Believe the hype you hear you hear about this place. The food, the people, the vibes: the whole experience was wonderful.

This was the first venue we toured and the only place we walked out of feeling totally elated and really able to imagine our wedding there. We had read a lot of positive reviews and seen some incredible photos, and for us it was the chance to get married in the city where we live that made this place so meaningful to us.

Old Dr Bells was also one of the only places offering what we considered genuinely competitive pricing for a whole day event on a Saturday that meant we could get married in one year rather than having to wait two.

The team at Dr Bells were so friendly and accommodating and helped us through all those roadblocks and confusions you come across when planning a wedding for the first time. We were in great hands with the whole team, who were always calm and steady and ready to support us. We want to mention Jay, Daisy and Gaby in particular for how they went above and beyond to help us realise our plans, extending even to creating a private space for some of our guests with babies to nurse, and making sure we all got home safe and dry when we struggled to get hold of taxis at the end of the night.

Also, the food was totally out of this world. We have no idea how the chef and their team managed to create food at such a high standard for almost 70 people all day but it was some of the best food we've ever had. We're big foodies and had initially had reservations that we couldn't bring in our own outside caterer, but trusted reviews we'd seen where others had mentioned how good the food is, and we're so glad we did. We worked with the team to choose seasonal menu items and it was beautifully executed. Our guests have not stopped talking about how delicious the food was and how it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding.

Thank you so much to the whole team at Dr Bells for crafting such a joyful celebration for us from start to finish and making sure that we could all just show up and party.

Dr Bells is a beautiful venue, I loved having the freedom to add my own spin on things and the team were happy to support me with my vision.

I can’t recommend this venue enough, it was the perfect setting for our special day. From the moment of booking everything was so efficient and they helped us to plan everything we wanted. The wedding stylist created the wedding of our dreams, even though it wasn’t your usual wedding style (fancy dress Halloween) nothing was out of the question! The running of the day was so smooth and the staff were very professional and helpful. 100/10!!!

We had such a lovely, relaxed and gorgeous wedding here! My wife and I are were looking for somewhere that did a lot of the difficult bits for us, and the team at Old Dr Bells were just fantastic. We had an amazing experience with Dr Bells from the first email, to the menu tasting, to the day itself. The staff are lovely, knowledgeable, and friendly. They helped us with all our weird and wonderful queries and requests and helped us feel organised and excited about the special day. Their food is amazing, venue is incredible, they were flexible and accommodating, I really can't fault them on anything.

I recently had my wedding at The Old Dr Bells’ Baths, and could not recommend them highly enough. From beginning to end, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They did everything in their power to make sure that the experience was special, that everything went smoothly, and that we felt at ease and had a memorable day. Caroline and the rest of the staff are amazing. There was constant communication before and during to make sure everything went perfectly. The venue was beautifully decorated, and the food delicious. Their pet policy also allowed our dog to be part of the day, who they helped keep happy and gave lots of care and attention! I really cannot thank them enough for their guidance, attentiveness, kindness and professionalism, all of which made our day special and entirely stress-free.

Dr Bells was a beautiful venue for our wedding reception. Ops manager, Lucy, was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she set up everything just the way we wanted it. Staff on the night were great and food was delicious! I'd definitely recommend.

The team made the planning process manageable and were so helpful. The venue is cozy and gorgeous. The food and bar options/policies were flexible and fit for purpose. We wouldn't have had such a special day anywhere else!

We chose to have our wedding at Old Dr Bell's Baths in June 2023, booking 2 years in advance. Due to staff handovers, we did deal with a few members of staff/coordinators but found them all to be lovely and such great helps. The day went by without a hitch and i want to say a big thank you to Hanane. Couldn't have asked for a nicer person to guide us through the day and we have such fond memories.

The venue is beautiful. The Food is outstanding, and the staff are all amazing. A special shout out to Hanane who really helped make the day perfect for us.

Quite simply, Dr Bells saved and made our day what it always should have been. We were always having our reception there and really looking forward to it, but when our ceremony venue cancelled on us last minute, they certainly pulled it out the bag and more. Quickly reassuring us they could do the whole thing, inviting us to wedding fairs to see what we could have and communicating so well with us the whole way through. It had been quite a stressful period up till this point and they just made all that go away.

Then the actual day itself. Not just us, but everyone remarked about how good they were! And the food....wow! We went for a buffet style to help people mingle and it was just amazing. They were so attentive throughout the day and made it so special. We just wish we'd went with them from the very start as it was so incredibly special and they made us feel so relaxed on the day.

We had our wedding day at the Old Dr Bells Baths in May 2022. We had an amazing day! We liked how the venue is so flexible on theme, with a beautiful blank canvas room that can be decorated to your own tastes. The staff were helpful and so friendly. We were also pleased with the quality of the catering. We definitely recommend this venue!

Our Wedding day at The Old Dr Bells Baths in July 2019, was without doubt, the happiest day of our lives.
We truly appreciated the staff, their enthusiasm and intuition on the day added to the joy of the occasion as we were free to simply soak up the atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble and a lot of guests commented on how lovely they all were.
The pairing of Dr Bells as a venue and Angels with Bagpipes as a caterer is a masterstroke; an exemplary menu and a superb venue both serve as an amazing foundation to any celebration and the success of our day was an outstanding example of that relationship.
Right from the outset it was apparent that the Dr Bells "ethos" was to deliver the best at fair price, without adding on the wedding premium, of which so many other venues are guilty.
All of our guests said ours was the best wedding they had been to. The unique brand of hospitality at Dr Bells, immediately made our guests feel at home. Our day was truly memorable and we owe this to the hard work of Mike and Fraser and their teams at the Old Dr Bells Baths.
