From the first day we viewed the Alverton, the staff were attentive, helpful and informative. No question was too silly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The regular check ins were fantastic, and it just made everything SO easy. On the day, the team were just phenomenal - from the morning check in, room service, through to the ceremony and dinner service, absolutely everything was covered and flawlessly handled. If anything went wrong, we had no clue! We can’t thank the Alverton enough, and we truly cannot speak highly enough of them.

From the very moment we stepped foot in the Barn, we knew this was our wedding venue. We felt at ease straight away and nothing was too much trouble, all of the staff were so helpful and friendly, this carried on from the first meeting to the wedding day, they really are with you every step of the way. Emily listened to what we wanted and made it happen, we were able to discuss costs openly and any other questions we had at the time (and via email!) We could not have picked a better venue, the staff were impeccable and so welcoming, friendly and approachable. We would recommend The Barn at Pengelly to anyone, they created our dream wedding.

From the moment we first visited the Nancarrow to the final moments of our celebration, the Nancarrow team made the entire experience feel seamless, welcoming and unforgettable. And the food was unbelievable!! The venue looked absolutely beautiful and so many of our guests commented on how perfect everything was. We truly appreciated the professionalism but also the relaxed vibes! Knowing we were in such capable hands allowed us to relax and fully enjoy every moment. If you are considering this venue get it booked honestly it will be the wedding of your dreams, with the dream team!

There are no words to describe what an amazing team and venue Anchor Barrow is. We got married in April and turned up to gale force winds and downpours but the team still managed to make our whole weekend special. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was out of this world (people are still talking about it 8 months on!) and the cocktails were gorgeous. If you're looking for a beautiful, relaxed wedding there is nowhere better. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
