Joe and I visited Homme for the first time in April 2019. We were welcomed by Charlie and Sarah who took the time to show us around their wonderful home and grounds. We were struck by their warmth and genuine interest to get to know us as a couple. We felt they were as invested in our day as us from the off, and this did not change as we weathered the stormy seas of covid together.
Over the next 18 months our wedding changed multiple times as we adjusted to the numerous restrictions and a ‘new normal.’ As a couple we faced disappointments, anxiety and uncertainty, but throughout it all Charlie and Sarah were by our side. From regular emails, Zoom calls, and creative ideas on how we could make a covid-friendly wedding still feel special and enjoyable.
On the day, Charlie, Sarah and the wider family once again opened their arms and home for us and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a wonderful (and safe) time. Although our wedding was not what we had originally planned, the warmth and welcoming nature of Homme meant that our wedding of 15 felt intimate and perfect. The fairy lights and open fires looked beautiful and as the sun shone on our autumnal wedding and the red-brick of Homme House stood proud, Joe and I had no doubt in our minds that our covid-friendly wedding was perfect.
To all couples caught in the uncertainty of covid, a small wedding can be beautiful and meaningful. You would be in the safest of hands and most beautiful of settings with Charlie and Sarah at Homme House.

Fairytale wedding just beautiful
Beautiful venue for our wedding. Charlie and Sarah were lovely and such a help to us, they are a handful of people that are not only interested in your business but are interested in you as a couple which is lovely. We had our wedding amongst covid and amongst the restrictions. Charlie and Sarah were brilliant and made this a very covid friendly wedding. At times i forgot that we were in a pandemic! The thought and planning by them both and to make this the best day ever with the restrictions to be abiding by was a big task, but both Charlie and Sarah exceeded my expectations. The history of Homme house is lovely and to be a part of it is even more special. I would highly recommend homme house. We are already going back to celebrate our wedding day as unfortunately a lot of our family could not be there on the day due to COVID. P.s - you get beautiful photos too of the house in the background. X
