Where do we even begin? Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and that was for sure in part because of the incredible Lost Gardens of Heligan! From the moment we visited the venue (by chance!) we knew it was the one. Plenty of choice for ceremony and reception areas, beautiful sprawling grounds, a commitment to high quality and local food, and a team who go above and beyond to help you plan and deliver the day of your dreams. Louise and her team are fantastic. We were surprised at just how much they offered, and how flexible they were. We think that they could better advertise just how much they offer to couples - we weren't expecting them to make our stationery, support with dressing the reception area, etc. The value for money is excellent. The food was top tier! Weddings are already so wasteful, and local grown food was a priority for us. 85% of the food they sell and make is grown on site - and you can tell! Beautiful seasonal produce, well cooked and presented. The Cornish touches were amazing. The whole day had a very relaxed, Cornish vibe, and the pasties at the end of the night were a real hit. :) The bride's brother has autism and epilepsy. Louise and her team were very supportive in the lead-up to and on the day, offering spaces for him to go to decompress and keeping an eye on him. Thank you. We loved our wedding at Heligan, and 110% recommend it for any couple who want a relaxed venue, with local Cornish produce, a supportive coordination team, and beautiful grounds. It's a day we will never forget. 🤍

Where to begin ! We got married on the 24th of July and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Laraine and her husband are the most kind and attentive people and truly made our day perfect. The planning process was easy and stress free, they made sure not only our wants and needs were met but our friends and family too. The day was everything we could have ever wanted!

We had our wedding at Mount Pleasant Eco Park and I couldn’t recommend it enough! The site is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our wedding day. Very relaxed vibes but can be tailored to be as formal as is appropriate for you. All of the staff were amazing on the day and the Wedding Manager, Sarah was so helpful in the planning stages and really enabled the day to proceed without any issues. We had a lot of freedom to decorate which made the day very special to us and had the barn, atrium, courtyard and amphitheatre to ourselves which are all beautiful spaces. The food from the Canteen was amazing and all vegan which some of our guests were pleasantly surprised by! The day was completely amazing and we are very grateful to the team at Mount Pleasant for helping us achieve our dream wedding!

Where do we even begin…we cannot thank Perla & Jo enough! Frieda and the Moon really is a special place! Such a unique wedding venue, intimate and set in the most beautiful surroundings. If you want a small, intimate wedding, with bit of added quirkiness, then this is the place, from the on site accommodation, which we would highly recommend, to The Studio, nothing was ever too much trouble for Perla & Jo. The Tabernacle and Observatory have everything you need for a few nights…so cosy and comfortable with the added bonus of the hot tubs! Our little Pug certainly enjoyed herself! The bell tent that was set up for extended family was perfect too, along with great facilities that the kids loved. The wedding day was perfect…The Studio is beautiful, food delicious and Perla & Jo just let you get on to enjoy your day, but are always on hand if you need anything. This just helps you and your guests feel more relaxed. The fire pit is a nice added addition to relax after the sun goes down, with some toasted marshmallows. We honestly have the best memories to last a lifetime, and the family are still talking about it now! It was really hard to leave, as the place is truly wonderful, I think the family who stayed on site with us would have stayed for longer if they could! We can’t wait to return! We considered a number of venues but instantly knew the James Turrell Skyspace was the perfect venue for our wedding – as we both come from creative backgrounds we loved the idea of bringing our friends and family together in this beautiful and very unique setting. The planning was made so easy by the team at Tremenheere and we felt free to plan our day the way we wanted it to be. Many of our 50 guests had never visited Tremenheere before, everyone was blown away by it and we all had a wonderful time exploring the gardens, taking amazing photographs and enjoying a celebratory drink following the ceremony.

We had our wedding reception here on the 14th June 2025, we loved every moment the venue provided such lovely scenery for photos and all of our guests also commented on how beautiful it was!! The lake has a pathway all around so we were able to enjoy that too. Mel and Tom were so accommodating, great communication and organisation from booking to the day itself. Nothing seemed to much trouble, we would highly recommend this venue ! Thanks Again The new Mr and Mrs Young! 💕

The hotel had lovely gardens for phtos with the beach opposite. The manager and staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. Mother and father were upgraded to a good room with beautiful view over the sea.

Thanks to the team at Chy-an-Albany our wedding day was fantastic. From the moment we popped in for a look to see what the hotel was like while enjoying a well deserved break in a cottage down by the harbour we were made to feel special. Paul, the Manager was great and full of helpful advise and assistance and throughout all our preparations he was there for us. The folder full of information he gave us on that first visit was very helpful, my only complaint was the choice of food - it was so good I didn''t know what to choose, we wanted it all, totally spoilt for choice!! The day was really special, full of memories and even the sun shone all day. I must mention Ellen the Restaurant Manager who was wonderful and there for us throughout the day and then again on the Sunday morning at that special breakfast we shared with all our family and friends who had stayed at the hotel on the night of our wedding. If your looking for a really special venue for your wedding where you''ll be looked after and where nothing is too much trouble then I totally recommend Chy-an-Albany Hotel, St Ives.

It was absolutely the best venue for our wedding. We and the guests were in awe every moment of day. We were genuinely told that it was "the best wedding ever" (we agree) and I put that solely down to the outstanding beauty of the place and the oversight of Lisa and Tony. They helped everything run so smoothly, despite my (rather too) laid back manner to wedding planning and some slight hitches that could easily have disrupted other weddings. They oversaw everything and they managed to blend into the background and yet simultaneously be recognised by the guests for what an amazing job they did. I would 100% recommend them to anyone, they were so accommodating, knowledgeable and adaptable and I would choose them again in a heartbeat. All this and I've barely touched on the sheer, awesome magnitude of the beauty of the venue! Pictures really don't do it justice. Beyond perfect.
