We’d like to send a huge thank you to the Boconnoc team for helping us create an absolutely perfect wedding day. From the moment we got engaged on site, it was the only place we could imagine getting married. We’re very grateful to the team for all their help in enabling us to have our big day at a place so special to my family, where my Grandad worked for many years. All of the staff are wonderful, friendly and ready to go beyond for us. Some perfect examples being poor Jamie-Lee having to scour the floor with me to find broken pieces of a special cake decoration. Or Catherine staying late to help us get the house set-up and constantly reassuring me everything was under control. Or Sima remembering that we’d requested to use the red lanterns my Grandad made, when this important detail had actually gotten lost to me in amongst all the rest of the planning.

Everyone was fantastic at helping bring our ideas to life and we can’t imagine how the day could have been more perfect. The moment we met Louise we knew everything was in safe hands. She and the team worked so seamlessly with the suppliers to keep the day flowing as planned. It’s a testament to their professionalism that we didn’t have to think about anything at all, other than enjoying the moment and spending time with our guests all day.

We’ve had countless comments from guests about how beautiful a setting the estate was and loved getting to share it with them. And it was an added bonus for them to be able to spend some time exploring the estate the next day too. Being able to have people stay on site was the cherry on top as we got to see everyone at breakfast the next morning - the perfect wrap up to our celebrations. We also really appreciated the supplier list the venue provided, having used a caterer (Dish), florist (Garden Gate) and bar (Sauce) off the list and found them all to be absolute dreams to work with.

We can’t recommend Boconnoc enough and absolutely look forward to coming to stay again in the future.

The Boconnoc Estate was the perfect backdrop for our New Year's Eve wedding festivities for 85 guests. Approximately half of our guests stayed on site. We rented the estate for 3 nights and 4 days (Arrival night, Activity Day, Wedding Day, Brunch & Departure). We are American and most of our guests were American and flew into London. We hired a UK-based wedding planner who worked closely with the Boconnoc team & vendors. The Boconnoc preferred vendors are exceptional. We used Sauce & Fego.

Our wedding guests descended on the estate, and thanks to the incredible staff, felt that they were at home from the moment they arrived. Our experience would not have been what it was without the incredible team supporting us every step of the way. They helped our planning team bring our dreams to life and offered everything from a hot cup of tea, to a big hug, and even tears when we had to return home. From the start of our wedding planning process, our planner insisted that Boconnoc was "the place"-- citing the staff as a large part of the reason it should be at the top of our list for an English wedding venue. She was right.

The perfection we experienced as the bride and groom was the result of hundreds, if not thousands, of little moments carefully orchestrated by the team over our four days at Boconnoc. After the wedding, our family and friends shared vignettes of how the Boconnoc team not only went beyond for us, but also for our loved ones. We were especially thrilled at Boconnoc's ability to transform and accommodate each phase of our wedding festivities (Shown in pictures!) Starting with our arrival, the team greeted us in the salon with smiles and champagne. Despite being tired from the long journey from London, we were all buzzing with excitement, and the team reciprocated that energy, helping us feel so welcome and at ease. Then, there was our "activity day" where our guests revelled in a proper English breakfast, followed by walking tours, deer park safaris, whiskey and cigars, high tea, and general galavanting. Boconnoc was the perfect place, with plenty of room (and rooms!) to provide the quintessential English countryside experience we wanted for our guests. Then, of course, came the wedding day. A perfect day backdropped against the magical stone church and grounds. As we prepared for the day, the team visited frequently, offering breakfast in the bridal suite, bedside coffee, and more. Even in moments that didn't go as planned, the team was cool, calm, and collected, handling any trial or tribulation with grace and professionalism. On the day after, as we shared brunch and gathered our cohort back on the bus to London, we were truly sad to leave. Every guest said they were delighted by the Boconnoc team-- they were an extension of the sense of togetherness, joy, fun, and warmth that we felt being in such a beautiful place with our favorite people.

In short, if you're considering, even for a second, having your Pride and Prejudice meets Bridgerton dream wedding in the English Countryside, The Boconnoc Estate is the place.

