From the moment, I viewed The Claverton I knew it was the right one. Kerry was great with communication throughout the planning process. He listened to everything we wanted and made sure we got it. The night before the wedding I stayed in the family suite it was spotless and the beds were so comfy. My family stayed in the other rooms and they thought the same. On the morning of the wedding. We were brought pastries, jam, and fresh fruit juice, which was lovely. The hotel looked absolutely stunning. We chose the sit down barbeque for our wedding breakfast, and everyone said to me how great the food was, in the evening we had freshly made pizzas and buffet which was also so tasty. All of the staff were very attentive and an absolute credit to the Claverton, the only complaint I have was the day went so quickly, Thank you to everyone at The Claverton for making such an important day so perfect.

We got married at the Claverton Hotel back in July, our original wedding venue had let us down and the Claverton very kindly had our date available and did everything they could to accommodate us. From start to finish Kerry was very helpful and was able to cater to all of our needs, communication was also very swift and all questions were answered prior to the big day.
The day itself was so special and the venue and grounds at the hotel are absolutely stunning, we also loved how the hotel was exclusively ours making the day feel more intimate. We would like to thank Joe for ensuring the day ran smoothly and two bar staff in particular (Toby and Jess) who stayed on shift later so us and our guests staying at the hotel could continue to enjoy our evening. I would definitely recommend this as a venue to have your wedding, as the whole day feels so personal and we were even able to have our family dog as part of our ceremony and drinks reception which was so lovely.

Despite all of this we do have a few niggles that we would like to address and feel there are certain areas that could be improved on. Firstly, we were promised a high standard of food including a deluxe BBQ during our evening reception, we feel that this was not delivered and was not worth the value for money. During our drinks reception a couple of the staff were serving canapés and one of my guests asked what they were, the staff member was unable to tell us what was in the canapés which was not great considering we had a few guests with allergies. Regarding our three course wedding breakfast, one of our main courses was chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella, however the chicken was served without mozzarella and was extremely dry which a lot of our guests did comment on and asked for sauces to go with it. We then raised this issue the next morning and were told the chicken was stuffed but with the wrong cheese, which was definitely not the case. During our evening reception we feel that the deluxe BBQ also did not deliver, there wasn’t much of a selection for guests with allergies including myself who is a vegetarian, I had asked for some halloumi and veggie sides to be served but these were nowhere to be seen. We also had some of our guests comment on the chicken at the BBQ being slightly pink/undercooked in the middle. Another issue we wanted to raise was our wedding music/playlists and the ceremony itself, I was told to send all of my music over to the Claverton and was under the impression that there would be speakers to play our choice of music during our ceremony and drinks reception. Unfortunately this was not the case and instead we had to instruct one of our groomsmen to play our music last minute on a very small Bluetooth speaker and my bridesmaids had to walk back down the aisle a second time. I then had to mention quite a few times to the staff during the wedding breakfast/evening reception that there was music I wanted playing, which eventually was rectified. I feel the hotel could improve by having a couple of wedding coordinators to ensure the smooth running of the day and that this should also include a brief run through of the ceremony so that the bridal party know what is expected of them. I feel communication on the day itself was lacking and these issues could have been cleared up.
All in all we still had the most memorable day that we will cherish for a lifetime, our guests also loved the venue and the open space/bar area.

We got married at the Claverton Hotel in July and honestly had the most amazing day! The venue is absolutely beautiful, the gardens were perfect for photos and the whole place has such a lovely, relaxed feel to it.

Kerry was so helpful in the lead-up to the big day, always happy to answer questions and made the whole planning process feel so much easier. On the day, Joe and the rest of the team were just brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and everything ran so smoothly thanks to them.

All of our guests commented on how gorgeous the venue was and how well looked after they felt. We’re so glad we chose Claverton, it was the perfect setting for our wedding and we can’t thank the team enough for making it so special!

We got married in Feb 2023 and chose The Claverton as our venue. It's a beautiful place and ideal for a wedding. There is a lovely reception room where we had the welcome drinks, the ceremony room was perfect for our small ceremony and the function room was perfect for our large evening party. We hired the place out completely so had all the bedrooms too for our family and they were just lovely. The staff were amazing and Carran continuously went the extra mile for us from the first meeting until after the big day. I would highly recommend The Claverton.

