Thoresby Weddings, in the heart of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, is a festival wedding venue with plenty to shout about.
The brick-built Victorian Riding Hall makes for such a dreamy wedding venue and is packed with magical soaring ceilings and fairylights. Out the back is their new Secret Garden escape, which is the ideal spot for drinks receptions and garden games.
The Hall is surrounded by the most incredible outdoor space where you can host woodland weddings or erect rustic tipis and marquees. It's a flexible space for your wedding and suits whatever kind of festival theme or al-fresco dining style you want to throw at it.
The woodland area at Thoresby Weddings is so photogenic and offers endless opportunities for couples to capture festival-chic wedding pictures. With the addition of a marquee, you can really host a large wedding too so your limit is your imagination!
4. The Woodlands - Lutterworth, Leicestershire
Described as a "rustic luxe woodland venue", the aptly named Woodlands combines both natural, outdoorsy style with luxury, contemporary inside spaces. From the gorgeous Hideaway to the treehouse honeymoon suite, every corner is bursting with something magical to discover.
With giant snakes and ladders, crazy golf and splat the rat to fire pits and s'mores stations, there's so much for guests to enjoy. Add in the gin bar and sharing board feast, the atmosphere here is convivial and relaxed.
The Woodlands can host 60 guests for the reception and dining, and 150 guests for the evening reception where you can dance the night away. There's dreamy wood-clad chalet accommodation for up to 54 on-site so you don't need to worry about ending the merriment early.
5. Llyn Gwynant Campsite - Caernarfon, Gwynedd
If you want to set up your own mini Glastonbury, Llyn Gwynant Barns is the place. Lying in a beautiful Welsh valley, these Grade II-listed stone barns are surrounded by private fields and overlook a calming lake.
You get a minimum of two days hire when you book the venue, and the barns come with a kitchen, showers, sleeping platforms and licensed, fully staffed bar so you really can turn your wedding into in a fun festival glamping experience for a weekend.
The Big Barn is a perfect place for your ceremony and evening reception, with space for 160 people. It comes with a stage, sound system and lights so you can hire live entertainment to take you through the night. Once they've finished at 1am, you can change to a iPod on their sound system and dance till dawn.

6. Tanner Warehouse - Bermondsey, South East London
Just a stone's throw from London Bridge is the characterful Tanner Warehouse. Before the big day you can host pre-wedding events like cocktails in the library, a pizza party in The Big Yurt, games on the lawn or a pamper night. We’re totally obsessed with Wyresdale Weddings. Their venue encompasses a collection of beautiful rustic barns, a country house, boating lake and glamping, all on the western slopes of the Forest of Bowland.
The grounds are absolutely stunning, making them the perfect setting for food trucks, garden games and live music outdoors.
After getting ready in the North Wing, the Ceremony Barn is the perfect place to exchange vows. After that, the stunning White Barn is where you will have your dinner and dancing, with high ceilings, balcony, original beams and old stables. It’s a hugely characterful building that feels intimate with 70 guests or atmospheric with 170.
Perfect for a festival-style celebration, the estate has two beautiful glamping sites to choose from. We love The Orchard because it’s adjacent to the venue and can sleep 20 to 25 people in 10 bell tents. There are also the Feather Down Lodges, a selection of five safari tents with log burners and outdoor hot tubs that sit on the edge of the lake. How romantic!
12. Kielder Waterside Tipis – Northumberland
Situated in the heart of Northumberland, there are few more unique and wildly romantic wedding venues than Kielder Waterside Tipis. 14. High Billinghurst Farm - Godalming, Surrey
Joe Wicks chose this enchanting venue set in 65 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside for his wedding and it's clear why. Two beautiful interlinking barns allow your creativity to run wild, while the gardens are perfect for a fun fairground experience.
The Haybarn at High Billinghurst Farm can hold up to 164 guests and comes complete with a huge inglenook fireplace and glamorous chandeliers for a rustic-luxe vibe.

Nestled within 1000-acres of historic Ribble Valley countryside, Gisburne Park Estate is one of Lancashire’s finest private estates.
