Situated in the heart of Cornwall, The Barn at Pengelly is an award winning purpose-built wedding venue that is nestled within a 5th generation working farm. The family have lovingly created a unique venue that overlooks rolling hills and tranquil lakes.
With exclusive hire, three licenced ceremony areas, on-site accommodation, our brand new glam room and wedding co-ordination, our team will ensure you can enjoy your special day and make memories that will last a lifetime. We offer styling packages including full table decor, large LOVE letters, donut walls and sweet carts to help ease the planning.

We have seven cottages that sleep 35 plus on-site camping, shepherds huts and a luxury honeymoon cabin overlooking the lakes. The cottages offer a central courtyard with large wooden gazebo, BBQ, fairy lights, furnishings and a fire pit so you can get together the night before your wedding with some sundowners. You can then wake up with your wedding party on your wedding day, get ready in the luxury glam room, whilst your Wedding Coordinator welcomes your suppliers and takes care of the finishing touches.
The bar will be open an hour before your ceremony allowing your guests to mingle in anticipation of your arrival. Your guests will be seated before you make your entrance into our glass fronted barn or outside on the lower terrace, with both options taking advantage of the stunning views.
Once you've tied the knot, your guests can enjoy a glass of Pimms, beer or bubbly from our drinks packages, served by our team. Whilst you have your photos taken, in front of the lakes, palm trees, farm lanes, on the hammock, swing or sweeping terraces, guests can make the most of our lawn games, before you sit down to dine from one of our hand picked caterers.
With our multi-day hire, at the end of the night you can retreat to our luxury handmade honeymoon cabin overlooking the lakes, and reconnect with your wedding party the following morning to share stories from the night before over coffee and pastries. We also offer a Sunday Saver for those who are looking for a more stripped back version and don't require accommodation.

A Perfect Day Made Possible by Catherin and The Barn at Pengelly
The Barn at Pengelly was equally amazing. The venue was breathtaking, and the team there went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always one step ahead, making adjustments and offering help before we even had to ask. Every email I sent, no matter how big or small the question, was replied to almost instantly, always with warmth and reassurance.
Together, Catherin and the Barn at Pengelly team created a day that was not only beautiful but completely stress free. We felt so well looked after, and our guests could not stop talking about how perfect everything was. I can honestly say they went above and beyond in every way possible, and I will be forever grateful for their hard work, kindness, and dedication in making our wedding day truly unforgettable.

All communication with the Barn was top notch and honestly, as a couple we felt so valued and like we really mattered. Emily, our coordinator, was the shining light in our day. She kept everything going and was so enthusiastic about us. Everything from the little touches to making sure we were fed and watered the day before. No stone was left unturned by her and trust me, if you have her as your coordinator, you will have the most magical day because she’s just so on it. We felt so incredibly lucky to have her.
The accommodation was incredible, spotlessly clean, nothing was too much trouble.
The day itself was beautiful. Us girls got ready in the glam room and although this was not included in the price, I feel lucky that I was able to have it as it really did keep me away from the hustle and bustle of the busier accommodation. It was the perfect spot to get ready with my bridal party and there was lots of space for everyone, make up and hair to do their thang! ✨
The honeymoon cabin was perfect too. The most enchanting way to wake up and spend our first night as Mr and Mrs!
All communication with the barn was the best thing really. They sent us little gifts in the post to let us know we were valued, little emails here and there and really, this is what stands out. You feel like you matter and each little event you were invited to made you feel you were part of a little community!
We loved getting married here, each little detail that mattered to us, mattered to you and we’re just so grateful. ✨
A dream wedding venue
The whole process from our initial viewing, build up, day before the wedding, wedding day and follow up was fantastic.
This is a beautiful venue and the love and attention provided by the team is incredible. The venue is top tier, finished to a perfect standard and sprinkled with unforgettable little touches. Our guests had a wonderful time and we absolutely loved our stay with our nearest wnd dearest the night before our big day.
We are over the moon that this was our wedding venue and will forever be grateful.
A massive thank you goes to our wedding coordinator, Emily, who ensured the day went off without a hitch and was forever there to answer our questions and make the whole process very special. She calmed our nerves, brought the fun and was seamless in all that she did.

Amazing wedding venue!
The venue itself was gorgeous, and perfectly set up for any number of guests. We also had some wheelchair users within our guests and again the facilities were perfectly equipped to support with this.
We chose to hire the accomodation for some of our guests, this allowed us to start the celebrations early and space to get ready, it was a lovely space and the courtyard allowed everyone to stay together, with it only being a short walk from the venue, it was positioned brilliantly.
Again, a massive thank you to the team at The Barn, it really made our day incredible and we would highly recommend this venue to any couple!

Meet the team
Emily joined our team in January 2024 and has been an absolute ray of sunshine since day one. She has a First Class Degree in Creative Events Management and throughout her studies, gained lots of experience working with a freelance Wedding Planner across Devon and Cornwall and another local venue.
Lauren has been with us since we opened our doors in May 2022 and brings over 11 years of experience in the wedding and events industry across London and Cornwall. She manages the venue and the wedding team, ensuring everything runs smoothly for every couple. Known for her bubbly personality and calm professionalism, Lauren is always happy to help.
Megan, joined us in June 2023 from another busy Cornish wedding venue, bringing her creative flair with her! She has valuable experience in both the wedding and hospitality industries. She loves getting to know her couples and making sure every detail is coordinated perfectly. Megan loves a themed wedding and coming up with ideas to make your wedding stand out!
