The hotel has three licenced, private function rooms to accommodate your event: the Dome Ballroom, SMWS and  Ruinart. The impressive Dome Ballroom is a large, airy space, adorned with an exquisite wineglass chandelier as a centrepiece. The room is the ideal setting for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception. For smaller, more intimate ceremonies and receptions, Ruinart is full of beautiful bespoke artwork and adjoins to the bistro, and SMWS is newly decorated by farrow and ball with direct access to the outside courtyard.

We can create wedding with delicious, relaxed, French-bistro inspired dishes. Whether you want a five-course wedding breakfast or an informal buffet, we offer a fantastic choice for a bespoke dining experience.

The venue is also available for exclusive use. The hotel acts as a blank canvas on which you can create your perfect wedding. You and your guests can enjoy a private celebration, enjoying the full attention of our wonderful team. Dear Andrea, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the team at the HdV Brighton for a superb effort on Saturday, hosting our wedding celebration. It was a thoroughly painless experience, made so by the professional and caring team that you have in the hotel. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful throughout, offering up assistance without needing to be asked, and doing so with a smile on their faces. The canapes were delicious and plentiful, and the buffet was very well received indeed – lots of positive comments from our guests. The bar staff were incredibly helpful, on several occasions really going out of their way to serve. And of course, you were fantastic too – it was great to have you around all day for those little things that need someone to help with. You were a huge help and we both thank you for everything. I think it should also be said that there were a large number of guests who were impressed with both the venue and the service. Also, the rooms were great – ours was particularly lovely. All in all we had a completely memorable weekend, and the HdV played no small part in that – so thank you!

We held our wedding over the August bank holiday last year. We had the most fantastic day - the staff were amazing as was the food (lots of our guests said how good the food was). Everything went perfect. We had the ceremony in the dome which has an amazing ceiling! The location is great as your guests can go to the beach during any 'gaps' and if the weather is nice you can go there and get some lovely photos, like on the carousel! If I were to do it all over again I'd still have it here. I can't praise everyone enough.

Chris and I had our wedding at the Brighton Hotel du Vin over Easter weekend and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The service, food and drink was excellent. The venue is perfect for an event like this with various areas including the gallery, Dome Room, pub and courtyards for our sole use. The marriage ceremony and wedding breakfast was in the Dome Room which is a stunning room with a glass dome and a huge chandelier made of wine glasses! They have a wedding planner at hand to help organise everything in the run up and on the day. They provide candelabra, menus, table plans and name cards meaning that there is no setting up work (or charge!). They are also really flexible so you can design your day as you want it. It's very affordable for such a lovely venue and we planned a wedding for 80 people in just 3 months! It was the perfect day :)

We wanted an informal but special feel for our small wedding, which is exactly what we got. The SMWS room was the ideal size for our party, and as the sun shone we even got to enjoy bubbles on the terrace! Bev had all the arrangements under control so I didn't have to worry about a thing, and our wonderful waitress really looked after all of our guests with fabulous food and wine. In fact Matt and the whole team made us feel special from the moment we arrived. Thank you all so much for making our wedding day perfect.

I and my husband Liam were married at the HDV Brighton on the 1st May and like someone else who has recently submitted a review we had to bring forward our day so a close member of the family would be well enough to attend. We literally walked into the venue two weeks before and asked for any date available! And for those who spend years planning their big day we are proof that with a bit of help from Bev and the team at HDV a wedding for 45 day guests and a further 30 evening guests can all be organised perfectly in two weeks! Bev was brilliant and from the minute we were introduced we knew we were being taken care of. She was attentive when showing us around and we were impressed with her honesty and expert knowledge when we pitched forward some of our ideas. On the day itself both Bev and Lilly were on hand to help. They took charge when we looked a bit lost and confused and made sure everything ran to order. Lilly was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish she worked extremely hard to make sure everyone had the right food and drink and we even got her dancing to grease lightening in the evening and she has some serious moves!! We loved her and she is a real asset to the team at HDV Overall we had the best day, beautiful venue, top notch food (most divine creme brulee and evening buffet) and wonderfully brought together by the team at HDV.

I had planned to get married at the Hotel Du vin in Brighton in September. 150 guests and 300 in the evening. Sadly my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer in February. I decided to cancel and focus on my mums care, but when my brother came over from Australia I decided to bring the whole thing forward with just close friends and family. With the support and advice of Bev the wonderful wedding planner at the Hotel I managed to pull off the whole planning in 10 days!!!! She advised me on the planning, menu, the booking of the rooms to accommodate my poorly mum and the ceremony. Everything went exactly to plan, the advice Bev gave us on the wine package was precise and was just enough. The advice on the menu was perfect. The food was perfect! We had a three course menu. Everyone commented on how tasty, hot and well presented the food was. The service in the Dome room was second to none, Lilly was brilliant nothing was too much, she set the room up with my decorations and it looked perfect, she lit candles and dressed to room to perfection, nothing was too much for her. She served food and drinks to my guest with class. Bev was hand throughout the day to help out, she even queued the music for me to walk down the isle. Although the day was planned in 10 days, you would never have known on the day, the professionalism of the staff was second to none and I couldn’t have been happier with the way it turned out. Our photographs on the beach and promenade are stunning. It was My perfect Day.

We had a relatively brief engagement of 7 months, and as a consequence it was really important for us to find a venue that was supportive, organised and professional. Hotel Du Vin were incredibly flexible with all our little wedding foibles, and fantastically organised. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were confident the finer details were in safe hands. Everything went effortlessly, and all our guests commented that it was a phenomenal venue. We fancied something a little different to the norm, and Hotel Du Vin fit the bill perfectly. The catering was the best food i've tasted at a wedding, and i'm not just saying that! We treated ourselves to a night at the hotel afterwards and it was completely worth it - the beds are incredible and we were provided champagne on the house! These little touches are what made our venue so special. Thank you so much!
