Situated in the heart of Cornwall, The Barn at Pengelly is an award winning purpose-built wedding venue that is nestled within a 5th generation working farm. The family have lovingly created a unique venue that overlooks rolling hills and tranquil lakes.
With exclusive hire, three licenced ceremony areas, on-site accommodation, our brand new glam room and wedding co-ordination, our team will ensure you can enjoy your special day and make memories that will last a lifetime. We offer styling packages including full table decor, large LOVE letters, donut walls and sweet carts to help ease the planning.

We have seven cottages that sleep 35 plus on-site camping, shepherds huts and a luxury honeymoon cabin overlooking the lakes. The cottages offer a central courtyard with large wooden gazebo, BBQ, furnishings and a fire pit so you can get together the night before your wedding with some sundowners. You can then wake up with your wedding party on your wedding day, get ready in the luxury glam room, whilst your Wedding Coordinator welcomes your suppliers and takes care of the finishing touches.
The bar will be open an hour before your ceremony allowing your guests to mingle in anticipation of your arrival. Your guests will be seated before you make your entrance into our glass fronted barn or outside on the lower terrace, with both options taking advantage of the stunning views.
Once you've tied the knot, your guests can enjoy a glass of Pimms, beer or bubbly from our drinks packages, served by our team. Whilst you have your photos taken, in front of the lakes, palm trees, farm lanes, on the hammock, swing or sweeping terraces, guests can make the most of our lawn games, before you sit down to dine from one of our hand picked caterers.
With our multi-day hire, at the end of the night you can retreat to our luxury handmade honeymoon cabin overlooking the lakes, and reconnect with your wedding party the following morning to share stories from the night before over coffee and pastries. We also offer a Sunday Saver for those who are looking for a more stripped back version and don't require accommodation.

The most incredible wedding venue
The venue was simply perfect. We lucked out with the weather so were fortunate to be able to hold our ceremony outside, but felt reassured that we could move it indoors if the weather changed last minute. The grounds were so beautiful and perfectly landscaped. We loved everything from the lakes, the grand steps, the wedding swing and the palm trees, all of which provided the best backdrop for our wedding photos. We were spoiled for choice! We loved the extra little touches that the venue had, including love letters and charger plates to hire, a fire pit for toasting marshmallows, and ample space inside the venue which we filled with our band, Photo Booth and casino tables. The place was so spacious yet provided the best atmosphere for us and our guests to party all evening.
We wish we could do the day all over again. Thank you again to all of the team at The Barn at Pengelly and we highly recommend this venue!

The most perfect place for the most perfect day
We had the most perfect day, it was beautiful in every single way and I know that without a doubt this was down to the Pengelly and the Team. Everything was seamless, calm and just complete perfection.
Lauren, the venue manager was immensely calm, professional and organised, nothing was too much bother. She made me feel like getting married was easy, I am truly grateful.
From the most glorious grounds to the cottages where we had the most wonderful time getting ready, to the amazing attentive team on the big day.
I have had so much phenomenal feedback from our guests, many saying it was the best wedding the have ever been to. It was completely faultless.

I would also like to say thank you to Lauren who gave me a shot of tequila to settle my nerves as I was about to walk down the isle! These girls are a credit to the Barn at Pengelly!
