We are beyond grateful for the impeccable organisation and execution of our wedding day. It was truly the best day of our lives, and for a great deal of our guests too. It was seamless to plan, from start to finish, and that couldn’t have been done without your assistance and support. There were so many thoughtful adjustments, too many to list, but the guests were so complimentary of the team and the food. A particular note goes to the chef, who made my aunt that has recently become lactose intolerant, a delicious and accommodating dessert. She was beyond happy! We had the most exceptional day, everything was better than we ever could have imagined. A huge shoutout to bartender Sam, who relentlessly made our signature cocktails!!! We extend our thanks to every single person involved in our wedding day, and thank you all for your roles in the best day of our lives.

We would just like to say a huge thank you to Kerry and the team for helping us create a perfect wedding in a beautiful location. We hired the whole hotel for the Saturday and Sunday and the entire experience, start to finish was simply amazing. We were made to feel like VIP’s from the moment we arrived, no detail was overlooked and our guests were all made to feel very special. The location, service and especially the food were incredible, Kerry and the team, thank you for a very special wedding.

We had an amazing experience with the Stonehouse, from the initial visit to correspondence, we felt supported the whole way. Zoe was so helpful and responsive and also liaised with all the vendors to ensure that everything was in place before the day. The staff and Zoe and Tom were so kind and attentive on the day itself and really made the reception feel personal and tailored. Obviously the venue is beautiful but the recent addition of the outdoor tables was perfect as it meant the guests could enjoy indoors and out. We loved our day and are so glad we found th Stonehouse, we’re so grateful to Zoe and all the friendly staff who really made the day feel very special. Thank you!

We knew we wanted to book Pilgrims Rest the moment we saw it. The history, the setting, the size, the location in Battle, it had everything we were looking for in a wedding venue. What we didn’t realise when we booked was that the team running it would turn out to be every bit as special as the building itself. Waverley and Amy are genuinely incredible. From the planning stages right through to the day itself, nothing was ever too much trouble. Waverley made the day run beautifully. Every question we threw at her in the lead up was answered patiently and thoughtfully, and she worked through the aisle timings with us in detail to make sure everything flowed exactly as we’d imagined. On the day itself it all ran like clockwork, which is a testament to the prep she’d put in beforehand. Amy made the evening run brilliantly, and went above and beyond by helping Charlotte with her dress at a moment when it really mattered. That kind of personal touch is something you simply can’t put a price on. Between them, they helped us bring our vision to life and gave us a day we’ll never forget. If you’re considering Pilgrims Rest, you’re not just booking a stunning venue. You’re booking a team who genuinely care about making your day everything you’ve dreamed of. The day was perfect, you absolutely smashed it. Multiple guests said it was genuinely the best wedding they've ever been to and said it was so special and different. We got lots of comments from guests about how great and lovely you guys were too (my friend Laura was super grateful to Georgie for the help getting a cab and the glass of prosecco while she waited!!). All our suppliers were absolutely in love, I'm sure you'll be getting lots of new enquiries based on their recommendations! You love the space and love to see people having fun and it really shows.
