When we came to visit Wotton House we knew this would be the perfect place to have our wedding!

Chris and I had the most amazing wedding day at Wotton House on Saturday. Hanna, Tracey, Edward, Tim and all the staff were exceptional and made our day run so smoothly. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better day.

The wedding events team were supportive, responsive and assisted with all our needs. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Thank you so much Wotton House. We now have memories to last a lifetime!

Wotton House was everything we’d hope it would be and more for a wedding venue.
As soon as we saw Wotton House at their wedding open day we knew it was the perfect place for us to get married. The grounds are beautiful and the whole venue itself is charming and full of character.
Jodie our wedding co-ordinator was fantastic and helped make planning our wedding stress free and was always on hand to help us and a pleasure to work with.
On the day of the wedding the whole team were amazing and everything went according to plan. Special shoutout to Tracey and Bill (toastmaster) for co-ordinating the day exceptionally.
The wedding breakfast was also brilliant and we had many positive comments from guests on their meal and the whole smoothness of the day.
Overall we couldn’t recommend Wotton House enough, and if we could we would do it all over again and wouldn’t change a thing.

Jodie and the whole team at Wotton House were wonderful hosts for our wedding this August - we cannot thank them enough! They were flexible, helpful and responsive enough in the run up - but on the day itself they really excelled and were totally accommodating. There was a conference going on in the hotel the same days as our midweek wedding, but the Wotton House went above and beyond to make private spaces for us and our guests and always served us with a smile. Would 100% recommend, thank you Jodie and team! :)

My partner and I found Wotton House online and noticed they were having an open day for future brides and grooms. We had quite a few venues lined up, and though Wotton was on the higher end of our budget, we felt we had to see it anyway from the pictures we’d seen online.

The moment we stepped into the Old Library, we both knew this was it! And the magic you feel walking in on an open day is exactly how it felt on our actual wedding day.

Throughout the process, our wedding coordinator, Jodie, was nothing short of incredible! She was responsive and extremely understanding of the level of stress couples go through during the planning process. She listened to our needs and ensured everything we needed was recorded and went according to plan on the day. Thank you for always bringing such enthusiasm and loveliness to every call and meet we had!

The day itself was so beautiful and eventful. We packed the day with so much, from the fab getting-ready breakfasts for the bridesmaids and I, speeches with video presentation on projectors, leading hordes of guests to the right places, gathering guests for cake cutting and first dances, and so much more. Without Tracy, Bill and the team, the day would not have gone as smoothly as it did. It was like a well-oiled machine how efficient everything was! A big shoutout to Bill too for reassuring us throughout the day and reminding us that we’re never late, and that guests are on our timeline!

I saw Wotton House via instagram and after seeing photos of the Old Library and the Italian Gardens, I said to my fiancé (at the time!) "look at this place, no matter what the weather, it will be a stunning setting for our ceremony. It was the only venue we visited in person after a lot of online research and we happily went ahead and booked a Friday wedding for August 2024. We lucked out with the weather and got our dream ceremony outside.
The food was excellent. The venue handled pretty much everything, through careful planning and communication with Jodie, our coordinator. It meant on the day, us and our guests could just enjoy everything without having to send the bridal party or groomsmen on any wild errands. The toastmaster provided (Tim) was the cherry on top and made the day go as smoothly as possible.
Our room (Primula) was incredible and we loved the thoughtful touches that were gifted to us too.
It was perfect having an all singing all dancing venue, with rooms on site, a spa lots of our guests enjoyed and an excellent breakfast buffet!
Thank you so much WH team for making it a day we'd never forget.

Genuinely the best decision to get married at Wotton House. Special shout out to my assigned co-ordinator Jodie Templeman! She is a real star and the sweetest lady. She paid so much attention to detail and was very accommodating of last minute changes.

Honestly made our day special from beginning to end. Things that stood out to my husband and I (We had roughly 60 guests):

- We approached them in February 2024, to get married in July 2024 - they were very happy to work with our timings and moved quickly to ensure we got the wedding we dreamt of.
- Majority of our guests didn't drink, and they were able to accommodate this with non-alcoholic options which reduced the price per head.
- The free food tasting was a hit! We were able to design our own special menu. For example we swapped chicken breasts for chicken thighs as we find thighs more tasty. They accommodated for this at no extra cost.

If I could summarise my feedback - They genuinely listen to you and take your visions/requirements on-board! They make it work for you no matter how quirky it is. We are so glad we got married at Wotton house.

Where can I even begin to start! Wotton house is just amazing and they made our dream wedding day come true. I honestly couldn’t fault it, the entire team were amazing and the day just flowed from start to finish. We honestly cannot thank them enough. Special mention to Jodie our wedding coordinator who was absolutely the best and without her the day would not have been the same! I don’t know how she does it but she made our day absolutely perfect so thank you Jodie. Just wish we could re-live our perfect day. Thank you so much.

Me and my wife got married at Wotton House this summer and we can honestly say that it was absolutely one of the best decisions we have ever made. The house and its grounds are stunningly beautiful. Guests were amazed by how gorgeous it all was, and the pictures were a dream. The food was brilliant. The staff were amazing and helped us at every stage of the process. The day itself ran extremely smoothly, and we had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Special thank you for Jodie for all the help in the lead up to our day and Bill for helping everything run so smoothly on the day. We couldn’t recommend getting married at Wotton house enough. They made our special day even more special, and I’m sure they will do the same for you.

