In the stunning southwest of England, Cornwall is a county with a lot to offer, starting with its landscape. At the foot of the country, this region is immersed in natural beauty, with cliffs, coastlines, and countryside scenery to gaze upon. Cornwall features many historic castles, with some of these opening their gates to you and your love to celebrate a grand wedding. Whether you envision an intimate elopement with just your beloved or are planning an extravagant jubilation fit for royalty, the castle wedding venues here are available to host events of various capacities.

An Incredible Vista

With a small number of these venues situated in Cornwall, you can plan a wedding that truly stands out from the rest. Due to their remote locations, some of these spaces even offer overnight accommodation so you and your guests can revel in the opulence of the experience, even after the last dance of the reception.

Not only will your day be unique from the typical wedding, you are sure to be left with an album of photos that looks like it’s been plucked straight from a fairytale book. Lush land as far as the eye can see, rolling waves, and tranquil waters can be the perfect backdrop to your images, capturing not only your beauty, but also that of the land around you.

We got married in Tregenna October 2026. We went with the Princess package as it suited our price range and number of guests as well as provided want we wanted from our wedding. There are multiple packages to choose from with all different price ranges The staff were incredibly at Tregenna they were attentive and very helpful every step of the way through the process. We had contact with Harriet the wedding coordination a handful of time via email and each time we received a quick response which helped with a smooth planning process. We requested a few menu changes which were dealt with without issues they were happy to accommodate the changes and they also dealt with the dietary needs a handful of our guests had. Throughout our wedding day Harriet frequently checked in on us to ensure that we were happy and if anything was needed. We had a meeting with her the day prior to our wedding which helps us to understand the timeline of the day. The Toast master was an absolute blast he was so attentive and ensured that everything was what we wanted and if we were missing anything he worked so hard to sort it efficiently. He was certainly a highlight of the day! The venue itself is beautiful with plenty of photo opportunities and even though it was still open to the public with other guests staying at the hotel you would not of known this during our day. I cannot thank the organisers and tregenna castle enough for helping us have our special day. I would highly recommend Tregenna castle to anyone who was looking to get married in Cornwall! Thank you so much Tregenna, we look forward to returning one day as a now married couple.
