This is a manor house. With lovely fields, a flower garden and other bits around including a swings etc. The room was spacious and bright with a lovely brick-patio background of well maintained flowers and field in the distance. You will find free parking onsite too. Looking to have your own caterers, not being told that you can only use the venues? Best place for you! At such a reasonable price its is a non-brainer. Also the staff are so friendly and helpful, including Alice and James. They go above and beyond for your special day and are good in keeping in touch. Nothing is too much for them. With this venue you pay by the house, not by guest and the prices are reasonable. This comes with free hire of tables, chairs and cutlery. I would highly recommend this venue.

I honestly don’t think words will ever do justice to how much The Ravenswood means to me. 🤍 From the moment we chose this venue, I knew it was going to be special, but I never imagined just how much it would come to mean to us. Our wedding day was everything we had ever dreamed of and more and so much of that was thanks to the incredible venue and the people behind it. The Ravenswood is truly beautiful, but what makes it so special is that it is so much more than just a wedding venue. It is a place filled with love, happiness and memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Walking into the venue on our wedding day and seeing everything come together was a feeling I will never be able to put into words. It was magical, emotional and everything I had ever hoped for. I also have to mention Georgia, our incredible wedding coordinator, who deserves the biggest thank you. ❤️ Georgia, I genuinely cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us. Having someone who cared so much about our day and helped bring everything together meant more to me than you will ever know. You made the whole experience feel so special and knowing you were there to support us made such a difference. It takes a truly special person to play such an important part in one of the biggest days of someone’s life and we will always be grateful that we had you. You will forever be part of our wedding memories and I honestly cannot imagine our day without you. The whole team were incredible and helped make our day everything we had dreamed of. The care, attention and effort that went into making our wedding so special will never be forgotten. It is difficult to explain how a place can hold so many memories and mean so much to you. We chose The Ravenswood as the place to get married but we left with memories that will stay with us forever. Every time I think about our wedding day, I will think of this beautiful place and everything it gave us. I genuinely wish I could go back and do it all over again. If I could choose our wedding venue a thousand times, I would choose The Ravenswood every single time, without hesitation. Thank you for giving us the most incredible day of our lives and a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts. I will forever be grateful that we got to begin our married life there. Our wedding coordinator Claire was fantastic - nothing was too much trouble despite our various requests and panic emails in the lead up to the big day. Every email was responded too very quickly and professionally and we cannot thank Claire enough for her part in making our day so special. Also, the catering staff and master of ceremonies on the day were fantastic and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests were blown away by the day. Would 100% recommend Ashdown Park for a stress-free and special wedding experience.

The venue was absolutely amazing! The outside wedding area was stunning and the barn is beautiful. It’s great having all the different spaces, with everything you could need — including a big stretch tent outside. Having the whole place for the entire weekend made it even more special, and our friends loved the camping. It turned the whole weekend into one extra special celebration. The afterparty room was such a brilliant touch too! The team were lovely and really relaxed. The only thing to keep in mind is that you do need to handle the setup and clean-up yourself — it worked perfectly for us and was a great opportunity to make it personal and style it how we wanted, but you’ll want to be prepared and have plenty of helpers! Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding and wouldn’t have changed a thing. Highly recommend!
