We got married at Shotton Grange on 21/09/2026.

From our very first viewing the staff at Shotton couldn’t have done more, they were very quick to respond to emails and answer any questions we had and very quick to accommodate any changes we needed to make.

Our day it’s self was everything we could have dreamed of and more. We loved the idea of getting married in front of the house. The weather was on our side and we got our wish. The staff could not have done more for us.

Food we had 3 course meal from the heritage menu and pizza for evening food. Food was beautiful and we received lots of positive feedback from our guests.

Shotton really gave us the intimate wedding we were hoping for. We would definitely recommend this venue for future brides and grooms.

Shotton is a beautiful venue to get married at. It has multiple ceremony options both indoor and out which are a lovely backdrop for the occasion.

There are rooms on site but you don’t HAVE to pay for them, unless people are staying which was an added bonus for us.

The food was wonderful, we received lots of good feedback including ‘this is the best wedding food I’ve had’.

One thing that some older guests did mention was that the outdoor seating was a little bit low and the seats were deep which was slightly awkward for guests with mobility issues.

Compared to some other venues we felt Shotton was great value for money, there was flexibility with packages and lots of added extras like lawn games, post box and welcome sign which helped keep the cost down that little bit more.

On the day staff were very friendly and amazingly organised, keeping everything on track but not seeming stressed about any of it.

We would highly recommend the venue to others and look forward to returning in the future!

Everything was perfect. From the moment I planned my wedding to the wedding day. Communication was spot on. Staff in the day were amazing, couldn’t fault anything absolutely incredible

Shotton Grange was the dream venue for us, couldn't imagine anywhere more perfect! Thank you to the whole team from the initial meeting and looking around for the first time through to our amazing wedding day!! Words cannot describe how amazing our day was. We are so glad we found Shotton Grange, it's the most beautiful, perfect venue. So glad we could get married outside. It looked beautiful. We have had so many compliments from guests about the venue/outdoor areas as well as how good the food was both day and night. Loved the garden games which kept both kids and adults entertained.

Particular thanks to our masters of ceremonies who was absolutely fantastic; so lovely as well as a true professional and kept the day on track and true to what wanted.

The whole day and night was perfect and we felt so happy.

We recently got married at Shotton grange in June and it was the best day! From start to finish everything ran so smoothly. We changed a few things morning of the wedding and the staff were incredible. From our very first meeting to the last they made sure we were always happy and comfortable with all changes. We highly recommend this venue! The grounds are gorgeous and staff are smashing!

We honestly couldn't have chosen a better venue for our wedding. From our very first visit, the staff were welcoming, professional and incredibly supportive, making the whole planning process feel stress-free.

On the day, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue looked stunning, the food was delicious, and every detail was taken care of with such care and attention. The team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends.

Our guests have all commented on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the service was throughout the day. We truly felt so well looked after and couldn't have wished for a more magical place to celebrate such a special occasion.

I cant thank the staff at Shotten Grange for their amazing help, advice etc with our wedding. From the first meeting to the day of the wedding they were there to help. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding.

On the day itself, everything ran perfectly. The energy from the staff was incredible – so friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited for us, which made such a difference. The food was unreal, and we had so many compliments from our guests saying how much they loved it.

A very special mention has to go to Karen, our Master of Ceremonies. She was an absolute star from start to finish – such a great laugh, constantly keeping us updated, and making sure we were fully looked after the entire day. She went above and beyond for us and is truly an amazing asset to the venue.

The whole Manor House and every bedroom is absolutely stunning. All the details in the rooms are amazing, and staff made us and all of our guests who stayed over feel so welcome from start to finish, with nothing being too much of an ask.

The food is truly outstanding quality and it was such an important touch for us that we could create our own bespoke menu.

Ever since we booked our wedding everyone at Shotton Grange was so helpful and supportive. No question has ever been too much of an ask, and we have been beyond impressed at just how responsive the staff were throughout.

Everything was perfect right from the viewing day! Booking process was easy and all the staff were amazing and so helpful everything was how I wanted it without a problem. The morning of the wedding I had a bit of panic thinking I wouldn’t get things done in time but the girls were fantastic and just told me to tell them what I wanted and they’d get it done helping set the tables etc it couldn’t of gone and better! The whole place was just magical and perfect ❤️

We got married at Shotton Grange on one of the hottest days of the year so really made use of the stunning grounds for our Ceremony and Drinks Reception.

The whole team prior and on the day went above and beyond for us from small minor last minute changes on the week leading up to the day to just everything running so perfect on the actual day including Aaron having a nose bleed 10 minutes before the ceremony!!

I could not recommend this venue enough to anyone looking for an amazing place with great staff, service and food!

All of our guests have commented on how amazing the food was from the wedding breakfast, evening pizza to the breakfast the following morning!

My husband and I got married at the parlour at blagdon in early may 2025. And we have nothing but positive things to.say.

The venue itself is just beautiful it has a rustic classic feel with all the modern comforts. We loved that our guests had several different areas they could sit and the day just flowed. We are the most disorganised pair ever the staff were incredibly patient and flexible but gave us a gentle push when needed. Racheal ran our day and she was the perfect person for us she was on hand all.day and nothing was too much for her or the other staff.

If we could.do it all.again we would.choose the parlour everytime.

The best compliment we got from so many of our guests I would say also.is a compliment to the parlour. They said it was 1 of the best weddings they have ever been too.

We can’t recommend Shotton Grange enough. From start to finish they made the wedding experience so easy and relaxed. The team really go above and beyond, no detail is too big or too small. The communication from the planning team couldn’t have been better. Every member of staff that we came into contact with were amazing. All of our guests commented on how wonderful all the staff were on the day. You can tell they are all passionate about their jobs and it really shows in their work. We’d also like to add how amazing food is at the venue. We were lucky enough to stay at the venue the night before our wedding with all of our wedding party, the food provided was 5*. The staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. They were professional, warm, and genuinely excited to help bring our vision to life. In particular Max, she was BLOODY amazing and deserves a pay rise! We absolutely loved her and a lot of our guests commented on how incredible she was from start to finish! Nothing was too much trouble, and their calm presence made us feel completely at ease throughout the day.

We’ve received so many compliments from our guests – they were blown away by the atmosphere, the flow of the day, and just how seamless everything was. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful experience.
