We got married in July 2024 (sorry for the delay in leaving the review!) and feel incredibly privileged to have had our wedding at Homme House. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful day for our wedding and had an outdoor ceremony next to the summerhouse, with incredible views over the countryside.

We fell in love with Homme instantly during our first visit, and did not hesitate to make our booking later that evening. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful, very well maintained, and full of history, character and wildlife. Homme is an incredible family home, not a corporate wedding venue, and this really shone through in every aspect.

We were warned by friends and family how stressful planning and organising a wedding is, but we were both delighted and shocked with how smooth and 'easy' everything seemed to be, from start to finish. This is very much down to Charlie and Sarah! We cannot give enough praise and thanks for your help, organisation, positivity, and wisdom. We found that nearly every detail we could think of had already been thought of and answered in your online resources, and where we did occasionally have questions, we would email them over and receive thoughtful and quick responses. We were completely at ease both during the build up and over our wedding weekend knowing that we were in safe hands, and are very grateful for all your work behind the scenes over the weekend to help things run absolutely perfectly.

There is so much more we could say, much more than we could fit into a short review - but Homme House is an incredibly special house, and has a very special place in our hearts. We are honoured to now be a very small part of its history, and cannot wait to visit again in the future - hopefully for a stay in the summerhouse to celebrate our first anniversary!

Homme House is picture perfect and provides the flexibility that so many other venues don't. Our wedding day was even better than we could have imagined and so many of our guests commented on what an amazing venue it is. The choice of the different outdoor and indoor spaces that you can utilise really makes the difference and provides some amazing backdrops for pictures!

We also loved the fact that our nearest and dearest could stay at the venue and on the night before the wedding we hosted a BBQ, meaning we could spend more time with our guests before the big day. The bedrooms are stunning with amazing views from all angles, we loved the individuality and character that each one has.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Homme House, Charlie and Sarah are dream hosts.

Charlie and Sarah went out of their way to make sure our wedding was incredible. We had the most wonderful day and our memories will be with us forever.

One of the things we loved most about Homme House was that it is not a high-volume, cookie-cutter wedding venue with a very restrictive set of packages and options to choose from. Instead, we were given complete freedom and support to design our day however we wanted. Charlie and Sarah are amazing and were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process - both during the planning stage with advice and supplier recommendations, and on the day itself helping to make sure that everything ran smoothly.

The house itself and the gardens are incredibly beautiful and are overflowing with history and character. It felt very special to be able to stay there with all our family and make it our home for two nights.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Homme House to couples who are planning a wedding of any size. Even with only a small number of guests, the house very felt cosy and homely.

We feel so lucky to have been able to hold our wedding here and can’t wait to go back and visit again in the future.

if i hadn't have married my husband here, I would've married someone or found an excuse to use the venue! absolutely stunning gorunds and house, accompanied by the most welcoming of owners Charlie and Sarah. any question we had they answered and anything we needed help with, they helped any way that they could. you will not go wrong with booking here nor forget such an incredible setting. i genuinely wish I could move in!

We had a fantastic wedding at Homme House and are so glad we chose it as our venue. Right from the first meeting with Charlie, we knew we would be in safe hands for what seemed like a daunting task ahead of us! Responding to our many emails within minutes, showing our families around the house and giving us various tips and tricks from their extensive wedding experience, Charlie & Sarah were incredibly helpful in the run up to our big day. We also chose the majority of our wedding suppliers from their extensive list of recommendations. On the weekend of our wedding, we felt very privileged to be staying in the majestic house, feeling like we were left alone but with Charlie & Sarah always magically around when you needed them! Our guests were suitably impressed, likening it to a very grand house party! All the finishing touches, for example arranging the bouquets around the house and serving a delicious breakfast the morning after, were the cherry on the cake for us. Our family stayed in the nearby coach house which was equally gorgeous. We look forward to visiting again soon, perhaps for an anniversary to relive the magic of the day.

We knew from the moment we first drove up the driveway of Homme House that it was a special place but, after spending the most amazing weekend there for our wedding in April, it’s fair to say Homme now has an incredibly special place in our hearts, as well as the hearts of our friends and family. The photos alone are stunning but as soon as you enter the house, you can feel the love that is poured into the place by the family.

