Built in 1840, Glenmore House is a fine example of late Georgian architecture situated in the heart of Surbiton, Surrey. The surroundings are an exclusive Surbiton conservation area adjacent to Claremont Gardens, a landscaped park providing the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs.
Impressive double gates open to Glenmore’s free private car park, which can safely accommodate up to 110 cars. Every wedding this venue's staff hosts is unique. Their experienced and dedicated Wedding & Events Team will ensure that your special day is one that you will remember forever.
Facilities and Capacities
Glenmore House is licenced for civil ceremonies and can accommodate wedding parties from 25 to 140 guests. Recently refurbished, all of their rooms complement each other perfectly. The bright and airy Tudor Rooms offer an ideal setting for your wedding ceremony, with elegant 16th-century reclaimed cathedral glass windows adding to the sense of occasion.
The fabulous Elizabethan Ballroom comprises a magnificent double-height ballroom featuring sparkling chandeliers, minstrel galleries and a sprung dance floor adjoined by an exclusive, contemporary bar area.

The value for money was exceptional. We had looked at other venues and this one was the best value for money by a mile, plus we didn’t feel as though we missed out on anything. Everything we wanted was catered for. We had the best day and would urge any engaged couples looking for a venue to consider Glenmore House.

Faye Dobbie (general manager) was amazing, she was on hand if we had any questions and organised the day beautifully.
The food was gorgeous all our guests commented on it, even the children’s meals were lovely.
From start to finish everyone enjoyed the day.
It was such good value for money and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a magical day to remember!

Faye and the team were on hand throughout the planning, the lead up and on the day! She even sorted my dress out as I walked up the aisle.
The food was delicious, service was fantastic and everything ran so smoothly!
The drinks pricing is the best around and our guests loved the fact that it was more than affordable!

The co ordination of you and your team was outstanding… everyone says don’t sweat the little things as something always goes wrong but I can honestly say if it did we didn’t notice.
Compliments again the chef, the food was so good and from the feedback on the day and after everyone has said out of all the weddings they have been too the food at a standard they have never had before. Honestly our appreciation for how you handled our day and last minute booking, we don’t know how to thank you enough. You are all amazing, thank you again so so much! We will recommend Glenmore House over and over again.
