Hotel Wedding Venues in Cheshire

Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish! All of the staff at this hotel are incredible and so helpful! Ryan made the planning process so easy and stress free and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who worked the day. All of my guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and the rooms were so clean

We had our wedding in July 24 after booking the venue in the April. Kate was fantastic throughout, from initial viewings (I went twice each with a different bridesmaid) through to the morning after. She made sure the day was perfect and even better than what we could have imagined. We had a smaller wedding for during the day (45a 10c) (we didn't hold the ceremony at the venue as this had been booked elsewhere previously) and the room was set up for the breakfast perfectly for us, enclosing part of the room to allow a secondary entrance for us (and a place for the kids to let off some steam during the speeches with the adults needing to worry about them running off as they were still within the room), the room change over was managed perfectly so once we returned form our couples photos, taken on the grounds, the party was already underway. Kate was very communicative and tailored the package to suit our wants, even on the morning of the wedding when my husband decided to add elements to the package. The food was amazing. We opted for the melon, chicken dinner and cheesecake for the wedding breakfast and everyone commented on how nice the food was, the chicken was lovely and juicy and flavoured perfectly. We unfortunately missed the evening buffet but have been told how lovely this was too, we did have pizzas the night before and loved the selection available. We were also so fortunate to be one of the first wedding to utilise the 'Bridal Dressing Room' which was available for us from the evening before through to the morning after (I stayed the night before with both bridesmaids, their families and my MIL) meaning we could ensure all the dresses were wedding day ready with plenty of space for us all to get made up and our hair done and it also gave us newly weds a space to quickly freshen up once arriving back from the ceremony prior to checking into the complimentary bridal suite later in the evening. All the staff were so accommodating and welcoming, especially Kate, and we would say, hand on heart, our day could not have been in better hands and honestly do not think our day could have gone as smoothly or as well anywhere else.

In the opinion of myself and Lauren, the whole day, venue, staff and everything inbetween was everything we could have ever dreamed of, the vendors we hired were all fantastic. Angela and Rebecca were the 2 names I remembered who stood out and made everything absolutely perfect. The only downside to the whole day was our guests all mentioned that they all paid different prices for virtually the same rooms with one guest paying nearly £250 for 1 room for 2 nights whereas another guest only paid roughly £150 for 1 room for 2 nights. Some guests fed back that rooms were not the best with the sofa beds being broken, there not being enough room for 3 people in a “family room”. None of this was a problem for Lauren and I but just minor faults fed back from guests.

We chose Grosvenor pulford as our wedding venue as it was so pretty and also close to a church. I spoke to Emma the wedding coordinator throughout the whole 2 years of planning the wedding and she was always happy to help and get me any information that I needed. The rest of the staff were amazing too. We had Alastair and Rose helping on the wedding day, they were an amazing team and made sure everything ran smoothly. Family and friends still talk about how amazing our wedding was 6 weeks later. Couldn’t of asked for a better day or a better venue.

Nothing was very too much for Rookery! You get a dedicated wedding coordinator right from when you book which meant we had the same person helping plan our special day. This really made things easier for us. The venue itself is stunning. We were lucky enough to be able to get married on the grounds which was the perfect setting. Having a venue with rooms for our guest was really important to us because we had guests travelling from Canada and they all loved their rooms. The food was also incredible. Rookery really worked with us to make the perfect menu for our day. I still get compliments on our food, over a year later.

Thank you so much to Nicole and the Nunsmere team for making our wedding day on Saturday 25th October so special! The hall itself and the rooms were all lovely and our guests all had a great time. The food at our wedding was delicious and everyone was catered for. Our guests were raving about how tender the beef was. We have some amazing photos taking from in and around the grounds that we cherish forever. Nicole and the wedding team helped us every step of the way and on the day Alice was brilliant and helped everything run smoothly. We highly recommend Nunsmere Hall from just having a meal and overstay to having a spectacular wedding.

Turner wedding We had our wedding here and it was amazing from start to finish Wendy our planner was excellent and everything I wanted she fulfilled George our master of ceremonies was honestly one the most kindest men I’ve ever met we had a hiccup and he made me feel at ease and dealt with it with my daughters. The venue is stunning and intimate and cannot recommend this place enough. ❤️❤️

It is a gorgeous hotel with history, the perfect location for our wedding. With only 7 months to plan our wedding Lyndsey and Georgia helped us bring our wedding vision to life. They gave us confidence with planning our wedding, fantastic at answering my list of questions and offered flexible options to ensure that our wedding day is special to us. On the actual wedding day, the Mere Court Team did a fantastic job making sure everything went smoothly across the day. Our wedding guests complimented on how pretty the venue is and the food they provided us on the day (we decided to have Hog roast instead of a traditional sit down wedding breakfast and greek gyros in the evening). Our guests have also said they liked how the rooms in the hotel were traditional and elegant. If you are looking to have your ceremony and reception in one place, I would recommend Mere Court Hotel. We had our wedding at Cottons Hotel and Spa, and I genuinely can’t thank them enough for everything they did to make our day so special. From the very beginning, Charlotte was incredibly supportive - always available, always kind and patient when I was asking a million questions and updating our requirements, nothing was ever too much trouble. Her help throughout the planning process made everything feel smooth and stress-free. We met Mark on the Friday before our wedding on the Saturday and I’m not sure he went home from that point onwards. He stepped in calmly, ran the show and I didn’t have to think twice about anything from that moment on. I couldn’t tell you if everything went to plan because I honestly think Charlotte, Mark and the team just dealt with everything that came their way and allowed us to enjoy the experience. The venue looked stunning, the team was on top of every detail, and their calm, professional approach meant we could just relax and enjoy every moment. Charlotte, Mark and everyone behind the scenes were a dream to work with - thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect for us. We felt so cared for and supported, and we’ll always be grateful for their part in such a memorable celebration.
