My wife and I had the wedding of our dreams at the Manchester Art Gallery. As art lovers, celebrating our most special day surrounded by breathtaking artworks and beautiful architecture felt truly extraordinary. From the very beginning, Victoria, the events manager at the Gallery, offered us unwavering support and kindness, bringing our ideas to life in ways we could not have imagined. The organisation was flawless, the staff attentive to every detail, and the decoration of the space nothing short of spectacular. We chose a 100% vegan menu, and the food was so delicious that every guest absolutely loved it. We will treasure the memory of our magical day forever and look forward to returning to the Gallery often to revisit the spaces that made it so unforgettable.

Where do we even start? We experienced the most memorable and magical day we could have ever imagined and will forever be grateful to Victoria and the whole team at the stunning Manchester Art Gallery.

The whole process - from start to finish - was just so smooth. The venue speaks for itself, but the team were flawless. Victoria was always at hand to answer any question - no matter how big, small or silly. Every anxiety and worry was put at ease. We had a number of requests which were catered for. And the food was delicious!

Our guests commented that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, which is a testament to the venue and the co-ordination of the day.

We honestly can’t put into words how perfect our wedding day was at Manchester Art Gallery, it truly exceeded all our expectations in every way. From the very first viewing with Victoria, we knew we were in safe hands. She guided us through every step of the planning process with such care and professionalism - from the menu tasting to the countless phone calls and Zoom meetings in between, absolutely nothing was too much trouble.

On the day itself, everything ran so unbelievably smoothly. It felt like such a privilege to celebrate our marriage and enjoy our wedding breakfast in such a breathtaking setting. The food, wine, and bar service were all absolutely faultless and we’ve lost count of how many guests have told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. We’ve even had people we don’t know personally (friends of friends) come up to us at other events to say they’ve heard all about it!

We really must give a very special mention to Victoria, who is an absolute credit to the gallery and such a big part of what made the day so incredible. In the lead-up to the wedding no question was too small, no worry too silly and she always left us feeling calm, reassured, and genuinely excited. On the day itself, we saw how hard she worked behind the scenes to make sure everything was perfect. Thanks to her, we were able to fully relax and enjoy every single second without a care in the world!

We feel so lucky to have chosen Manchester Art Gallery as our wedding venue, it gave us the most magical day, and memories we will treasure for a lifetime.

I cannot recommend the Art Gallery and the team there enough. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the ability to use different galleries during the day is really wonderful. From the first contact, communication from Victoria was great and she helped us plan the event and made suggestions that we wouldn't have thought of. The day itself was just perfection. Victoria and the team ensured that the whole thing was seamless. The food and drink were exceptional and everybody commented on how wonderful the hospitality team were. The uniqueness of the venue and the stunning artworks gave guests the opportunity to look around during pre-dinner drinks. Using the atrium for the evening party meant that the dancing was non stop but the adjacent little break out areas meant guests looking for a quieter time had somewhere to put their feet up and enjoy more art. It really is the perfect venue.

When we found out that we could get married in Manchester Art Gallery we knew that we didn’t need to look anywhere else. From the very first conversation with Victoria and the team we felt we were in such safe hands, and they worked so hard to make everything we wanted possible, and so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The food was some of the best I’ve ever eaten - my guests still rave about it now, months down the line! It’s an absolutely perfect venue, and I think represents incredible value for money, and if we could do our wedding day all over again we wouldn’t change a single thing!

Not sure I can write just how perfect it was in 75 characters but everything from our first meeting to our last was made easy, cool and exciting by Victoria! We had our heart set on the gallery because it’s a sentimental and beautiful building to us with perfect memories! I couldn’t have imagined how perfect it would actually be on the day. The feedback from the guests just spoke of how beautiful everything was! And best we get to go back and wander the rooms whenever we like!! Manchester Art Gallery might be the perfect wedding venue. The setting is unique - and you get to enjoy different stages of your wedding across multiple galleries and halls. The food and drink were excellent and Victoria was a brilliant wedding planner. Highly recommended.

Manchester Art Gallery is a completely stunning and truly unique venue. We could not recommend Victoria and her wonderful team highly enough. The most notable thing was how responsive and flexible they are to all questions and requests. I don't think there was a single thing we asked which wasn't accommodated. The venue itself is just gorgeous and with all the stunning artwork, you don't need much decoration. All our guests commented on what a beautiful venue it is. While of course nothing wedding-related comes 'cheap', Manchester Art Gallery really does represent good value for money and they are completely flexible to adjust the catering budget and bar requests. We had a wonderful day and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!!!

Could not have asked for a better venue and coordinator for our wedding! Victoria was our coordinator and she was great to work with and very attentive during the entire planning process. Always available to answer our questions and have calls leading up to our wedding. The day of everything was perfectly organised and ran on time, we felt no stress. We did a food tasting several months before and were able to customise some of our menu with the chef. Guests were very pleased with the food, venue, atmosphere and some said it was the best wedding they've every attended. I would highly recommend to anyone considering The Art Gallery as a wedding venue, its unique, beautiful, and they can accommodate all requests and provide suggestions if needed.

We had our ceremony and reception at Manchester Art Gallery on 10th June 2023
Debbie took care of everything, she sat with us and listened to what we had in mind, made helpful suggestions and put in place everything that needed doing which took pressure off us and we could just relax and enjoy. On the day itself Debbie was there when needed but also stayed I the background making sure everything went smoothly. The serving and bar staff were also helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and the day was perfect.
We kept things simple but I know that anything you wanted to have or happen Debbie would go above and beyond to make it happen.

My now husband and I had a wonderful time at Manchester art gallery in March.

Couldn't recommend the venue or the team at Manchester Art Gallery highly enough. The experience of using different spaces for different parts of the day was so special and guests were blown away at just how much of the Gallery you can use. Victoria is the events planner of dreams - friendly, professional, quick to respond and so open to accomodating the special touches for your day. The food that we had was great and we were able to work with the team to build a menu with them that exceeded our expectations. Everything on the day ran really smoothly and there were no problems with external suppliers for sound, lighting etc getting access.
Overall we couldnt have been happier with the day and just wish we could do it all again!
