Nestled on the stunning Cornish coastline, The Rosevine is a beautiful Georgian manor that offers couples the perfect setting for a memorable wedding. Known as the "Big House by the Sea," this elegant venue boasts breathtaking views of Gerrans Bay, with the beach just a short stroll away. Whether you're dreaming of an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, The Rosevine provides a spectacular backdrop for a wedding weekend that combines style, comfort, and natural beauty.

Facilities & Capacity

The Rosevine is the perfect venue for couples wishing to celebrate their wedding over several days. You and your guests can enjoy a relaxed, multi-day celebration with a range of unique spaces and flexible options. Start with a cozy rehearsal dinner in the on-site restaurant, host a pre-wedding drinks reception on the expansive lawn, and unwind by the fire in the charming lounge.

For your ceremony, you can choose from a variety of stunning locations. Exchange vows on the spacious lawn, with the sea as your backdrop, or in one of the elegant indoor spaces. For smaller weddings (up to 40 guests), The Rosevine’s stylish interior provides a welcoming and intimate atmosphere. For larger gatherings, we can set up a wedding tipi or marquee on the lawn, providing a magical setting for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. The tipi can be customised with fairy lights, a warm fire pit, and handcrafted furniture to reflect your personal style.

The venue’s exclusive rental includes 15 luxurious apartments and a four-bedroom house, offering accommodation for up to 40 guests. This ensures everyone has a comfortable stay and is just moments away from the venue’s stunning grounds.

Services & Amenities

The Rosevine offers an all-inclusive wedding experience with a dedicated event team to help bring your vision to life. The venue rental includes two-night accommodation for you and your guests, use of the ceremony space, and full event support. While furniture, linens, and dinnerware are not included in the base package, these can be added to your quote for ease and convenience.

The Rosevine’s talented in-house catering team will work with you to create a customised menu that delights your guests. From elegant sit-down dinners to casual pre-wedding barbecues, the team is happy to offer a range of options to suit your tastes. Additional touches like breakfast hampers, champagne toasts, and bespoke dining experiences can also be arranged upon request.

Amazing and perfect

The venue is exceptional. All our wedding guests enjoyed staying there and the children played around safely. Narita helped us with the wedding preparations and I have to say I will be forever grateful to her. She helped us with absolutely everything, from decoration to organising. She was very calm and knew exactly what she was doing. Other members of staff were also really helpful at Rosevine. Thank you very much The Rosevine team for all your effort and help

Best day ever!

The hotel was amazing, very accommodating and happy to organise the day however we wanted it to be. Narita ensured the day went exactly as planned. Honestly felt like they couldn't do enough for us to make everything perfect. Food was amazing and very personalised, Nick is a great chef.

Magical experience at The Rosevine

We had an amazing wedding experience at The Rosevine for our wedding. Narita and the rest of the team were incredibly helpful and flexible (including helping us with last minute decorations and anything else they could do to help!) and we felt truly wanted us to have an unforgettable time.
The hotel and grounds as a venue is truly stunning, and the food was excellent as well.
We were lucky in having great weather when we visited, but the proximity to the beach and grounds and swimming pool were real positives for some of our guests who also had children with them.
We had a fantastic experience and The Rosevine venue and all of the staff were a large part of that and we would recommend to anyone looking at wedding venues.

Absolutely Outstanding

I was absolutely blown away by Narita, our wedding coordinator at The Rosevine, and the rest of the team. They are small but mighty and did an incredible job. Every single request, no matter how small was attended to and they really went above and beyond to create the most amazing day for us. The whole day was exquisite and we wouldn’t have changed a single thing, it was absolutely perfect. Thank you so so much to the team at The Rosevine!

the team absolutely felt like part of the family

"As soon as we started our search for an intimate wedding venue The Rosevine stood out as something special. We loved the look of the cosy, intimate lounge, the beautiful fireplace and amazing views towards the beach – we love being near the coast so it felt perfect for our little big day.

Due to living in the midlands and only booking 5 months in advance, we didn’t have chance to visit before our big day so naturally we were a bit apprehensive during our long drive down…our concerns disappeared the minute we arrived. Pulling into the drive we were met with the beautiful views across the bay which we instantly fell in love with.

From the moment we arrived the team did absolutely everything to make our stay as special as possible - nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Our room had some lovely little personal touches and the homemade cake snacks went down a treat after our long journey!!

On the day, the team absolutely felt like part of the family –checking we had enough teas, coffees and champagne to keep us going! Felicia and Sophie kindly acted as our witnesses and they made the day even more special – they seemed really excited for us, and in the end didn’t feel like strangers at all! We can’t wait to come back for a holiday soon!!"

We could not recommend the Rosevine enough

When we saw the Rosevine for the first time, we knew instantly that this was the place where we wanted to get married because it provided the perfect setting for our friends and family. However when we got married we realised that the extremely helpful and brilliant staff were so much more, and in fact the Rosevine wouldn't be anywhere near what it is without the wonderful staff who go above and beyond in every way. We wanted the staff to mix in with our friends and family to share in our celebrations and they did this perfectly, many of our friends and family commented after the wedding what wonderful staff worked at the Rosevine. We really feel that we have made some lovely friends! The food matched the highest of expectations among our guests - everything was just perfect! We couldn't recommend the Rosevine enough, it really is the most amazing place to get married and the accommodation is top notch.

Not us nor our family could fault a thing

Thank you so so much for everything this weekend and the run up to it. Not us nor our family could fault anything whatsoever, and everyone is already looking forward to coming back! Brace yourselves for years to come !! ??
Massive thanks to the chefs, people were saying it’s the best beef/salmon/food in general they’ve ever eaten.. and the breakfasts were so good!

Once again, huge thanks from Luke and I for making our wedding and our weekend at the Rosevine so so special.

Surpassed both of our expectations

We both wanted to extend our thanks again to you and the team for helping us have the best wedding day ever. We were both really happy with the Rosevine as a choice of venue before the event, but it surpassed both of our expectations! Everything ran so smoothly and you guys were so much help in getting things organised both during the few days before and the day itself meaning we could really let go and enjoy ourselves. All our guests had a fantastic time as well and kept commenting on our excellent choice of venue!! And I still can't get over our luck with the weather!

Perfect beyond belief

You all made our stay (and our families') perfect beyond belief, our wedding day was always going to be small and not fussy and you all took that on board but made it so special with everything you did for us and just being bloody gorgeous all round.
The new team you have there are literally out of this world and we wouldn't have changed a thing. We will absolutely be recommending The Rosevine as a wedding venue to anyone thinking of it.
