We had never really considered a winter wedding. We were looking for something summery - think field with hay bails - festival vibes. But we visited East Sussex National as part of a wedding fair that they were hosting and we arranged a full tour, this was around Christmas time and instantly fell in love with the place. Everything just felt right. Tracey and her team were so supportive throughout, responding quickly to any question we had - never making us feel like we were asking a silly question! We had a number of meetings and opportunities to visit beforehand and everything was smooth and put us at ease. On the day itself, we couldn't have asked for more. The team on the day, lead brilliantly by Rachel, couldn't do more - from the waiters, to the bar staff, to the chefs, we couldn't have asked for more. Some beautiful touches in our room after the wedding really made us feel special. Thank you to the whole team who made our special day perfect.

We had the most incredible wedding day thanks to the team at Buxted Park. Our wedding coordinator was super helpful and proactive leading up to our wedding. Our on the day master of ceremony which was included in our package was incredible. I felt the value for money was really positive compared to many other Venues we explored and I’m glad we chose Buxted Park hotel to be our venue of choice. The photos were incredible and the grounds are stunning. Indoor and outdoor ceremony options catering for all preferences

We turned our wedding around in 6 weeks due to a family member's ill health. We were thrilled that our venue of choice, The Dome at Hotel Du Vin, was available on the date we wanted. The staff were unreal, so attentive and went above and beyond leading up to, during and after our wedding day. The evening before the wedding I was expecting to set up the room myself with all the table decorations etc, when I arrived, the lady running our event just asked how I wanted everything and said she was booked to do all that for me. I was absolutely thrilled and could go home, have a bath and relax instead, which was a game-changer. When I arrived the next morning to deliver the cake, the Dome was decorated so beautifully, much better than I could have managed myself. I was blown away. On the day I arrived for hair and make-up in our beautiful room, it was so calm and stress-free, we couldn't have asked for more. The wedding reception was just beautiful. The food was exquisite and the service between courses was impeccably choreographed. Our wedding guests said it was the best wedding breakfast they had ever had. We finished the day off with a very comfortable night's sleep in a stunning suite. We are hugely grateful to the whole team at Hotel Du Vin for making our day so very special for our guests and us. If you are looking for a central Brighton wedding venue close to the beach, then we would highly recommend Hotel Du Vin. All of the staff are amazing and will make sure you are very well looked after indeed.

They just go above and beyond to help you always on the end of the phone and if you need to go there they accodate you

otherwise this was pretty much a perfect winter wedding in a very scenic town. All thanks to Natalie and her team at The George In Rye who from day 1 of our planning were super efficient and helpful and who on the day were superbly organised and attentive to our needs. My mum did high end silver service waitressing for nearly 40 years and she was very impressed at everything she saw and all our thirty guests really enjoyed the day (beyond stuff people just say to the married couple) in large part due to the venue and staff.

Attended wedding there on Saturday 22.07 and everything was perfect

We fell in love with this venue when we saw the space they had both Outdoor and Indoor. Being able to have our ceremony outdoor in the magical woodland, and still have an indoor space big enough for a sit-down dinner was perfect for us. The evening was spot-on as well, the fire-pits outside gave it the perfect chilled vibe we were after, and the Oast itself was a great for dancing.

Michelham priory is such a gorgeous spot for a wedding. We wanted something that was both classic and elegant, but also charming and laid back… a tricky balance! Michelham priory was exactly that. Chloe and Bryony at Blue Door were also so responsive from the very start of planning to the day itself. We can’t thank them enough. Flexibility was our only challenge (it’s a listed barn so certain instruments in the band aren’t allowed, and music has to be turned off before 11). We had an incredible day and it ran smoother than we could ever have expected. Thank you Michelham and thank you Chloe and Bryony! X

We knew from the moment we moved to Ticehurst that we wanted to get married at the Bell. Becky was amazing throughout the whole planning stages and Jess and the team were incredible on the day. We cannot recommend the Bell highlu enough. Our friends and family loved and the day was everything we dreamed of and more! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

After 26 year together we decided to get married. We had arranged to get married at Eastbourne Registry office and have our wedding breakfast at the Powdermill Hotel in Battle. Unfortunately they had to cancel as they had to shut down for refurbishment and recommended Horsted Place Hotel as an alternative venue. Our wedding was to be a small family affair with only 13 guests and Horsted Place managed to accommodate us on our requested date. We cannot fault the service we received, from initial contact, to the day itself. Everything ran very smoothly indeed. The wedding breakfast was fantastic with our guests commenting on how lovely the food was, the presentation, the service and the venue. Everybody enjoyed the day, especially us. Thank you for putting in the effort to making our day very special indeed. We would certainly recommend Horsted Place Hotel as a venue for your wedding. Claire & Steve
