Got married on 29th November and our Lusty Glaze wedding was beyond spectacular. It was everything that we wanted it to be... and more. We honestly wouldn't change a single thing. To be in that glorious setting, surrounded by the people we love, was just fabulous. The staff at Lusty are wonderful, every single one of them. Our guests keep raving on about how lovely ALL the staff were, how delicious the carvery was and about the beauty of the venue, of course. We had the winter wedding package with up to 60 day guests. The food was a two meat carvery and it was outstanding. Amazing photo opportunities and the wedding planning team were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and their communication was always quick, throughout the year of organising. Highly recommend Lusty Glaze.

We got married at Firhill in Newquay, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d chosen somewhere truly special. The setting is stunning — peaceful, beautifully kept, and full of character — the perfect backdrop for such an important day. Our ceremony took place in the little 15th-century church up the drive, which was incredibly special and full of history. Walking back together through the apple orchard afterwards felt surreal — calm, romantic, and completely timeless. Being greeted with homemade cider made from Firhill’s own apples was such a personal and authentic touch, and something we — and our guests — will always remember. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the Mongolian yurts. They were cosy, comfortable, and beautifully done, adding a unique and memorable element to the whole experience. Waking up there after our wedding made the celebrations feel even more special, and our guests loved them just as much as we did. Charlie, our host, truly made Firhill what it is. From the very beginning he was welcoming, genuine, and full of character. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and everything was handled with such care and warmth. By the end of our stay, Charlie didn’t just feel like our host — he felt like a friend, and that personal connection made our wedding even more meaningful. Everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy every moment. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the venue was and how warm and welcoming the atmosphere felt. For everything that Firhill offers, the price was more than fair and represented incredible value, which made the whole experience even better. We honestly couldn’t have imagined a better place to get married and would recommend Firhill wholeheartedly to any couple looking for a truly special wedding venue in Cornwall. I can not recommend the Atlantic enough! I spent several months searching for the best value for money! Our budget was under 10k but in Cornwall it’s really easy to go above. We decided on the Atlantic pretty much as soon as we met Nina our wedding planner and was shown the grounds. The views over the sea are breathtaking, we were lucky to have a clear day and a beautiful red sky sunset in the evening! The decking area was super popular throughout the day where our guests enjoyed their cold beverages and gorgeous sun. Every member of staff were professional and catered to all our needs. Food was 10/10 rated by all our guests, hot plates and plenty of choices to suit all. The ball room was perfect size for our dj and guests to dance, we had a photo booth and a chocolate fountain which fit perfectly! About 8 tables for our guest to also sit in there in the evening and our own private bar. Overall I’m so happy we booked our venue at the Atlantic and wouldn’t change a thing.

We had the most wonderful experience with Little Oak Cornwall. We couldn’t have asked for more and Emma was always available to answer any questions or concerns. The whole supplier/client relationship was so smooth and professional, yet also friendly and kind. We used the woodland over the bridge from the event field for our ceremony. It was magical. There was loads flexibility and advice from Emma. We hired a small and a large marquee then had bales, sun sails and parasols in the event field. There was just the right amount of room. The ground was really flat (for a field) so our guests with wheels were able to get around, the new drainage was working perfectly and the water and power outlets were really well placed for us. The toilets were very clean and sufficient to have 4 for 140 people. Our suppliers had no issues accessing the fields in their vehicles (food trucks, marquee delivery etc) and Emma was really helpful communicating directly with them if they had questions. We had about 12 tents for people camping and that went really smoothly. The showers were great - lovely and warm and clean. They look great from the outside too. Our van broke down, delaying our derig, and Emma was so kind and able to be flexible which massively reduced the stress levels. I cannot speak highly enough of this venue. Thank you so much Emma and family. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
