The most wonderful wedding day.
Thank you so much to Horsted Place for hosting our wedding. Service was friendly, kind, professional and we had a great day. Special thanks to Sharron who was brilliant throughout from first show around all the way through to the day. Claire & Steve's Wedding - 18th January 2025
After 26 year together we decided to get married. We had arranged to get married at Eastbourne Registry office and have our wedding breakfast at the Powdermill Hotel in Battle. Unfortunately they had to cancel as they had to shut down for refurbishment and recommended Horsted Place Hotel as an alternative venue. Our wedding was to be a small family affair with only 13 guests and Horsted Place managed to accommodate us on our requested date. We cannot fault the service we received, from initial contact, to the day itself. Everything ran very smoothly indeed. The wedding breakfast was fantastic with our guests commenting on how lovely the food was, the presentation, the service and the venue. Everybody enjoyed the day, especially us. Thank you for putting in the effort to making our day very special indeed. We would certainly recommend Horsted Place Hotel as a venue for your wedding. Claire & Steve

The perfect bespoke experience
We were so thrilled we chose Horsted Place as our wedding venue. Right from the beginning, the dedicated events co-ordinator was extremely helpful and professional. We had an intimate and non-traditional wedding, but Horsted Place were incredibly relaxed and flexible, catering to all our needs perfectly, including some complicated dietary requirements. The venue itself is beautiful, a lovely romantic place to marry, and we felt extremely well looked after on the day, with lots of extra little touches to make us feel special. The food is wonderful - all our guests complimented it, along with the venue. Staff on the day were fantastic and went above and beyond to look after us. It was also made very easy and convenient for our external suppliers. All in all, we would thoroughly recommend this incredible venue for an unforgettable celebration.

Wedding day
We just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at Horsted - Sharon for helping with all the pre preparations and for Sam our wedding coordinator on the day for making it so special! Beautiful location and fantastic service for our wedding
Horsted Place was an absolutely dream wedding venue. The event team has been so supportive and helpful from the planning stage to the day, Sharron especially giving us very helpful advice and suggestions, and answering every single one of our questions throughout various stages of planning with such efficiency and ease. Food and drinks were all amazing. LOVED the bridal suite. There were other guests around on our wedding day (venue exclusivity wasn't a priority to us), but with the garden room tucked away it felt exclusive. Can't imagine a better place to mark the beginning of our marriage!

Thank you for the most special day
We knew this was where we wanted to get married as Horsted Place holds special memories of times spent here with close family in the past, and we’re delighted to say it was an excellent choice.
The perfect venue for our small group of family and closest friends to celebrate our anniversary, and with an intimate wedding ceremony as a surprise for our guests.
A huge thank you to the whole team at Horsted Place for looking after us so well on our special day and creating a truly memorable experience. Sharron did an amazing job of coordinating the plans for our weekend and was helpful and accommodating throughout the process, ensuring our surprise remained under wraps. Sam looked after us on the day and worked tirelessly with her team - nothing was too much trouble.
We received so many compliments from our guests who were all blown away by the beautiful venue and the efficiency of the friendly staff. The quality of the food served at the breakfast meal was delicious and well-presented and again received many compliments. From Head Chef, our waiting team, to front of house, the whole team were amazing, and a special mention for Harvey our star bartender and mixologist!
The bridal suite was very spacious and elegantly furnished, with gorgeous views. Without exception our guests were all really impressed with their rooms too.
We can't wait to return and are already planning our next visit! Horsted Place is a lovely setting to choose for a wedding celebration and we highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere with a genuine personal touch, impressive surroundings and excellent service.

Perfect wedding at a fantastic venue
We had a small, intimate civil wedding with close family and friends. Everything was perfect. The venue itself is a stunning historic building, the food and drinks were wonderful, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Fantastic wedding venue
We had the perfect wedding day at Horsted Place in September. From the moment we first visited last year, we knew we loved the venue. It is gorgeous inside and out, with plenty of space to use throughout the day and multiple beautiful backdrops for wedding photos. From the beginning, our event manager Sharron was there to answer our questions and help bring our visions to life. We were able to discuss all of our ideas and she helped make them a reality, from ensuring no cars were parked at the front of the venue to giving us access to our reception room the night before so that we could set up the tables. We were particularly impressed by the venue's value for money; having looked at many venues in the early stages of planning, there were no others that came to close to the affordability of Horsted Place, considering the fee paid included venue hire, food and our room for the night. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and I was blown away by how lovely our room was, with the views out of the windows and the amount of space. The event rooms were the perfect size for what we needed; we opted to use the restaurant as our tea, coffee and cake room and the garden room for both our wedding breakfast and evening reception. The food provided during the wedding breakfast was very tasty and beautifully presented - you can really tell that a lot of thought and effort goes into the food to create a high end experience. It was also lovely to visit the venue before the day for our wedding menu tasting, which is also included in the wedding package. The turnaround of the garden room after the meal was smooth and guests were able to make use of the lovely outside area whilst this was happening. We love the versatility of this venue and can see it being suitable for a wedding at any time of year. Choosing a wedding venue is scary, especially as it takes up such a large part of your wedding budget, but we are so grateful we found Horsted Place and have beautiful memories of our day there.

Wedding Day!!
We went to Horsted Place to look into booking a meal after our registry office wedding for a small group of friends and family and that is when the magic started to happen!!! Firstly we were made very welcome and offered drinks while we discussed what we were looking for and also given a tour of the room where it would be held and also shown the rooms where the hotel carry out weddings and hold receptions. Whilst we sat and drank our tea we decided that this was the place where we wanted to get married and have our reception. From here on the hotel told us what they were able to offer and we tailored this to suit our needs and budget and put together a package that was just what we wanted and even had the option of our guests stopping if they wanted to.
We arrived the day before our wedding and were shown to the bridal suite which is amazing, we then had a very relaxed dinner in the restaurant before retiring. On the day of the wedding the hotel and staff were amazing which ensured the day went without a hitch. The atmosphere was very relaxed but delivered an amazing service on every level especially with the food and drinks.
We had an amazing wedding at Horsted Place which we will never forget and all of our guests said how much they enjoyed it especially as we we blessed with a beautiful sunny day.

Fantastic venue for your special day!
Form start to finish, the service we received was fantastic. Sharron was amazing. Always on hand to answer any questions. Communication throughout was excellent. Sharron and the whole team, couldn’t do enough to help on the day and in the run up to our wedding. Sharron was so calm and helpful and really put us at ease on the day. Even things like the small details were thought about. If you are considering somewhere for your wedding, don’t hesitate to consider Horsted Place. The bridal suite is also to die for and you will be made to feel very special. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

Perfect venue and excellent value!
We had our reception in Lewes and then came to Horsted Place for drinks and dinner afterwards. It was the perfect spot for our drinks reception as our wedding was in March, so it was really cosy in the lounge by the fire! And we really liked that they served English sparkling wine.
The meal in the private dining room was also delicious - a great selection and really good value for money. Especially compared to other venues as soon as you mention the word ‘wedding’ - we found Horsted Place really didn’t take the mick.
My husband and I and a few friends then stayed the night and the room was beautiful! And we had an amazing breakfast with our friends in the morning. It was all just perfect!

Stunning venue and amazing team!!
Horsted Place gave us the best day we could've asked for. The venue is stunning, and Sharron and her staff made everything go so smoothly and we couldn't fault any aspect of the day. The preparations, communications and how they put us at total ease throughout were definitely appreciated. We felt really special and cannot thank everyone there enough.

Best day ever!
