This is a manor house. With lovely fields, a flower garden and other bits around including a swings etc. The room was spacious and bright with a lovely brick-patio background of well maintained flowers and field in the distance. You will find free parking onsite too. Looking to have your own caterers, not being told that you can only use the venues? Best place for you! At such a reasonable price its is a non-brainer. Also the staff are so friendly and helpful, including Alice and James. They go above and beyond for your special day and are good in keeping in touch. Nothing is too much for them. With this venue you pay by the house, not by guest and the prices are reasonable. This comes with free hire of tables, chairs and cutlery. I would highly recommend this venue.

From our initial tour, to booking this amazing venue, and enjoying our special day, The Ravenswood has been truly amazing. We first met Ellie who showed us around the grounds, and then Dawn - our amazing coordinator - took everything off our hands. There was a fab variety of food for canapés, the wedding breakfast and evening buffet, and our guests loved everything. The staff are truly amazing and everyone was so warm, friendly and inviting, which created the most amazing atmosphere. We stayed at the Rosewood Cottage the night before, which was a lovely addition. We 100% recommend this stunning venue for your special day.

The most amazing venue and staff for the perfect wedding. Not only is the venue absolutely breathtaking itself but the staff are incredibly attentive and provide 5 star quality service. Our wedding coordinator Claire was fantastic - nothing was too much trouble despite our various requests and panic emails in the lead up to the big day. Every email was responded too very quickly and professionally and we cannot thank Claire enough for her part in making our day so special. Also, the catering staff and master of ceremonies on the day were fantastic and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests were blown away by the day. Would 100% recommend Ashdown Park for a stress-free and special wedding experience.

The venue was absolutely amazing! The outside wedding area was stunning and the barn is beautiful. It’s great having all the different spaces, with everything you could need — including a big stretch tent outside. Having the whole place for the entire weekend made it even more special, and our friends loved the camping. It turned the whole weekend into one extra special celebration. The afterparty room was such a brilliant touch too! The team were lovely and really relaxed. The only thing to keep in mind is that you do need to handle the setup and clean-up yourself — it worked perfectly for us and was a great opportunity to make it personal and style it how we wanted, but you’ll want to be prepared and have plenty of helpers! Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding and wouldn’t have changed a thing. Highly recommend!
