Don’t miss our edit of 2015 celebrity weddings too for more ideas.

Hengrave Hall, Suffolk

This stunning Tudor mansion played host to one of the most talked about 2015 celebrity weddings – Essex boy Mark Wright’s wedding to former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan. The classic wedding venue has a chapel onsite and sits amongst 350 acres of land. There are over 1,000 David Austen roses planted in the grounds.

Hengrave Hall also played host to Countdown’s Rachel Riley’s wedding to her university sweetheart, Jamie Gilbert.

Kew Gardens, West London

Kew Gardens is a World Heritage Site made up from Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, including a former royal residence, a choice of conservatories and an orangery. The venue is seriously stylish without being stuffy, which is why it makes perfect sense that Fearne Cotton chose to marry her rocker husband Jesse Wood here in 2014.

The elegant wedding venue has also hosted singer Katie Melua’s wedding, to superbike racer James Toseland.

Amberley Castle, West Sussex

Amberley Castle is the perfect choice for couples who want to give their wedding a real fairytale feel. The venue has a rich 900-year history and boasts two resident white peacocks who stalk the grounds and will look amazing in your wedding pictures. It was also the wedding venue of choice for model Abbey Clancy and footballer Peter Crouch – they tied the knot at this castle wedding venue in the summer of 2011.

Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire

The beautiful Blenheim Palace has six different spaces on offer to suit your wedding needs. We wonder what Marvin and Rochelle Humes opted for when this pop power couple chose to tie the knot there, back in 2012. Whatever they went for, you can guarantee it was sensational – we interviewed celebrity wedding planner Mark Niemierko to find out more about their big day.

Footballer John Terry also picked Blenheim Palace for his wedding to Toni Poole. You can also find out more about Blenheim Palace’s various claims to fame by reading up on our round up of the best wedding venues from TV and film.

Matfen Hall, Northumberland

The glamorous Matfen Hall played host to the guests of TV presenter Declan Donnelly’s wedding to talent manager Ali Astall in 2015. The gorgeous property can host outdoor wedding ceremonies within its vast grounds, and also boasts the cool and quirky ‘Vault Bar’, which, in a former life, was the cellar at the stately home wedding venue. It’s the perfect choice for party animal couples who want a place to drink and dance the night away.

Rushton Hall Hotel & Spa, Northamptonshire

Who doesn’t love super-celeb couple Matt and Emma Willis? If you’re just as obsessed with them as we are, why not consider marrying at the wedding venue they chose – the beautiful Rushton Hall Hotel & Spa.

The gorgeous bedrooms onsite – many of which boast opulent four-poster beds – mean your guests will be extra eager to come and celebrate with you – and will see you for breakfast the next morning!

Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire

Are you looking for a wedding venue that will leave your guests open-mouthed with wonder? Consider Eastnor Castle, a striking wedding venue with incredible interiors.

The venue, which was chosen by Davina McCall for her wedding to Matthew Robertson in 2000, is a fairytale castle situated amongst an impressive 5,000 acre estate. We’re sure those vast grounds means there are plenty of locations for your wedding photos.

One Marylebone, North West London

One Marylebone was the home to one of our favourite celebrity weddings ever – mainly because of the groom’s speech! This North West London venue was chosen by Tom and Giovanna Fletcher for their 2012 wedding.

The venue is located on its very own island, and is a Grade I listed deconsecrated church, restored to its original design by Sir John Soane. It’s also just minutes from Regent’s Park which is perfect if you’re looking for a variety of backdrops for your wedding photographs.

We couldn’t not include Tom’s tear-jerker of a wedding speech – it’s been years and we’re still welling up!

Cromlix Hotel, Perthshire

If you owned a wedding venue, you’d probably get married there, right? That’s exactly what tennis ace Andy Murray did! For his long-awaited wedding to artist Kim Sears, the Wimbledon champ chose Cromlix Hotel, a five-star mansion set within 34 acres of woodland and beautiful grounds.

His brother, doubles tennis star Jamie Murray, also said his wedding vows in the onsite chapel. It’s definitely a wedding venue to consider if you’re a lover of tennis.

Woburn Abbey Estate, Bedfordshire

Couples looking for a wedding venue with plenty of options will love Woburn Abbey Estate– after all, Frankie and Wayne Bridge did! Woburn offers couples a choice of locations for their special day. They can marry at the exclusive Sculpture Gallery, with private terrace and lake views or The Woburn Hotel for intimate weddings. The Safari Lodge offers an alternative reception venue, where you can celebrate amongst some of the world’s most endangered animals.

Former Spice Girl Geri Horner (nee Halliwell) also chose to celebrate her church wedding to Christian Horner with a reception at Woburn Abbey Estate.

Luttrellstown Castle, Dublin

Celebrity royalty David and Victoria Beckham chose to tie the knot at this enchanting castle near Dublin. Luttrellstown Castle offers a choice of settings for your wedding, and you can take advantage of the onsite wedding coordinator to help you plan the day of your dreams.

Will you opt for matching thrones, a la Posh and Becks? The venue could be a good omen – the couple have been married for 17 years now.

Cardiff Castle, Cardiff

Fancy a fairytale wedding at a Welsh wedding venue? Take a closer look at Cardiff Castle, which was also chosen by The One Show presenter Alex Jones for her New Year’s Eve wedding to insurance broker Charlie Thomson.

Take advantage of tailor-made wedding packages, adapted to suit your needs, and a choice of beautiful locations within the venue to host your special day.

Kensington Palace, West London

Want to feel like royalty on your wedding day? Do what American fashion designer, socialite and heiress Nicky Hilton did when she married James Rothschild, and choose Kensington Palace as your wedding venue. We can’t even begin to imagine what their wedding budget was…