We got married at Claverton on Saturday and had the most amazing day! Nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. Carran, Kerry and the team worked tirelessly to make our day perfect both before and during the event. It’s a beautiful setting for a wedding with lovely gardens for the ceremony and pictures. And the function room and outside bar area were perfect for the reception. Cannot recommend highly enough…….. now just want to do it all again ♥️

Owner and staff were amazing and the ceremony in the garden was wonderful on the lovely pagoda and the garden with all it's spring flowers was stunning.

We were married at the Claverton House Hotel in December 2021.

Kerry at the Claverton was lovely and so helpful to us as a couple. We met with him just after we got engaged last May and he talked us through many aspects of the venue and what they could offer us.

We fell in love with the Claverton and knew it was just right for us as we were only going to have a very small number of guests, and that was no problem for Kerry.
We were given a quote for exactly what we wanted and so we booked the venue the same day.

We met with Kerry a few times over the course of last year on the lead up to our wedding in December and we were always given the time needed to discuss what we wanted. He was always organised and kept a folder of our requests.

It was a very lovely surprise for us that our wedding package with the Claverton also came with the most loveliest of Toastmaster's, Paul Mitchell. He was such an amazing addition to our wedding day, and we highly recommend Paul. Having a Toastmaster on your wedding day to help with the general overseeing of the day is a must!

We were allowed to decorate our ceremony room the night before the wedding, and Kerry had made sure his staff had already put out the chairs for us to decorate. There was the option to have our ceremony outside in the pagoda but as we were having a winter wedding we didn't want our guests to get cold. It is a lovely option for couples to have their ceremony there in a spring/summer setting though!

The landscaped gardens are beautiful and there are so many places for beautiful photo opportunities with each other. This was one of the things we loved most about the Claverton.

Me as the bride, my mum, my sister and her children who were my bridesmaids and flower girl, all stayed in the family room at the Claverton the night before so we could all be there to get ready in the morning. This was most lovely, and we all had breakfast together the morning of the wedding before we began to get ready. The breakfasts at the Claverton are also top notch!

The wedding breakfast was lovely and all of our guests raved about the food - there are 3 menu options that you are able to chose, form Rustic, Classic, to Deluxe. We went for Classic and and had 3 choices per menu section. Gluten free and vegan options were also no problem.

The buffet Kerry's chef prepared for our guests that evening was amazing, there was so much food I'm sure it didn't all get eaten but it was very delicious.

Overall our wedding day was wonderful, and an experience us and our guests will never forget. Thank you Kerry, and all your staff at the Claverton for making our special day so wonderful.

The staff at the Claverton Hotel made our day so special, they couldn't have done more for us. Kerry was so helpful while we were arranging our day and had lots of great suggestions and so accommodating of our needs.

Stayed here recently for a family wedding and I have to say it was exceptional. The owners and staff could not do enough for us. Our every need was catered for. The food was very from the evening meal on arrival through to breakfast either side of the wedding. Very highly recommended.

We booked claverton for our wedding, this is an outstanding hotel in such a beautiful setting. We fell in love with it on our first visit. All family and friends were staying at the hotel and everyone was checked in quickly and the reception staff were so helpful and friendly. The rooms are in keeping with the hotel, very clean and spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. We ate here twice for breakfast, there is plenty of variety with something for everyone, the fruit selection was amazing. Dinner for our family of 15 the eve before the wedding, food was gorgeous and again service was excellent. You cannot fault this hotel on the level of service you get, everyone is so helpful and go the extra mile. Our wedding was the most perfect day thanks to all the staff who I can honestly say worked so hard all weekend to make sure that everything ran like clockwork. The wedding breakfast was of a high quality, everyone really enjoyed the food. A huge thank you to all the staff and again I have to say everyone was amazing. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and hope to return next year for our first wedding anniversary

we stayed here as we had a wedding in the area, hotel was amazing we had a family suite and the beds were really comfortable, we ate in the restaurant on the 1st night we stayed and the waitress we had was excellent nothing was too much trouble, food was extremely tasty and portions were plentiful.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly Hotel itself was clean we as a family would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had our wedding held in this beautiful and stunning hotel. We spent the full weekend here with our family and friends and had the most amazing stay and time in this hotel.
Throughout our wedding the staff we absolutely fabulous and they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. We were so overwhelmed with how they made our special day perfect and a one we will never forget.
