Trenderway is an incomparable barn wedding venue in south Cornwall, with beautifully restored 18th Century farm buildings around a lovely cobbled courtyard, set in a secret, hidden valley just a mile or two inland from pretty Polperro, on the coast.

We have wonderful indoor and outdoor celebration areas, giving you complete flexibility - whether you're planning a large wedding with 100 seated for your Wedding Breakfast and 200 + for your evening party, or a simple, romantic elopement or intimate wedding with under 20 guests. Whatever the number of guests and whatever you have in mind, you can plan your day exactly as you imagine it in our lovely, versatile spaces, with all the help you need from our friendly, professional team.

Facilities and Capacity

Set in the heart of 200 acres of lush farmland, Trenderway offers a secluded, picturesque setting for special celebrations. The focal point is the authentic, restored 200-year-old Cornish stone barn, The Linhay, a large wonderfully restored space with a high beamed ceiling, solid oak floors and rustic whitewashed walls. There is an upper balcony on two sides and two bar areas.

The Linhay is ideal for indoor wedding celebrations. The Mowhay Barn, adjoining the upper level, is perfect for the wedding ceremony itself, or for smaller gatherings.

Whether you're dreaming of an intimate gathering, a lavish bash, or anything in between, we can't wait to host your amazing celebrations and look after you. For larger events, Wedding Breakfasts with up to 120 seated guests can be hosted in The Linhay, while many more guests can join for the Reception later on if you wish.

Events can be extended to the venue's spacious marquee or held outdoors. Our open-air courtyard is dressed with twinkling festoon lights and can be decorated to align with an array of themes and styles.

Trenderway believes in the importance of celebratory meals, and has curated a list of excellent, carefully selected caterers for couples to choose from. A wide variety of mouth-watering menus to suit all palates and budgets are available, from barbecues and hog roasts to multi-course sit-down meals.

Trenderway has seven beautifully restored en-suite rooms in our converted barns, for the main wedding party, including the Meadow Barn Couple's Suite. For your guests, our team can help with recommendations and we have plenty of B&Bs, hotels and self-catering accommodation nearby.
