Like something out of a fairytale

We could never say thank you enough to the team at Oddfellows. From the second we viewed the venue, we were treated with care and kindness. Every detail we had envisioned came to life. The team on the day were exceptional; our guests had the most magical time. We can’t stop reliving the day, and want to do it all again.

Magical wedding venue

We were after somewhere that was a bit quirky and that sowed our personalities. Oddfellows was just the place for our wedding. So many little oddities hidden around!
From the offset nothing was too much trouble. The team were always happy to answer our questions and provide reassurance throughout.
On the day of our wedding, the staff could not do enough! They did absolutely everything possible to make sure our day ran smoothly and perfectly.
They helped us to feel so at ease when the wedding nerves were getting the best of us.
We would 100% recommend Oddfellows to anyone who is after a wedding venue that is a little different.

Outstanding!

We had a fantastic wedding at Oddfellows on an early May Day bank holiday. The wedding co-ordination leading up to the day was really helpful with Oana, the wedding co-ordinates super lovely and helpful with hints and tips.
On the wedding weekend the team were second to none! They went over and above for us and calmed any bridal jitters! We also had a birthday cake to bring out - just to add to the complexity and they were excellent in getting it out just at the right time:
All our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and how fantastic all the staff were. Highly recommend this lovely venue and team!

Excellent wedding venue

We loved our wedding at Oddfellows, we felt really supported during the planning of the day and they were so flexible around what we wanted. On the day we had amazing staff looking after us and everything went off without a hitch, the venue looked fantastic and we thought it was great value for the quality of the rooms, hotel and what is included, the food was delicious too.

Wedding of dreams

We decided back in November to have a smaller wedding in January with 32 people. Oddfellows could not have been more acomodating from start to finish. They made the room look amazing, no request was too much trouble. They came back to us so quickly which made planning enjoyable rather than stressful. Every single person that came to the wedding has commented on how lovely it was, the facilities were great and the food was outstanding.

Big shout out to all the staff, who were so lovely before the ceremony and on the day and really made those staying over feel welcome (including my elderly grandparents)

Oddfellows will always have a special place in our hearts

We can't thank Oddfellows Chester enough for hosting the most amazing wedding day for us and our guests.

From the initial booking up until the day itself, Oana and Rebecca were both fantastic and nothing was ever too much.

We've been told by many of our guests that our drinks reception was the best they've ever been to, everyone was up dancing and having an absolute ball which is exactly what we wanted.

The food was amazing and there was plenty of variety for us to choose from during our menu tasting which was a lovely addition to the wedding package.

Overall, we just want to thank Oddfellows for creating such a special day for us and helping us make memories which will last a lifetime.

For anyone who wants a less traditional venue and something unique, Oddfellows is definitely the venue for you!

Awesome place for a party

We wanted a really casual wedding that felt a lot more like a party than the standard wedding type day, and Oddfellows was key to this.
Firstly, the rooms you hire offer two different things. The bar area has lots of seating and an open and relaxed feel, with lots of space for a band, dancing, tables for cake, card things, etc, and an outdoor terrance for smokers or to cool down after dancing all night. The other room has more of a traditional wedding type feel with a dance floor, set out tables and chairs to eat and, etc.
We also utilised large landing space to serve the food, but more importantly had a large sofa and TV so people could watch the Rugby World Cup!!
With these three different areas all offering something different, there was something for everyone and if you wanted to chill, chat or dance it gave the option for all.
When planning the wedding the events team at Oddfellows were honestly amazing. Everything was thought of before hand, with a high level of communication at all times. Also on the night the team working were brilliant and the guests commented how great they were.
The space is safe for children and no one who wasn’t part of the wedding wondered in, which I have seen happen at weddings in other locations that have public bars in.
We would highly recommend Oddfellows and look forward to returning

A dream come true

We were so glad we chose oddfellows as our venue for our wedding, it was the perfect mix of quirky, modern yet still felt like a romantic wedding venue. All the staff were friendly, atrentive and no request was ever too much. All our guests commented on how amazing the food, the staff and the venue were.if I could give them 10 stars I would. They made our special day even more special! Thanks oddfellows!
