My wife and I wanted a venue that combined unique design, chic rooms and ample space to complement our vision of a glitzy, black tie, dining-focused wedding, and, well, Limekiln absolutely delivered. Limekiln allows the day to progress from room to room, offering each moment a different feel and texture. The ceremony room (Alder) is sleek, minimal and gave the florists the chance to be imaginative. The big windows in both Alder and Poplar provide a cool frame with which to work. The knockout feature is the bar area, with its comfortable seating, fire, and very, very cool cocktail bar (the guests loved the venue, but all said they were blown away by the bar). The Poplar room is the perfect place to dine, and we were both thrilled with how it came together; it looked stunning, particularly under candlelight. The Green Room (where the band played) is a secret, speakeasy kind of room, which is great fun to be in. But the success of the design meant that guests could dance and groove, yet return to the bar, where they could also relax and chat with a cocktail, without being drowned out by the band. As with any fashionable spot, it is the small touches, the attention to detail that forms the feeling of style, and Limekiln is incredibly stylish.

But the day was, of course, truly made by the fantastic team at Limekiln. We can, honestly, not speak highly enough of the people, particularly Isla and Jake, who brought the day to life. In the build-up, we felt welcome, in safe-hands, and genuinely special. Communication was excellent every step of the way. Isla and Jake are caring people, and I think this is Limekiln’s real strength. On the day itself, we didn’t want for anything, it all managed with a cool efficiency by Isla. We were just left to enjoy the day itself, without any stress or anxiety. We both say a big thank you!

Limekiln, we are both so very happy we spent the big day with you, and we wish we could do it all again. Bravo. No doubt many couples will feel the same way.

Words can’t really describe the feeling that takes over when you walk into LimeKiln. Despite seeing this first as a part construction site, we always knew this is where we would get married.

The team at LimeKiln were professional and kept to all our agreed timelines for having the venue ready on time, the surrounding greenery and florals were alive and ready for our wedding and the venue was simply perfection. No detail missed.

The venue staff were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process and we cannot thank you enough for making our journey to marriage, despite the extremely tight timelines, an easy and enjoyable one.