Brilliant venue, we had the best wedding day and the staff at Wotton house couldn't have made our day any better. The whole process from booking/ planning to the wedding day went so smoothly.
The actual venue and grounds are amazing, everything kept so clean and tidy. Room was lovely, really quiet and had everything we needed.

Beautiful venue, great grounds. It was a beautiful day and event. So much flexibility with allowing smoke flairs and the horse for the groom entrance.

The honeymoon suite complimentary was amazing and would love to come back and stay as a guest

We recently got married here in November 2023
This hotel is beautiful and the staff so attentive.
We really wanted a winter feel wedding and that’s exactly what we got.
If we could do it all again we would it was the best day of our lives.
We highly recommend the suppliers that work along side this venue. Honestly use them! They know this hotel inside and out and can offer great advice and support leading up to the big day.
We cannot wait to come back to stay to celebrate our anniversary later this year.

Wotton House was the perfect wedding venue for our special day. The stunning architecture, lush 17th century Italian gardens and elegant interiors provided a dreamy backdrop for our ceremony and reception. In particular, the Old Library where we had our ceremony was beautiful, having been decorated by Flowers By Elaine.
The staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was a success. The food and wine were outstanding. The rooms were luxurious and comfortable, providing the perfect space for our bridal party to relax and get ready. The wedding planner Ishika was exceptional, guiding us through every step of the planning process and making sure everything ran smoothly on the day. I would highly recommend Wotton House as a top-notch wedding venue.

We are so pleased we chose Wotton House for our wedding. It’s the most breathtaking venue amongst beautiful grounds. The old library is a stunning aisle to walk down. We had a December wedding and the whole venue was decorated so beautifully for the festive season, which made our winter wedding even more magical. Throughout the planning process, we worked with Samantha who was our wedding planner. She was prompt with responding to our inquiries, gave us checklists to keep us on task and gave excellent recommendations for vendors. On the day the staff were simply outstanding, they did an amazing job of setting up the ceremony and reception space with our decorations. Nothing was too much effort and everything went seamlessly. Compliments to the toast master who was superb. Our family and friends still rave about the beautiful location and the delicious food every time we see them! Thank you Wotton House for making our wedding day above & beyond perfect. Wish we could do it all again!

After our first wedding venue let us down, Wotton House came to the rescue. Exactly 365 days before our wedding we booked Wotton House and never looked back. It was the most wonderful day from start to finish, offering us and our guests an excellent venue for a real celebration and party.
From the walk around tour of the venue before booking, to the planning, the wedding weekend, and the post-celebration, Wotton House couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. Whenever I had questions about the planning they would answer promptly, helping with all aspects of the planning from supplier recommendations to room bookings.
A lot of our guests opted to stay on the Friday evening, the night before our day, and Wotton couldn't be more obliging, helping to organise a dinner for us all, which gave us a perfect start to the weekend.
The Heather Suite was the perfect getting-ready room for myself, the mother of the bride, the mother of the groom and seven bridesmaids, as well as a photographer and two hairdressers. There was so much space for us all to get ready leisurely and calmly, with Wotton supplying us with a lovely breakfast and refreshments.
The Old Library is the most beautiful ceremony room, and so many of our guests on the day and afterwards have commented on how personal and special the ceremony felt. The one piece of advice I would give future couples is to not let the ceremony be forgotten in the wedding planning; it is the reason you are planning, and the Old Library can give the most beautiful backdrop. We had a florist dress the space, however, its features are so stunning it doesn't need anything too much to wow you.
The food was incredible, with the food tasting being a wonderful date for my husband and I pre-wedding. All of our guests commented how filling and gorgeous the food was across the day, and Wotton helped with the timings of the day brilliantly to make sure no one complained of being hungry (something I've experienced at our weddings!).
We opted for the pizza buffet for our evening food and we have had excellent reviews, being the perfect drunk food for our guests late into the night. The terrace where the food was served was decorated beautifully with fairy lights and felt like the perfect outside space too cool down after the dancing the night away.
Finally, the fact that Wotton House offered amble hotel rooms for our guests was possibly the most perfect addition, with all of our guests, particularly those who may be vulnerable, having their own space to retreat, comfortably and safely.
I could go on for hours about how excellent Wotton House was as our wedding venue, and my husband and I cannot wait to return every year to celebrate our anniversary and relive the best day of our lives.

Wotton House is a stand out venue. As soon as we visited we knew it was the venue for us. It is beautiful, all our guests kept saying how beautiful the venue was or how stunning the gardens were. But the staff really elevated our experience. Even before the big day, they were easy to contact and so helpful with any questions we (or our guests who booked to stay there) had. A massive shout out to our co-ordinator Josie, who was just so lovely and thought of every single detail. The day was just perfect, we didn't have to lift a finger or think about anything and we could just enjoy the day. All the staff were professional and friendly, even though there were other events happening, we were made to feel as VIPs. We would highly recommend Wotton (especially Josie) for a wedding, only wish we could do it all again.
