Stately Home Wedding Venues in Cornwall

We recently celebrated our wedding at Scorrier House, and we honestly cannot recommend this stunning venue enough. The grounds are beautiful in every season and weather, offering so many lovely options for both indoor and outdoor weddings. Throughout our planning journey, Ollie and Laura were incredibly helpful and supportive. They always replied promptly to our many questions and made the whole experience feel so much easier and more enjoyable. Our friends, family, and the two of us were made to feel genuinely welcomed during our stay. We also had the pleasure of working with Kitty, who brought such warmth and care to our wedding weekend. She even hosted a yoga class for us the day before the wedding, which was not only relaxing but also so much fun. We would wholeheartedly recommend Scorrier House to any couple looking for a calm, beautiful, and truly special venue that you can make your own. It was everything we hoped for and more.

Our time at Pentillie was absolutely perfect! Every member of the staff and team were incredibly helpful at ensuring everything went as planned and couldn’t have been kinder! The venue itself is picture perfect, every room is incredible and comfortable, having the place to ourselves was a luxury that will never be topped, our guests loved the swimming pool and exploring the grounds, and the bridal suite was absolute bliss! If you’re planning a Cornish wedding, you’d be amiss to skip out on this venue! 10/10

We’d like to send a huge thank you to the Boconnoc team for helping us create an absolutely perfect wedding day. From the moment we got engaged on site, it was the only place we could imagine getting married. We’re very grateful to the team for all their help in enabling us to have our big day at a place so special to my family, where my Grandad worked for many years. All of the staff are wonderful, friendly and ready to go beyond for us. Some perfect examples being poor Jamie-Lee having to scour the floor with me to find broken pieces of a special cake decoration. Or Catherine staying late to help us get the house set-up and constantly reassuring me everything was under control. Or Sima remembering that we’d requested to use the red lanterns my Grandad made, when this important detail had actually gotten lost to me in amongst all the rest of the planning. Everyone was fantastic at helping bring our ideas to life and we can’t imagine how the day could have been more perfect. The moment we met Louise we knew everything was in safe hands. She and the team worked so seamlessly with the suppliers to keep the day flowing as planned. It’s a testament to their professionalism that we didn’t have to think about anything at all, other than enjoying the moment and spending time with our guests all day. We’ve had countless comments from guests about how beautiful a setting the estate was and loved getting to share it with them. And it was an added bonus for them to be able to spend some time exploring the estate the next day too. Being able to have people stay on site was the cherry on top as we got to see everyone at breakfast the next morning - the perfect wrap up to our celebrations. We also really appreciated the supplier list the venue provided, having used a caterer (Dish), florist (Garden Gate) and bar (Sauce) off the list and found them all to be absolute dreams to work with. We can’t recommend Boconnoc enough and absolutely look forward to coming to stay again in the future.

Pencarrow house is the most fantastic venue and our day was beyond our expectations. The staff at Pencarrow are knowledgable and helpful and guided us through the day. The venue itself is fantastic grounds and picture perfect. From our first viewing to our big day the team supported us helped create an amazing experience. I can not recommend this venue enough.

We had a fabulous wedding at Treseren, it was absolutely perfect. The amazing team went the extra mile to ensure that we had the absolute best day. A beautiful venue, we got married under the walnut tree, what a special place. The food all weekend was incredible, all the little touches that made our time there so personal. We couldn't have asked for more. Izzy our wedding planner went out of her way to make sure we had the best day, with Tash taking over in the evening to make sure everything continued to run smoothly, we couldn't have asked for more. Everyone who stayed at the house with us had the most marvellous time, and felt very well cared for. Emma and Paul, you really have created a home from home, welcoming us so warmly. If you are looking to book a small intimate wedding, then look no further, I honestly don't think there is a better venue out there. Stunning location in Cornwall really helps too. You were all fantastic !

We got married at Trelowarren in September 2025 and it was the perfect venue. We looked all around Cornwall at venues but so many of them had a ‘factory’ feel and seemed impersonal. In contrast, from the minute we drove down the drive and saw the wild ponies and historic site we knew this was going to be for us. We were shown around by the lovely Karen and were blown away by the history of the venue and multiple spaces that could be used from the historic chapel, to the old library, the courtyard and stable event space. We were able to build our day however we wanted and Trelowarren tried to accommodate every suggestion and idea we had. We also loved that it was a venue where not just we could stay, but all of our wedding party and close family, as there are many cottages on site. This turned the wedding into a full holiday for us and our family and meant we were able to spend lots of time together, as well as have welcome drinks the night before and get ready in different places on site. On the day, we were looked after by the amazing Out of the Ordinary weddings who are outsourced as the coordinators and everything ran so smoothly. Flora (who are on site) catered the wedding and many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever eaten. We were even able to curate our own menu with the amazing Tim in the run up, including them providing us with a special cocktail hour after dinner in Flora restaurant with a jazz trio to get the party started whilst the main room was changed over. Thank you so much to the whole team at Trelowarren for the best day ever. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!
