Located in Covent Garden in West Central London, RSA House is a stunning manor venue that hosts weddings. Thanks to its central location and easy access to transport, this property boasts a convenient setting for engaged couples throughout the whole of England. This Georgian townhouse is a Grade-1 listed property and has been carefully renovated to provide modern amenities while retaining its aura of refined splendour.
Facilities and Capacity
RSA House provides a stunning backdrop to both ceremonies and receptions. Couples and their guests are sure to be delighted as they explore this spectacular property, with corridors filled with art and the aura of its rich history. The venue boasts a choice of elegant event spaces to suit the style of any couple. The Benjamin Franklin room can accommodate up to 150 guests for receptions. Boasting high ceilings embellished with a Troika chandelier, this room overlooks The Strand, providing a truly remarkable view as day turns to dusk. Couples who are hosting a larger event might prefer The Great Room, which can accommodate up to 220 people for ceremonies and 130 people for the wedding breakfast. This room is covered with incredible artwork and was the space where the celebrated Alexander Graham Bell first tested the telephone. Contemporary couples might opt to celebrate their day in The Vaults, which were once used as the building's wine cellar. This space features arched ceilings and exposed brick walls and offers a remarkable illustration of modern style in a historical setting.
Muse Bar
We're thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new cocktail bar at RSA House! This stylish and vibrant space is perfect for hosting drinks receptions, offering a chic atmosphere where guests can enjoy expertly crafted cocktails. Tucked away within the 250-year-old historic Georgian townhouse located directly behind the vibrant landmark Strand, the Muse Bar will spotlight British ingredients, sustainable agriculture, local provenance and rewilding projects with a unique collection of wild distillates. Absolutely fantastic!
The best wedding venue in London!
Absolute dream wedding venue
Sarah has been phenomenal from day 1, super organised and detailed and welcoming and has been tremendous help to me the whole process. On the day she was super involved and had everything in order, so we had nothing to worry about! She goes above and beyond the scope of the usual venue coordinator, and we felt so at ease knowing she is there for us. I can tell that she genuinely enjoyed what she does and loves wedding and is having a great time, and such a positive bubble of energy to be around - I adore her!
The venue is stunning, and the food is amazing. All our guests were happy and well fed, which was my absolute number 1 priority. There is more space than you can actually use, and they let us utilise the spare rooms for storage, for a kids room, and even room for kids to sleep. We had our ceremony in Benjamin Franklin room, wedding breakfast in Great room and party in the Vault, and each room has such a unique vibe that is hard to tell we were in the same venue!
Overall we had an absolute blast, and would like to 100% recommend the RSA, and will forever look back with fond memories.

Style, class, history - the perfect venue
But most importantly, Amanda and the team were fantastic. Through the planning process Amanda was so helpful, answering every tiny question and always taking the time to talk through ideas we had. Every interaction was pleasant, easy and she remained a calm, kind voice throughout. It truly felt like she was passionate about us having the wedding we hoped for, and every request we had was met with positivity.
The whole team were amazing on the day, every member of staff was friendly and lovely, and the service during the breakfast was second to none. Clockwork. We also received so many comments on how delicious the food was, and it truly was.
After the wedding, we had countless comments on the venue, and all our photos look striking.
The Royal Society for Arts will always be a very special place to us in the heart of an incredible city.

Brilliant wedding venue
Beautiful venue, fantastic staff, dream wedding!
The only thing to watch out for is that the linens provided as standard are quite creased - and there was no option to upgrade them, we had to pay to get different ones. Hopefully RSA change this in the future because it makes such a wonderful room (The Great Room) look a bit sloppy!
Secondly, I have to say the RSA House employees were amazing throughout. Unfortunately we don’t know most of their names but a name we do know is Amanda - who spent months helping us organise our wedding day and was there on the day itself to make sure everything ran smoothly - which it did! Everything ran to time, with minor hiccups being dealt with without fuss and the day really wasn’t stressful for us.
The catering staff on the day were brilliant, and we had multiple comments from guests (including the grouchy ones - sorry Dad) about how good the service was, how friendly and personal the servers were and we noticed this as a couple too - they weren’t remotely put out by us loitering by guests tables when they were trying to wait on them. Someone also appeared in front of us with a tray of canapés as soon as we arrived to the reception after taking photos, which was much appreciated.
When Natasha went to pick up some of our items on the following Monday morning, she was greeted by a flurry of compliments about the day, and even hugs! It’s clear that everyone involved really cares about providing a great experience in a way that you don’t see at many locations or events.
Thirdly and finally, a shout out to the chef, Darren, and his team because the food was excellent and again we had loads of compliments about it from our guests.
The only thing I would say is that the wine offered as standard in our wedding package was not very nice (in our opinion) and so we had to upgrade it, so I’d recommend that you bear that in mind when budgeting.
Overall, we couldn’t recommend RSA House any more as a beautiful venue for your special day that will wow your guests.

Elegant, Stylish Central London Venue!
We had a lot of ideas of what we didn't want in a venue (read: fussy!) but knew RSA was the one for us as soon as we saw it. The fact that there were distinct spaces for different elements of the day was a huge selling point and the exposed brick, intimate yet party-style feel of the Vaults was the real clincher! A side note probably worth mentioning- you get exclusive hire of RSA so no risk of other guests from different weddings wandering in.
Both at our tasting and on the day, the food was very good, we got a lot of compliments on our chicken main in particular. Catering for 90 odd guests with different dietary requirements is never easy but the RSA team run a slick operation.
Our main contact, Silvia Casetti, was an absolute dream to work with, super-responsive, efficient, kind and fun! Silvia even decided to repurpose some mantelpiece flowers that we had in the drinks reception for the Vaults, arranging it all so beautifully that it was such a lovely surprise when we saw it - the sign of a true professional! She was fab at dealing with not only us but my dad too, helping him surprise us during his speech with a slide show of embarrassing photos!
