Just wanted to say a massive thank you, to Shelby and all the team for all their hard work. Everyone we meet went above and beyond to help us and the chefs were really flexible. The food was absolutely amazing and you get alot for your money!

Our day was amazing, the Greenside barn was beyond what we had hoped for, it looked stunning especially with fairy lights added. Staff on the day were excellent and helped us with golf buggy to ensure we could go out and get some pictures taken, despite the rain. The weather did not ruin the day or the wonderful scenery.

Absolutely wonderful team and venue and thanks to all involved for their hard work 💜 would highly recommend.

As I’ve had almost a year to look back and reflect on our wedding day I thought it about time I do a review. Firstly I just want to say that the venue and grounds itself is gorgeous (although I didn’t see any because of the weather we were unlucky enough to have). We were originally paired up with Shelby who went on maternity leave (congratulations again) and then we were given to someone else, then back to Shelby and then to Ellie, so this was a bit unfortunate as I felt as if we were being passed around a bit in a very short amount of time, but once we met with Ellie she definitely eased any concerns we had. We paid to have an outdoor ceremony but unfortunately the evening before our wedding it absolutely poured down with rain and it didn’t really stop until about half way through our wedding day, but this didn’t stop Ellie and the team making sure everything looked as perfect as possible inside for us and I was so happy with how beautiful it looked.

We held our reception in the Greenside barn because as soon as we laid eyes on it we knew it was perfect for us and it was really well priced for how stunning it is. We dropped all our decorations down the day before the wedding and Ellie told it would all be dealt with on the morning of the wedding so we didn’t need to worry, myself and a couple others came and sorted out most of the big items such as flower arches, sweet carts, guest book etc the morning of as I wanted to make sure things were in the correct places and left the decorating of tables and a few other bits to the venue. When we arrived later on in the day the staff had done an amazing job setting up the tables and decorations with just a few things that needed sorting out. We opted for pizza as our wedding breakfast and I was told by guests this was great so no complaints there!

Now just a few things that I have thought over the last 12 months and have bothered me slightly. Although the room was decorated beautifully there were a few basic things missing that luckily my mum caught on before I did, my cake plates which were displayed with my cakes weren’t unwrapped and displayed properly, my fairy lights weren’t on and candles weren’t lit and a few bits and pieces were put in the wrong places (not the end of the world). When we came to the cake cutting the DJ started playing our song and when got over to the cake we realised a knife or any plates (don’t know if this is the norm) hadn’t been left for us and Ellie had gone home by this point so we had to find a member of staff to find a knife for us. Another thing was our evening food came out a bit later than we had planned and as we were married on a Sunday I knew guests would leave earlier so I think a lot of this food I paid for went to waste as when it was finally out a lot of guests had started to leave. My husband was also told with our package he would receive a round of golf for him and 3 others but this was never mentioned again after the wedding as the last piece of communication I received from the wedding was the day of, no follow up email, nothing to ask how we found our day, nothing. I found this really odd as communication had been really good up until that point and as I was in my wedding bubble I hadn’t wanted to pick apart the little things about the day. My maid of honour came and collected my things for me the next day and as a lot of my glass vases and candle sticks had been chucked back in my boxes, a few did come back to me broken, but again I hadn’t wanted to sit and complain and find the negatives on an otherwise pretty perfect day. Now it’s been a year, I look back on the day as a whole as the most beautiful day and stunning venue and we can’t wait to visit on anniversaries for years to come.

We really cannot fault Ellie or any of the amazing team at East Horton. The whole day ran so smoothly thanks to everyone's work behind the scenes. Ellie was always available to reach out to over email and guided us through the whole wedding planning process. On our wedding day the staff were so friendly, they were always on top of everything, putting misplaced items like my veil and bouquet in safe places, and we're so wonderful with all the children we had there.

The venue itself was absolutely stunning and the turn around was done so efficiently between the ceremony, the breakfast and the reception. We had so many comments from people saying they couldn't believe it was all in the same room as it had been turned around so well.

Finally, the food! I think every single guest commented on the food at some point. The canapes, wedding breakfast and evening buffet were all incredible. Much better than your standard buffet food and the staff were incredible at making sure every dish stayed topped up.

We really had the most amazing wedding day at East Horton and I highly recommend this venue to anybody looking for a well priced, beautiful venue with staff who will help make your day magic.

I truly cannot recommend this place highly enough. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the staff were nothing short of incredible! polite, kind, and professional throughout.

