My wife and I spent hours scrolling through different websites while were looking for venues for our wedding. When we stumbled onto a posting about Roswarne I saw my wife’s eye light up. When we started looking through the pictures and reviews I’m sure my eyes did too. The house itself is gorgeous and has many amazing places for events. My wife and I ultimately chose to be married in the drawing room with the reception in the gardens. We were lucky enough to be able to stay the night and loved being able to have such a beautiful home to ourselves for the night and be well rested before the best day of my life. The food at Roswarne was another highlight of the day. Their in-house catering was able to accommodate our dietary restrictions and provided an amazing meal for our special day. The chocolate soufflé was particularly popular among my family and friends. I was also incredibly grateful to the owners for being so helpful and flexible with us throughout the wedding planning process. As we don’t live in the UK we found ourselves having to organize the wedding from abroad. We were probably some of the more difficult guests they’ve hosted as we had to deal with a significant timezone difference and organize things from the other side of the world. The owners were lovely and incredibly patient with us through the process and our wedding would not have gone off nearly so smoothly without their help and support. If you are considering hosting an event, I would highly recommend Roswarne. -B
