All Saints The Old Chapel is a very beautiful, rather hidden wedding venue situated by the sea in Eastbourne, East Sussex. This setting offers an example of majestic English architecture and dates back to 1874. It's conveniently located for any loved ones from out of town, and is just 45 minutes from Gatwick Airport. Brighton, meanwhile, takes less than 30 minutes to reach.
Facilities and Capacity
All Saints The Old Chapel is a non-religious and fully licensed venue for civil partnerships and events, making it a versatile space for any need. You'll have exclusive use of the venue for the duration of your celebration, ensuring your privacy. In the chapel, you can marvel at the towering stained glass windows that fill the space with diffused sunlight. The architecture and arches can be transformed with cleverly placed coloured lighting. This venue is suitable for both ceremonies and receptions, with plenty of space for a seated meal. Overnight accommodation is available for both the couple and their guests.

Our timeless Chapel, built in 1874 with land donated by William Cavendish, 7th Duke of Devonshire, is truly unlike any other venue in Sussex. Being a Grade II listed building, with our magnificent Belgian altar, German stained glass windows, and elegant high ceilings, showcasing the historic detail carved into the walls.
We have beautiful grasslands surrounding the Chapel, perfectly hit by the sun, appealing to those summer weddings, which also make an amazing photo op!
Our Chapel is an excellent backdrop for photographs, with the truly grand size making it hard to miss, and has a beautiful park located on the Eastern side of the grounds.
With the Grand promenade and beach being only a short distance away from us, it contributes to diversity when compiling a unique and one-of-a-kind wedding album.

Perfect Venue for our Perfect Day
A Dream Wedding at the Most Stunning Venue
Our wedding day was truly the most perfect day, made even more unforgettable by the breathtaking beauty of All Saints Chapel. The venue completely exceeded our expectations and delivered that undeniable wow factor we had hoped for.
A special thank you goes to Darianna, who was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, she took the time to truly understand our vision and brought it to life with flawless execution. Her professionalism, warmth, and expertise ensured that every detail was taken care of, and the entire day flowed seamlessly. Nothing was ever too much trouble—she handled everything with calm and care.
The food was absolutely delicious, and we received so many compliments from our guests. The staff were courteous, attentive, and clearly well-trained, contributing to the smooth running of the entire event.
Even the transitions between rooms were managed effortlessly, creating a natural flow that kept the energy of the day just right.
We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will forever be grateful for the role All Saints Chapel played in making our wedding day so magical

At first communication was brilliant towards our wedding but as time drew in closer to our wedding date the communication wasn't so good, which we felt was disheartening, we asked a lot of questions as we did not know a thing about weddings and some responses we got were 'wedding season has started I'm very busy il get back to you' which wasn't nice, or no reply to a few messages.
The day before our wedding day which we had the set up and rehearsal baring in mind we only found out few days before that dariana was away until the day before set up, but yet we walked in for our set up/ rehearsal and there was stuff everywhere we ended up having to move tables and decor before we could even set up for our own wedding, which I must say was upsetting as we had thought we'd walk in set up do the rehearsal and then it's done but that wasn't the case it was very stressful.
However all of that being said our wedding day was just perfect! Dariana pulled it out the bag on the day as we put our heart and soul into every detail of hand made decor, she made sure the little things we did were scattered around so a part of our hard work was everywhere which was a beautiful touch, she was running around taking care of everything and everyone she did an amazing job on the day, the food which we had the grazing table with some finger buffet people loved it! It was amazing rens kitchen did a fab job! Dispite a few hiccups of butter portions not coming out until someone asked for them or our vol au vents which we brought in morning of didn't come out until we asked where they were, there wasn't any non alcoholic drink which we believe we asked for, but didn't realize until day after that there wasn't any but these hiccups are minor and did not ruin our day whatsoever.
All we would say is that dariana does a fab job but we did feel within our experience of our wedding she needs some help from other colleagues as we only saw her on her own all the way up to our wedding and in communications, so then not everything is on her as running that chapel must be extremely stressful, we don't mean that disrespectfully as we all know in our jobs that it takes a team to run things smoothly and we felt if she had that extra pair of hands it would be so helpful.
Our wedding day is a day to remember full of laughter, memories, tears and was everything we had dreamt of, so thank you to dariana & the team she had on the day with her, rens kitchen for the wonderful food!

Brilliant wedding day
Venue-wise, upon seeing the photos of the chapel, we knew this would be the perfect place to celebrate our most special day, together with our closest families and friends. Actually, the photos don’t really do enough justice to the stunning beauty of both the indoor structure and outdoor surroundings.
My partner and I, as well as our guests, were blown away by the place, it made the day beyond special. So, thank you, Dariana and the team (as well as the owner whom we met during our food tasting) for going beyond the extra mile to ensure our big day would certainly be the best day of our lives.

Dariana was great to work with and helped us achieve our vision. She went above and beyond leading up and was great on the day making sure everything went to plan.
Nothing was too much for her and loved all our ideas for our big day. I arrived in a horse and carriage and we had our strongman friends as our flower dudes!

An amazing team and stunning venue
We first met D in January and five short months later we were getting married. We had a vision of making the grand hall venue feel really intimate, by adding hundreds of lanterns. The venue were incredibly accommodating and helped us our vision to life - with spectacular results. This attitude was consistent throughout. If we could dream it, she'd help us make it happen.
During the run-up to the big day, we were invited to a special evening at the West Rocks hotel to taste the food we'd selected. The chef came to our table during dinner to find out how everything had been and to ask whether there was anything to change - the food was absolutely delicious and it was refreshing to meet a team that cared so passionately about getting it right.
The big day went without a hitch (or, at least, none that we were made aware of). The weather was glorious and we took photos in the park next door with the venue as the backdrop. Everything ran exactly to plan.
The food! Gosh. When you're feeding 50+ people, chicken dishes can often leave the kitchen over cooked and dry - but in this case, everyone was remarking how tender it was. Normally I would have had the chicken too, but the vegetarian options were so tasty that I had to have them both.
We had such a great evening. The band we hired, Joel White and the Diamond Experience, worked within the constraints of the noise limiter and, thanks to the great acoustics, it certainly felt loud enough (everyone was up and dancing).
By the end of the night, everyone was leaving with a smile on their face. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you All Saints team.
