We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Roebuck Inn in Wych Cross. Everybody at the hotel was excellent, the day was everything we could have wished for. The staff went above and beyond to make our day special the food and service were brilliant. Thank you so much.

The first time we walked into The Roebuck, we were greeted by happy, open, attentive staff that instantly made us feel comfortable and welcome. Nothing was a problem for them, Nick the manager, was more than happy to negotiate and accommodate our requirements; from helping with a disabled relative, to changing the menu for a friend with specialist dietry needs. The whole day was relaxed, the food was outstanding, the service was fantastic and we couldn't have asked for anything better.

We had our Wedding reception at the Roebuck in June 2014 and it was a brilliant experience. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special and the day went without a hitch. I was able to get in the day before and decorate it the exact way I wanted it. The food and service was lovely and no one knew how little we had spent.

Attended a wedding

Oh where to start ... firstly we arrived after the ceremony and was offered a Buck’s Fizz my niece and I don’t drink so I asked for the non alcoholic option and was told there wasn’t one ... moving on the food was brought out and I was presented with some salad leaves and some mushrooms with some kind of sauce on them I still have no idea what it was ... then the main course was a beef roast dinner which was interesting the cauliflower and carrots were raw and the carrots were dirty the beef had been cooked within an inch of its life and was so tough there was an indentation on my finger where I was trying to cut it and the whole meal was swimming in gravy I could only eat a bit of it and my niece ate even less the waitress asked her what was wrong with the food which was intimidating also the food should be served from the left and cleared from the right yet the waiting staff were leaning over the table between us to serve the people the other side of the table desert was only ok but to be honest having a quick scan around the room there seemed to be a lot of good left oh and the horseradish sauce had a skin on it because it had been left out uncovered .... to be honest I felt sorry and embarrass for the bride and groom because they had paid for this shambles ... would hardly recommend this Venue to anyone

Our Perfect Wedding

We had our perfect wedding here. The staff couldn’t do anything more for us. Any problems or questions they were happy to accommodate. One of our guest was vegan which we were worried about but Valentina made sure our guest was well looked after. His food looked amazing and he had plenty to eat.
The weather was perfect giving lovely photo opportunities in the gardens.
All of the reccomendations for the evening entertainement and photo booth was perfect.
All of our guests commented on how lovely the venue was.
Loved how we had the whole day in one place and didn’t have to move all of our guests.
Thank you to everyone that helped make our day perfect.

Best wedding Ever!

We have an amazing day. Even the weather was great! The kids played in the garden, there was dancing, fabulous food and the Roebuck could not have been a better venue. There was a chance to chat with friends and family while still been able to dance! I would do it all over again tomorrow.
