I switched wedding planners quite a bit in the process but the team at the resort gave myself and Matt a lovely wedding day and added lovely touches. Lots of planning with Lana and key details covered. It would be nice if the bridal suite was included with the package and the hotel accommodated this more to the bride. The rooms were quite hot as it was a heat wave but some key transitions of moving items across to rooms could of been smoother. The venue, food, drink and atmosphere was amazing. The venue was good value and we had the most memorable day with our family and friends. The hotel hosted our local Cornish by the sea wedding to a very high standard and accommodated requests made.

Polhawn Fort is quite simply the most fantastic place. It holds a very special place in our hearts, having been where we were married back in 1995, and returning 30 years later to celebrate our anniversary there was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely brilliant — always on hand, offering instant attention and support, and making everything feel effortless. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine care made the whole celebration run seamlessly and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. Polhawn Fort is more than just a venue; it’s a place filled with meaning, history and love, and that feeling was just as powerful 30 years on. To be able to return and celebrate such a milestone anniversary, surrounded by loved ones and so many memories, was a privilege we’ll always treasure. Polhawn Fort continues to be a living part of our story, and we cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable place to celebrate love.

Got married on 29th November and our Lusty Glaze wedding was beyond spectacular. It was everything that we wanted it to be... and more. We honestly wouldn't change a single thing. To be in that glorious setting, surrounded by the people we love, was just fabulous. The staff at Lusty are wonderful, every single one of them. Our guests keep raving on about how lovely ALL the staff were, how delicious the carvery was and about the beauty of the venue, of course. We had the winter wedding package with up to 60 day guests. The food was a two meat carvery and it was outstanding. Amazing photo opportunities and the wedding planning team were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and their communication was always quick, throughout the year of organising. Highly recommend Lusty Glaze.

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than Surfside in Polzeath for our wedding. From start to finish, everything was just incredible. The setting itself is absolutely stunning, right on the beach, creating the most relaxed and beautiful atmosphere for our day. But what truly made it unforgettable was the team behind it all. Claire was amazing from the very beginning—so organised, supportive, and genuinely invested in making our day exactly how we wanted it. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made the whole process feel so easy and enjoyable. On the day itself, the whole team were just brilliant. They worked so hard behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their calm, friendly approach meant we could completely relax and enjoy every moment. The entire staff team were attentive, professional, and so warm with all of our guests. So many people commented on how incredible the venue and team were, and we couldn’t agree more. Andy provided the most amazing roast dinner for us and our guests. We have had great feedback on the food, with one guest asking if I could get his cauliflower cheese recipe! If you’re considering Surfside for your wedding, don’t hesitate—you’ll be in the best hands. We held our wedding in St Ives as it holds a very special place in our lives. We have been coming to St Ives for over 35 years. We chose the Guildhall for the ceremony and were delighted with the great communication and support from Jen, talking through things was a great help and even helped with dressing the Chamber room on the day itself. We held our reception at the wonderful Porthgwidden Beach Cafe, where the amazing Will and his team gave us the perfect reception from start to finish. He took my ideas of a simple wedding and executed it above and beyond our expectations. Food was amazing and the view in the background of beach and sea married into our vision. A wonderful day thank you everyone St ives in our hearts Kathryn and Mark 💕💕💕

Getting married here was exactly what we’d hoped. An intimate venue with a beautiful backdrop. The venue was very flexible in allowing us to source our own vendors and celebrant. It really was a perfect day, and Jen is super approachable and easy to work with! Thank you!

We found this venue quite by chance on our coastal walk whilst on holiday in Porthleven in July 2020, looked them up and couldn’t quite believe our eyes at how stunningly beautiful Beacon Crag was both inside the house and the views outside . The following year we popped along to see Sam and get an idea of our ceremony options , we just wanted something low key , elopement wedding , somewhere special to us ( Porthleven) Sam was so helpful and understanding right from the start even sourced some flower towers very last minute for us and gave us contact details for a photographer also a very last minute decision on our part . Our day was just perfect, everything ran smoothly, chilled and relaxed just the two of us with our 4 kids and their partners . Beacon Crag has everything for a small intimate ceremony to a large gathering of family and friends. Beautiful setting whatever the weather . Our wedding photos are amazing and still don’t quite believe that our dream venue was just there waiting for us to find . Porthleven is even more special to us now thanks to our lucky find of Beacon Crag and its amazing hostess Sam . Simply cannot rate highly enough
