We’re totally obsessed with Wyresdale Weddings. Their venue encompasses a collection of beautiful rustic barns, a country house, boating lake and glamping, all on the western slopes of the Forest of Bowland.

After getting ready in the North Wing Bridal Accommodation, the Ceremony Barn is the perfect place to exchange vows. After that, the stunning White Barn is where you will have your dinner and dancing, with high ceilings, balcony, original beams and old stables. It’s a hugely characterful building that feels intimate with 70 guests or atmospheric with 170.
Perfect for a festival-style celebration, the estate has two beautiful glamping sites to choose from. We love The Orchard because it’s adjacent to the venue and can sleep 20 to 25 people in 10 bell tents. There are also the Feather Down Lodges – a selection of five safari tents with log burners and outdoor hot tubs that sit on the edge of the lake. How romantic!

It would be perfect for your festival-themed wedding, because it boasts a spectacular tipi which is hidden within its own private 10-acre valley on the tributary of two rivers. The tipi is also surrounded by cliffs, bridges, lawns and the stunning Riverside House.
Gisburne Park Estate is a licensed venue, meaning you can get married either on the small private island upstream, at the ancient St Mary’s Church or on the edge of the estate.