We had the most wonderful day, and it simply wouldn’t have been the same without the team at East Horton. We received so many compliments on the food, the service, and the venue itself. Everything was perfect.

The pricing was also fantastic for everything that was included, which made the experience even more special. We are so grateful to everyone involved for creating such a beautiful, memorable day for us.

We will absolutely be returning for lunches, to walk the grounds, and to relive the wonderful memories of such a perfect place. Thank you all again 🤍

We had our Wedding at East Horton in November and it's the perfect setting.

From the moment we went to see the venue Shelby was absolutely brilliant, showing us the ins and outs and talking us through the package.

As the months went on she didn't miss a trick, and with each and every passing day was always on hand if we had a question. When the big day came, Shelby and Ellie worked tirelessly to make sure everything flowed and everything was set up just like we asked. We couldn't pick out a single flaw in our day and can't thank the team enough.

We cannot recommend East Horton enough. We had our dream ceremony outside and our reception in the Greenside bar. It was everything we could have dreamed for.

They are professional, caring, considerate and cater to every need.

East Horton was a fantastic venue for our wedding from start to finish. We didn't have a huge budget and it didn't affect how we were treated or the planning and the venue was so flexible and accommodating. The venue suited our wedding theme and was comfortable for all our guests with stunning scenery and the feeling of being in the middle of the countryside.
Shelby, especially was so beyond helpful and amazing and the team were great throughout the day and night.

From start to finish, our wedding day went seamlessly. The outdoor ceremony was the most beautiful setting and then we got the chance to use golf buggies to get pictures in the scenic surroundings of the woodlands on the outskirts of the golf course. The food, hospitality and venue was exceptional and made our day so special 🤍🤍🤍

The moment we saw the grounds and Greenwood room at East Horton, we knew it was perfect place for us to get married. From booking, right up until our wedding day, both Shelby and Ellie were there to help us plan our special day exactly as we wanted it. Their attention to detail was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for them. Great communication, regular updates along the way, we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planning team. On the day, they did the set up of our ceremony and tables exactly how we wanted them, taking the stress off of us. The food and service on the day was exceptional, and had lots of great comments from our guests. We’re so pleased we picked East Horton for our wedding and can’t thank the team/venue enough.

Would absolutely recommend East Horton to anyone! The grounds are stunning, the food excellent, and the flexibility to make the day our own was hands down the best thing about them. Nothing was too much trouble and our day ran so smoothly and perfectly. The coordinators are lovely, we worked with Taura initially and then Ellie when Taura changed roles and the handover was super smooth and communication excellent! We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and even had our dog as our ring bearer! We cannot thank East Horton enough for making our day so special!

We got married on 15th March 2025. From viewing East Horton right through to our wedding day we had the best experience. Nothing was too much trouble and we had all our questions answered by Shelby and Ellie. On the day the service was exceptional by Ellie and the rest of the team. Last minute changes were catered for and they were so flexible to cater for our needs. The food was outstanding and a few of our guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We couldn’t recommend East Horton highly enough and we are so glad we chose to have our wedding here. Beautiful venue and stunning grounds for photos. Thank you all so much!

The venue is beautiful and met all of our needs to be local and also fit the amount of guests we needed. We had been looking at barn weddings but struggling to find somewhere local. East Horton offered the barn aspect for the venue but also the space and flexibility we needed in a venue.

The food options were brilliant and we loved the choice of a sit down meal or a buffet style meal. Our wedding coordinator Ellie was brilliant, she met with us prior to the wedding and responded quickly to emails. Ellie set up the decor for our ceremony and wedding breakfast and we were both so impressed with how beautiful it looked!

We loved the chance of going out on the golf buggy too, we couldn’t go on the course as it was too wet but we were allowed to go along the road in the venue grounds which was still fun!

We celebrated our wedding at East Horton Golf Club in September 2024, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, Taura and the team went above and beyond to make our day perfect. They were always quick to respond to any questions and provided reassurance during our many meetings leading up to the wedding, ensuring we felt completely at ease.

On the big day, everything ran seamlessly. As the bride, I was able to relax and fully enjoy the day, knowing that Taura and her team had every detail under control. They even adapted the schedule due to some unexpected rain and kindly assisted my elderly grandma.

The food was fantastic! The portions were generous, and the canapés, in particular, were a standout. The flexibility we had in personalizing the day made it feel even more special and unique to us.
