would like to say Thank- You for putting up with me :-)
Some more thanks to Sarah, Jade & Emily for all your support and time you have given me and my hubby, we appreciate you all.