Charlie was an absolute joy to work with throughout the planning process, and helped us to feel so much better about the somewhat daunting process of planning an entire wedding. Everything was dealt with so efficiently and, on the wedding weekend, Charlie and Sarah really went above and beyond to help ensure everything ran to the highest standard and as smoothly as possible.

We were made to feel so welcome from the first viewing, all the way through to welcoming our guests on the weekend of the wedding. We really couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue, it was so difficult to leave it behind once the wedding was over and we can’t wait to come back and visit again soon!

We honestly can’t recommend Homme House enough and are so incredibly thankful to Charlie and Sarah for being such an integral part of our absolute dream wedding.

We have had the most amazing experience with Charlie & Sarah, from the first time we visited - to the wedding day. They offer so much more than the location itself, and we couldn´t be happier with the whole process.

They have been so helpful, especially as we have been doing the majority of our wedding planning whilst living in a different country. The resources they provided for us to simplify our planning process were also great.

They helped us make sure all the key elements were in place well before, and during the big day, and they were great with communication through emails, Zoom meetings, and of course during our visits to Homme House.

We had the most amazing wedding at Homme House this May - we cannot recommend it enough from the relaxed atmosphere, stunning surroundings and amazing team headed by Charlie and Sarah. Homme House is a beautiful venue, and pictures do not do the house and gardens justice. All of our guests, kept asking us 'where did you find this venue, it is amazing'. Charlie and Sarah are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and they provide amazing support with a good sense of humour and wisdom showing the professionals they are. They also have the patience and flexibility when anything goes different to planned and are very accommodating. The ability to have guests stay on site the day before and the day of the wedding enabled us to have the sociable wedding we wanted and cannot be understated. Homme House is such a special place, and the day couldn't have gone any better and we cannot thank Charlie and Sarah enough!

Homme House is the perfect wedding venue if you want beautiful and serene surroundings, freedom and flexibility, and a first-class team to work with.

We cannot recommend Homme highly enough. Charlie and Sarah were invaluable in making our day the way we wanted it to be - both in helping to navigate challenges with suppliers, and ensuring a well-oiled machine over the weekend itself. No ask was too great. Working with Charlie and Sarah meant that we had whatever support we wanted, while retaining control and independence of the details - in our view, this was like having a wedding consultant but without being deprived of any of the fun of the planning!

The venue is gorgeous - inside and out - and the flexibility was a huge attraction (and one which was delivered on). We had complete freedom (but advice where we wanted it) on catering, no corkage charges, and accommodation at a fair price and charged only to the extent that we wanted to avail of it.

All in all, Homme House was everything we hoped for and more. It was also fantastic value and allowed us to curate our dream wedding. Thank you so much Charlie and Sarah - we will never forget just how perfect it all was.

We totally recommend Homme House as a wedding venue. We were married there on 28th Oct 2023 and had the perfect day. All the arrangements from the initial booking to the final day were expertly managed by Charlie and Sarah who took care of us all and made the whole experience very special. The house and views are stunning!

Homme House is an incredible, unique venue that made our wedding unforgettable. It has beautiful gardens and grounds to explore, as well as plenty of on-site accommodation for guests. Charlie and Sarah were incredibly helpful and welcoming hosts - helping to make the day go wonderfully and without any trouble.

With only 11 of us, Charlie and Sarah made sure the wedding ran smoothly and that everyone felt at home, within their home.

The small touches provided made our day so much more special. Even Charlie's photo, which was our first print image from the day now stands proudly in our living room and holds a lot of sentimental value to us both.

Wow! What an amazing venue - I don’t know where to begin! Our day would not have been as special as it was without Charlie and Sarah and everything they did in the run up and on the day itself; we will be forever grateful. The venue itself is beautiful and exactly what we wanted with the most amazing set up (including beautiful rooms, accommodation for guests, church nearby), but, beyond that, it was all the extras that made it stand out for us and why we booked on the spot when we visited! Charlie and Sarah really do open up their home to you for the weekend; their knowledge and love for the property is clear (even down to what parts of the garden are in bloom around your wedding so you can get the best photos!) and their attention to detail is phenomenal. You are made to feel like your special day is as important to them as it is you. A few times we asked ourselves ‘so what’s the catch?’ And there really isn’t one. They worked tirelessly to make sure the day ran perfectly. You will not regret booking Homme House for your wedding and we couldn’t rate it highly enough!!