Bocconoc was the only wedding venue we visited, and we knew we didn’t need to look any further. The grounds are beautiful, providing everything we wanted for our wedding weekend.
However, what truly sold us on Bocconoc was the people. Catherine, Louise, Liz, and the entire team were amazing from the moment we met them, they were welcoming, helpful, and incredibly kind. They take great pride in the estate, ensuring that you can fully utilize the space in a way that suits your vision and plans. Nothing was too much trouble!
Our weekend was truly memorable and felt very personal, bringing together our roots of Australia, New Zealand and Cornwall. We’ll always be grateful to have gotten married at such a beautiful place, but even more so for the support of such wonderful people. We know we’ll be back to Bocconoc for anniversaries. It’s become a very special place for us.

Wow! We loved Boconnoc the moment we visited it and had very high expectations for the weekend, but these were completely surpassed.

Literally perfect, we used Boconnoc for our wedding this year in July and we couldn’t recommend it enough.

Every single part of the experience was what dreams are made of, the house and grounds are absolutely stunning and kept so immaculately. Catherine and Louise were amazing, they were so so helpful, so accommodating, and brilliant with communication. We’ll forever be grateful for all of their input in making our wedding as perfect as we imagined it to be.

We stayed in the house for a few days before our wedding with just our close family. We then had exclusive use of the house and cottages for the night before and evening of our wedding. We had so many compliments from guests about how stunning their rooms and cottages. We found being able to have so many of our friends and family stay at the venue worked out really well.

We had the most beautiful time and wish we could live it all over again. We can't thank you enough❤️.

I feel incredibly lucky to have got married at Boconnoc almost a year ago! My husband and I wanted an elegant venue but somewhere that people could feel relaxed and at home, and that is exactly what Boconnoc offers. We had seen four other venues before Boconnoc and it stood out by miles and miles.

It’s an exceptionally beautiful estate that has been thoughtfully restored. We hired the entire venue so that a big portion of our guests could stay on-site and it made everything so easy and relaxed. We had all our bridesmaids and their partners (13 in total) stay in the newly-renovated Stewardry and they loved being altogether and had the best time. Staying in the main house felt so luxurious and we felt thoroughly spoilt. We had a party the night before the wedding in the stable block and hired a local pizza van to cater which gave our guests staying on-site the chance to mingle before the wedding. There is so much flexibility with this venue - you really can tailor it exactly how you want. Having the church on-site is an incredibly unique experience and it’s a really beautiful place to get married if you want a church wedding. There are so many beautiful places on the estate to take photos - we were spoilt for choice which definitely wasn’t the case with other venues we had visited.

All of the staff, from the events manager to the on-site manager and housekeeper were incredible. I had a lot of questions and requests, and nothing was too much trouble for them! The staff also included some wonderfully thoughtful touches like providing afternoon tea for us the day before our wedding, which we hadn’t expected. The preferred supplier list is full of incredibly talented and high quality vendors and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more from our wedding venue.

Everyone helped us make memories that will last a lifetime and so many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, which is a huge testament to everyone at Boconnoc. I absolutely adore this place and I love that they hire out the buildings for holiday hire as well, as we definitely want to go back with our family and friends and re-live some of our memories!

Boconnoc for us was our only choice of wedding venue. A hidden gem, we were so excited to have shared such a peaceful and beautiful location with all of our family and friends celebrating our wedding. The staff at Boconnoc are welcoming and kind. They made sure everything went perfectly for our day (even trying their hand at sewing!!). Our wedding photos taken by Victoria Walker in the garden's of Boconnoc are stunning, with the grande trees, the victorian wall and water feature in the Dorothy garden, all of the flowers were blossoming at that time of the year. Victoria said it is a photographers dream to photograph! It was the perfect day for us, the sun shone in a sky of blue, not a cloud insight. Our whole experience was a positive one and I highly recommend Boconnoc for your event or special occasion. The only downside is that I don't get to live there!!! However with their on going events we can visit for our anniversary every year :) We are both excited to visit again for the Boconnoc Flower show next year

We went to Boconnoc House for a wedding. Stunning location and if using the church ( which is lovely) everything on the proverbial door step. The food
was very good and choices much more appealing than you usually expect for a wedding. An amazing house and grounds and certainly as a guest a big recommendation for others if planning their big day.

