Shotton Grange was the dream venue for us, couldn't imagine anywhere more perfect! Thank you to the whole team from the initial meeting and looking around for the first time through to our amazing wedding day!! Words cannot describe how amazing our day was. We are so glad we found Shotton Grange, it's the most beautiful, perfect venue. So glad we could get married outside. It looked beautiful. We have had so many compliments from guests about the venue/outdoor areas as well as how good the food was both day and night. Loved the garden games which kept both kids and adults entertained.

Particular thanks to our masters of ceremonies who was absolutely fantastic; so lovely as well as a true professional and kept the day on track and true to what wanted.

The whole day and night was perfect and we felt so happy.

We recently got married at Shotton grange in June and it was the best day! From start to finish everything ran so smoothly. We changed a few things morning of the wedding and the staff were incredible. From our very first meeting to the last they made sure we were always happy and comfortable with all changes. We highly recommend this venue! The grounds are gorgeous and staff are smashing!

We honestly couldn't have chosen a better venue for our wedding. From our very first visit, the staff were welcoming, professional and incredibly supportive, making the whole planning process feel stress-free.

On the day, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue looked stunning, the food was delicious, and every detail was taken care of with such care and attention. The team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends.

Our guests have all commented on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the service was throughout the day. We truly felt so well looked after and couldn't have wished for a more magical place to celebrate such a special occasion.

We honestly had the most amazing day at Shotton Grange. From the very beginning, the whole planning process was made so easy and stress-free, which meant we could actually enjoy the build-up to our wedding rather than worry about it.

On the day itself, everything ran perfectly. The energy from the staff was incredible – so friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited for us, which made such a difference. The food was unreal, and we had so many compliments from our guests saying how much they loved it.

A very special mention has to go to Karen, our Master of Ceremonies. She was an absolute star from start to finish – such a great laugh, constantly keeping us updated, and making sure we were fully looked after the entire day. The whole Manor House and every bedroom is absolutely stunning. All the details in the rooms are amazing, and staff made us and all of our guests who stayed over feel so welcome from start to finish, with nothing being too much of an ask.

The food is truly outstanding quality and it was such an important touch for us that we could create our own bespoke menu.

Everything was perfect right from the viewing day! Booking process was easy and all the staff were amazing and so helpful everything was how I wanted it without a problem. The morning of the wedding I had a bit of panic thinking I wouldn’t get things done in time but the girls were fantastic and just told me to tell them what I wanted and they’d get it done helping set the tables etc it couldn’t of gone and better! The whole place was just magical and perfect ❤️

We got married at Shotton Grange on one of the hottest days of the year so really made use of the stunning grounds for our Ceremony and Drinks Reception.

The whole team prior and on the day went above and beyond for us from small minor last minute changes on the week leading up to the day to just everything running so perfect on the actual day including Aaron having a nose bleed 10 minutes before the ceremony!!

I could not recommend this venue enough to anyone looking for an amazing place with great staff, service and food!

All of our guests have commented on how amazing the food was from the wedding breakfast, evening pizza to the breakfast the following morning!

My husband and I got married at the parlour at blagdon in early may 2025. And we have nothing but positive things to.say.

The venue itself is just beautiful it has a rustic classic feel with all the modern comforts. We loved that our guests had several different areas they could sit and the day just flowed. We are the most disorganised pair ever the staff were incredibly patient and flexible but gave us a gentle push when needed. Racheal ran our day and she was the perfect person for us she was on hand all.day and nothing was too much for her or the other staff.

If we could.do it all.again we would.choose the parlour everytime.

The best compliment we got from so many of our guests I would say also.is a compliment to the parlour. They said it was 1 of the best weddings they have ever been too.

Honestly, the most stunning venue and the food was absolutely exceptional. We chose a three-course meal for our wedding breakfast and stone-fired pizzas for the evening. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed everything and even said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. Every single member of staff was attentive, friendly, and polite, they truly couldn’t have done more for us. Bonus points for being so dog-friendly!
