Built in 1840, Glenmore House is a fine example of late Georgian architecture situated in the heart of Surbiton, Surrey. The surroundings are an exclusive Surbiton conservation area adjacent to Claremont Gardens, a landscaped park providing the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs.
Impressive double gates open to Glenmore’s free private car park, which can safely accommodate up to 110 cars. Every wedding this venue's staff hosts is unique. Their experienced and dedicated Wedding & Events Team will ensure that your special day is one that you will remember forever.
Facilities and Capacities
Glenmore House is licenced for civil ceremonies and can accommodate wedding parties from 25 to 140 guests. Recently refurbished, all of their rooms complement each other perfectly. The bright and airy Tudor Rooms offer an ideal setting for your wedding ceremony, with elegant 16th-century reclaimed cathedral glass windows adding to the sense of occasion.
The fabulous Elizabethan Ballroom comprises a magnificent double-height ballroom featuring sparkling chandeliers, minstrel galleries and a sprung dance floor adjoined by an exclusive, contemporary bar area.

Wonderful Wedding Experience
From the moment we arrived at Glenmore House for our first viewing, my husband and I fell in love with it. The stunning staircase was the perfect place to realise my childhood dream of a photo with my train flowing down the stairs.
With the beautiful stained glass windows, the wedding room had a majestic feel and had been set out to perfection.
The whole day was seamlessly organised and controlled by Faye and the fantastic team who made sure I, my husband and all of our guests had the most magical experience. I didn't have to worry about a thing!
There is nothing we would have changed. Everything from the food to the decorations to the care and attention of the staff were simply perfect.
We would highly recommend working with Faye to have a stunning venue and a stress free wedding! Thank you!

Brilliant from start to finish!
We cannot rate Faye and her team highly enough! They did everything possible to make our day perfect. The venue is beautiful and the food and service is wonderful. Faye was a dream to work with - her organisation is second to none! All of our guests commented on how great the venue was and we are really thankful we chose Glenmore for our wedding. Thank you for making our day so special.

Best day of my life
The venue was amazing, couldn’t fault the staff, friendly, polite and extremely professional.
Faye Dobbie (general manager) was amazing, she was on hand if we had any questions and organised the day beautifully.
The food was gorgeous all our guests commented on it, even the children’s meals were lovely.
From start to finish everyone enjoyed the day.
It was such good value for money and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a magical day to remember!

Perfect venue and amazing wedding experience
Glenmore House is an amazing venue and so close to Surbiton station which makes easier for people to travel to. Plenty of free parking space and there is a garden direct opposite for pictures opportunity. My husband and I fell in love with this venue and we decided to hold our wedding on 16th September 2023 at the Elizabethan Suite. It was a perfect and amazing wedding experience. Our host Faye and the team were always on hand throughout the day and it the day went so smoothly. They made our day so at ease. Faye was great and so helpful :). The food was excellent and all of my guests were complimentary of the food - thanks to the Chef and the team. It was a perfect wedding experience. Thank you Faye and all the team.

I couldn’t recommend this venue more. Absolutely stunning Elizabethan Suite was what we chose for our ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception.
Faye and the team were on hand throughout the planning, the lead up and on the day! She even sorted my dress out as I walked up the aisle.
The food was delicious, service was fantastic and everything ran so smoothly!
The drinks pricing is the best around and our guests loved the fact that it was more than affordable!
Thank you so much for making our day super special! We want to do it all over again because it was just the best day ever!

Saturday exceeded our expectations in every way! You and your team were amazing and our day was more than perfect in every way.
The co ordination of you and your team was outstanding… everyone says don’t sweat the little things as something always goes wrong but I can honestly say if it did we didn’t notice.
Compliments again the chef, the food was so good and from the feedback on the day and after everyone has said out of all the weddings they have been too the food at a standard they have never had before. Honestly our appreciation for how you handled our day and last minute booking, we don’t know how to thank you enough. You are all amazing, thank you again so so much! We will recommend Glenmore House over and over again.

Perfect venue!
Glenmore House, amazing venue which made our day perfect - Faye could not have done more to make our day everything we wanted and more, always there replying to my millions of questions in the lead up and happy to accommodate multiple visits both before booking & after. All staff we lovely and helpful but another in particular who stood out was Sam, always going out of his way to help us - just like Faye.
We hired the beautiful Ballroom for both our ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception - in between each part of the day the staff worked quickly to re set the room exactly to our liking with all of our decor, taking extra care to make everything just how we wanted it. Faye was keen to listen to all of our ideas and didn’t push us in to the more traditional - we didn’t fancy the sit down three course so we went for a chefs choice buffet and added our own sweet table with sweets and donuts, the price of the food just like the venue overall was brilliant, throughout the wedding planning process the list of payments racks up fast with decor, outfits, transport etc, a lot of places adding on money simply for the fact it is a wedding but Glenmore house is more than worth the money they charge.
Would recommend this venue to everyone, we will be back in the near future to try one of their Sunday carvery’s!

Amazing day
We got married at the end of April. We had the most amazing day the surroundings venue the food couldn’t have asked for a better day .
Huge thanks to Faye who helped get our day off without a hitch . Faye is attentive warm and fully answered any questions we had which made all the difference. Sam who guided us through our tasting menu a lot of options all very tasty and hard to chose from we were given a taste of the coconut sorbet something which we weren’t planning on having but after trying we immediately added to to our wedding breakfast! Sam is great easy to talk to and professional.
If you are looking to get married in the area we highly recommend Glenmore it’s a beautiful venue , good location and great value for money . Our guests loved it .