We got married in April and the day was absolutely perfect! This was largely down to the incredible team at Boconnoc who supported us. They were professional but with a friendly manner which had an impact on all of our family and friends. Since booking the venue Boconnoc could not have been more helpful answering all of our questions. They went above and beyond for us to make it a success. We look forward to visiting more events at Boconnoc in the future!

Boconnoc is simply stunning! I was lucky enough to help plan a wedding at Boconnoc in June and it is just wonderful. The house has been beautifully restored with lovely reception rooms and lots of accommodation for guests. If you are looking for a wedding or event venue I would recommend Boconnoc in a heart beat. We had the whole event within the Stable Block and hired all the rooms within the house and the 3 cottages. This meant we could have the best of both worlds in the sense we had the luxurious accommodation but the rustic and relaxed feel we wanted for our wedding. The estate is breathtaking and has many beautiful walks. The house has been stylishly updated and all the bedrooms are luxurious especially the Kings Bedroom. The 3 cottages are also beautiful, my personal favourite being The Dairy Cottage which we are already talking about having a holiday in. The Stable Block consists of several rooms, a kitchen and a stunning courtyard area. It was perfect for hosting the wedding of our dreams. On top of all of this, the staff at Boconnoc were extremely helpful and tolerant of my endless emails full of questions, especially in the week before the wedding. Once we were on site there was always a member of staff on hand to help with any queries and offering to do things. I never believed I could be so relaxed on my wedding day but Boconnoc with its breathtaking surroundings and wonderful staff made that possible. My husband and I cannot thank them enough for making our magical day happen. Ourselves and our guests are still talking about it constantly

We wanted to thank all the team at Boconnoc for all your help, information, organisation and hard work in the run up to the wedding and throughout our special day. Andy and I managed to spend so much time at Boconnoc in the month before the wedding, and we felt so lucky to be able to do this, especially as we were made to feel so at home there, it was incredibly difficult to leave! This in turn helped make our Wedding Day so perfect, in every way.
I cannot put in to words how fantastic our time at Boconnoc was, just thinking about it brings a tear to my eye, and a lump to my throat, and that was largely thanks to Clare and the team and the beauty of the estate.
Boconnoc is truly a 'magical' place, it's the only word that comes close. We very much look forward to visiting again (and again) and rekindling the special memories of our day on 11th April 2015, as it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We had our wedding at this location on the 30th of May this year. The wonderful experience started when we were shown around by the very lovely owner herself Elizabeth, she was charming and welcoming and had us hooked from day one.

The lead up to the wedding was stressful, however made easier by the help and assistance of Boconnoc staff, where nothing was to much trouble. The relaxed nature of this venue/staff and the service they provided allows you escape into your very own dream ( pride and prejudice!). This venue is truly so very special and delivers a priceless magical experience, which you could never have any where else.

We had unusual requirements due to some sad times with my father in law being very poorly with a terminal illness and this was considered in so many ways with so so much kindness, which words could never describe how grateful we will be.

It was an honour to get married here and meet all the incredible people that work here and the family that own Boconnoc. Clare especially we would like to thank most of all, you worked so hard and we will remember you in our special weekend for many many years to come.

Our daughter and her fiance were married here on July 14th and we could not have had a better venue for the event. The house is stunning and offers a blank canvas for the wedding of your dreams.

We booked the house and the cottages for our family and friends and all were delighted with the facilities, which are both comfortable and impressive.

The reception rooms, which we used for the wedding, are spacious and beautifully decorated in keeping with the period of the house. We had the use of four large reception rooms, so that there was plenty of space for people to chat or dance without encroaching on each other. We dined in the lovely garden room and the bar was set up in a separate room too. The Boconnoc staff arranged tables as we required and were discreetly available as necessary.

The gardens and grounds are equally lovely and again the tables were set up as we requested.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Boconnoc for a wedding or family parties and certainly hope to go there again.
