Hotel Wedding Venues in Cheshire

We had our wedding in July 24 after booking the venue in the April. Kate was fantastic throughout, from initial viewings (I went twice each with a different bridesmaid) through to the morning after. She made sure the day was perfect and even better than what we could have imagined. We had a smaller wedding for during the day (45a 10c) (we didn't hold the ceremony at the venue as this had been booked elsewhere previously) and the room was set up for the breakfast perfectly for us, enclosing part of the room to allow a secondary entrance for us (and a place for the kids to let off some steam during the speeches with the adults needing to worry about them running off as they were still within the room), the room change over was managed perfectly so once we returned form our couples photos, taken on the grounds, the party was already underway. Kate was very communicative and tailored the package to suit our wants, even on the morning of the wedding when my husband decided to add elements to the package. The food was amazing. We opted for the melon, chicken dinner and cheesecake for the wedding breakfast and everyone commented on how nice the food was, the chicken was lovely and juicy and flavoured perfectly. We unfortunately missed the evening buffet but have been told how lovely this was too, we did have pizzas the night before and loved the selection available. We were also so fortunate to be one of the first wedding to utilise the 'Bridal Dressing Room' which was available for us from the evening before through to the morning after (I stayed the night before with both bridesmaids, their families and my MIL) meaning we could ensure all the dresses were wedding day ready with plenty of space for us all to get made up and our hair done and it also gave us newly weds a space to quickly freshen up once arriving back from the ceremony prior to checking into the complimentary bridal suite later in the evening. All the staff were so accommodating and welcoming, especially Kate, and we would say, hand on heart, our day could not have been in better hands and honestly do not think our day could have gone as smoothly or as well anywhere else.

Was a lovely service, the staff were very nice and professional and made us feel at ease. Would definitely recommend. The grounds are beautiful and hall is beautiful too

Probably 1 of the easiest reviews to write, we celebrated our wedding here on Friday 26th June, booking and planning started in 2023, Ryan took over as co-ordinator in early 2024 and he has been incredible from the day we met. Nothing was too much, he went above and beyond in every manner, you turned my visions into everything I imagined! seeing how I imagined it was just the warmest feeling ever. Other mentions, the rest of the wedding team, Jessica thank you for being so helpful! Sophie - you were fantastic so thorough, polite and a great host. Brego, Akshay, the 2 brothers (sorry bad memory) and all other F&B staff were amazing on the Thursday, Friday & Saturday! All guests have complimented ALL staff from housekeeping, reception F&B! You all made our day so perfect, it was a dream come true and if the only thing that goes wrong on your day is Grans train being cancelled and holding up the ceremony then just goes to show what a good team that you have! We will forever be grateful for the day you all gave us!!! Thank You!

After attending a wedding open day at The Rookery, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for our big day. Throughout the planning process we dealt with Emma, Leanne and Lauren and they were absolutely amazing in helping us make sure everything was planned and responded to any queries we had quickly! On the day Daisy and Kieran were brilliant in ensuring everything was in place and making sure we knew what was going on and where we needed to be! Them and their entire team worked so hard throughout the day making sure everything ran smoothly, that it allowed us to have such a relaxed day. All our guests had a fantastic time and all said how stunning the grounds are and how professional and polite every single member of staff was that they interacted with. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone and they made us all feel so welcome and special throughout the few days we were there. Between you all you have given us a truly amazing and unforgettable wedding day and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stunning venue with the most amazing staff.

Nunsmere Hall was everything we could have dreamed of and more for our wedding venue. From the moment we booked over two years in advance right through to the final details, the entire experience was exceptional. Hannah was fantastic throughout the planning process, always on hand to help and ensuring everything came together perfectly. On our wedding day, Joel and the rest of the staff at Nunsmere were absolutely outstanding. They made us and all of our guests feel like royalty, and thanks to their attention to detail and professionalism, the entire day and evening ran seamlessly.

From the day we went to view the venue to the day we walked down the aisle we have felt nothing but magic, professionalism and nothing has ever been too much trouble. The venue is absolutely stunning the food is incredible and the rooms are so comfortable. We had a wedding organiser called Wendy and what a very special lady she is and i will Miss her dearly now that our wedding is over. She has been nothing but amazing and has made the entire process of organising a wedding so easy for me I couldn’t have done any of it without her! The day of our wedding she came to see me and to make sure she was available for anything I needed on the day, the staff at the hotel were fabulous! All polite & friendly and keen to assist with anything we needed. The master of ceremonies was an absolute gentleman and was so patient with me when anxiety kicked in he was so calm and patient he made everything so easy. Everything I wanted Wendy sorted it, if they didn’t have it they sourced it all while still running a normal functioning hotel and being busy. We have stayed at this hotel many times and each and every time the professionalism has always remained the same they are all fabulous and they all go above and beyond to make each and every stay delightful. For me the venue was a huge part of our day and what a day it was! I would highly recommend the venue, the team and the food in a heart beat because they are all on a league of their own and your wedding day will be nothing short of perfection. We have memories that will last a life time and this includes. Everybody who took part to make our day just perfect

From the moment we booked them, the staff were absolutely amazing, they were so detailed and catered to our every need! They looked after and cared for us so well, the food was amazing, the staff, the venue, the thought and care gone into every tiny detail was perfect and I cannot thank them enough for making our day perfect!!

We had our wedding last week at De Vere Cranage Estate. We really did have the best day ever, made possible by the team at Cranage. They went out of their way to help us organise the day and ensure it ran seamlessly. Everything was perfect - the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening reception. We are so pleased we had our wedding there and would recommend the venue to anyone!
