Very professional, helpful and friendly service before, during and after the event. We got so many compliments from guests on the choice of venue, the food, the staff. Our day went perfectly thanks to great planning beforehand and management on the day. A wonderful setting for our special day that we would highly recommend, especially as we love the river.

If you are thinking of choosing this venue you won’t regret it. We had our wedding here 3 weeks ago and it was perfect! We had a lovely meal in front of the fireplace the evening before with guests who stayed the night before. We were able to set up some of our own wedding DIY that night, with a lockable room to keep all of the boxes ready to take back after the wedding. The staff were really helpful in the set up and organising where everything could go. We booked a family room where we could get ready next door to each other with an adjoining door, which was brilliant for hair and makeup artists to switch between each rooms. The little barn was gorgeous for the ceremony, we had Gilt edge style the wedding and it was absolutely perfect taking the stress off designing the decor. She knows the venue so well, that it is just a breeze for her, no request was too much. The conservatory was stunning and such a great space for the breakfast and evening, with the bar close it keeps all your guests in the atmosphere meaning the dance floor was never empty! Julieanne our wedding co-ordinator was brilliant in keeping us on track and making sure everything was perfectly in place for the big day. Shelley and the other hotel staff made everything run smoothly on the day, asking about the little details and ensuring flowers/signs/decor were moved and in place wherever it needed to go at different parts of the day. The venue offers a toastmaster and a resident DJ who were absolutely brilliant, they attended to everything we had asked for and were great fun! The grounds and the rooms where we stayed were beautiful - we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was stress free and the staff were on hand to help with anything we needed. All our guests complimented how good the food and how beautiful the venue was, the service provided was brilliant. Everything was set up exactly when it was planned and nothing was stressful on the day. A really professional and fantastic hotel to host weddings.

We had our reception in The Assembly Room in April 2024 and it was an absolutely stunning venue. The town hall staff were friendly and helpful and set up the room exactly how we had envisioned it. The Town Hall exclusively used Elegant Cuisine as their caterers and we were absolutely thrilled with the food and the customer service from start to finish. Bayley and Alison were responsive and easy to contact when we had queries in the planning stages and Bayley and Ellie looked after us brilliantly on the day too. The food was superb and even my mother (who was dubious about our all veggie/vegan menu) was impressed.

We hosted our wedding at the Ashmolean Museum, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The venue itself is stunning and unique, providing a memorable setting that wowed our guests. The staff were always professional, supportive, and flexible – happy to accommodate our specific cultural heritage and special requests. Asia is especially great! From planning to the big day, their positive attitude made coordination stress-free. We highly recommend the Ashmolean Museum for anyone looking for a memorable and beautiful wedding venue!

The team at the Bodleian have been absolutely amazing. They made our dreams come true, holding our wedding ceremony in the beautiful convocation house. Ever since our initial meeting they’ve been fantastic. Anytime we’d email with a question, they’d respond within the day, no question was too much for them. They also went above and beyond when we had trouble with our wedding reception and worked really hard to find ways around accommodating us at such short notice. Everything ran so smoothly on the day, partly due to the rehearsal we’d had a couple of days before, which was incredibly helpful to do! It really was the most beautiful place to hold our ceremony and we’re so thankful to the amazing team!

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you especially and the whole team for making our wedding day on Saturday so special. You set the room up beautifully and the food was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for more and you made the whole process easy and pain free.

We had our wedding here at Foxcombe Hall in July and it was better than we could have imagined. The staff, the location, and all the small details made the day utterly magical from start to finish (the welcome signs, maps, flowers, table settings). Red Kite Love was incredibly flexible and adaptable to mine and my husband's needs and desires which created a really personal wedding day. We LOVE a party, and the staff were in such high spirits. Everything that I was worried about as a bride at Foxcombe Hall was considered and discussed with me at length to ensure it all ran smoothly, and of course it did - we were blown away by your organisation and skill. The food was impeccable, homemade, locally sourced and delicious. They created an entire tailored menu that incorporated mine and my husband's culture for our wedding day and we couldn't fault it. Finally, our friends have all said they have never been to a better wedding. You're all amazing and thank you for the best day of our lives 💗
