Wow, what a venue! We were pleasantly surprised with how reasonable Wotton House’s winter sparkle package was compared to other venues we looked at and Wotton was by far the most impressive! Jodie was fantastic and accommodated our every need, from changes to the main meal to upgrading our room the night before the big day. All of our guests were wowed by the venue and we had so many compliments. The perfect day!

From the moment that we booked our wedding at Wotton House - we were blown away with how welcoming and lovely all the staff were. Especially our fabulous wedding planner, Jodie! The whole team couldn’t do enough for us and made the whole experience go smoothly. From the initial open day, to the menu tasting evening, to the night before the wedding, it was all absolutely perfect! All our guests thoroughly enjoyed the whole day thanks to the team at Wotton House. If we could do it all over again, we would still choose to have it here! Thank you so much!

Wotton House, what can we say except wow and thank you! What a weekend, what an amazing big day, what a place!

Let’s start with booking the venue... Right from the get go, we were drawn to Wotton, we loved the old library, the fact all our guests could stay and that there was an amazing wedding package. The wedding open day is a great way to see the venue in all its glory and meet with suppliers.

Jodie & team were brilliant, helping with any questions, extra requests and keeping us in the loop along the way. Jodie is one of the nicest, calmest and organised ladies I’ve ever met, just what you need in a wedding coordinator. We got such personalised treatment at all appointments and loved the food tasting (just wish we had stayed the evening).

The night before the wedding, we had a special meal for our closest wedding party. We had our own private area in the restaurant, wonderful waitress and delicious menu. It was the perfect way to start the weekend.

My girls and I had star treatment getting ready on the big day. We had the beautiful Evelyn suite, where we could enjoy the morning together. We had a delicious breakfast and with some unexpected bad weather, Jodie & Tracy did a few special touches to make our day inside perfect. They really have it seamlessly planned in getting you down the aisle, I’ll always be grateful to them helping me calm my nerves.

From the decor, (we had the wedding at Christmas time and wow, do Wotton know how to celebrate it - thank you Edward!) to the special attentive staff, the delicious food and all the little touches along the way… our day was perfect.

All our guests have commented on what a wonderful venue it is. Most our guests stayed and got to enjoy the facilities which they raved about when recovering their dancing feet. We even had a special area for breakfast the next morning, where all our guests got to see us off before our honeymoon departure and enjoy a full English.

Our photos have just come back, and it really was the most amazing day, offset by the most beautiful venue. We can’t wait to visit Wotton again, and are so glad we chose it for our wedding.

The first time we visited Wotton House with it's stunning gardens and the beautiful Old Library, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our special day.

Jodie, our co-ordinator was brilliant, always happy to help during the months leading up to our big day, and Tracy and Bill ensured that the day ran smoothly, and everything came together perfectly!

The wedding breakfast and the evening buffet was excellent, we had 80 day & 60 evening guests, and all our guests had only lovely things to say about the food, the venue and the service! We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!!

For the 3 days we were with them, they made everything just perfect. From the moment we arrived to breakfast on the last day, their experience, patience, and care meant that even down to the smallest detail was taken care of and nothing was too much for them. I couldn't have pictured our wedding anywhere else other than Wotton House and I can’t thank you enough for making our dream come true!

And a special thanks to Hanna, for being my sounding board throughout the whole process and even dealing with my parent’s extra surprises on the day! The signing waiters were the best!

From start to finish Wotton house were amazing. Jodie answered all my questions and explained the process to me. Wotton house was the last venue we looked at and it blew everything else out the water.
The planning that goes into the process was smooth, the menu tasting was a lovely afternoon - some advice to others - don't both drive there! Lots of wine and prosecco to taste aswell as the lovely menu.
Tracey on the day made sure it ran smoothly, nothing was too much trouble.
It really was a fantastic day at a fantastic venue.
Everyone loved the venue and those that stayed enjoyed a great breakfast too.

We couldn’t recommend Wotton House more highly—it’s the perfect wedding venue. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional, thanks to Jodie and her outstanding team. They worked tirelessly to make our day unforgettable, even handling the smallest requests and obscure questions with ease and good humour.

The venue itself is breathtaking, combining charm and character with spacious grounds and stunning interiors. It offered ample room for all our guests while maintaining a magical, intimate feel—an atmosphere truly befitting a special occasion.

Wotton House provides a list of recommended suppliers, which we found to be incredibly helpful. They were not only excellent, but were very familiar with the venue and each other, creating a seamless process. The list made us feel confident that everything would run smoothly, and it was clear they worked together like a team. We’d highly recommend considering their vetted suppliers.

For the entertainers we brought in ourselves, Jodie and her team took charge of coordination on the day, leaving us completely free to relax and enjoy the celebration.

The day itself was nothing short of unbelievable. Jodie’s team had everything under control, and we had the brilliant Bill (Wotton’s Toastmaster) looking after us and guiding us through each moment effortlessly. We didn’t have to think about where to be or what to do, we just got to enjoy the day with our guests. Being able to fully let go and trust the team made the experience all the more special.

Our guests are still mention our wedding day, and we’re endlessly grateful to Wotton House and Jodie for going above and beyond. They exceeded every expectation, delivering a day we—and our guests—will cherish forever. On several occasions, guests offered to help or check in, and we were able to assure them that the Wotton team had it all in hand—a testament to their exceptional service.

On the 09/11/2024 we had our ceremony and drinks reception in Wotton's beautiful Old Library, surrounded by the rooms marble fireplaces and vaulted ceilings, followed by our chosen three course menu and evening reception in the gorgeous Evelyn Suite.
We have had so many comments from our guests who thought the day was brilliant, that the hotel was fabulous, the food was delicious and that the staff were so lovely and accommodating, my husband and I can honestly say we have had the best day ever and couldn't recommend Wotton enough.

Wotton House was always our dream wedding venue, but the day itself surpassed even our highest expectations!

The team (with special mentions to Jodie, Edward, Tracey and Poppy) were exceptional. From walking us through each planning step during the months prior, to making us feel totally relaxed and cared for during the day, we couldn't have been in better hands.

Jodie was seamless in her meticulous planning, Tracey really guided us through the day itself, Edward greeted and treated us to lunch when we arrived the day before, and Poppy was an absolute star on the day, being supremely attentive and meaning that Chloe and I, as well as our guests, wanted for absolutely nothing.

We could try to describe how incredible each aspect of the day was, but we feel the best way to convey how brilliant Wotton House is, is to say that more than a handful of our guests declared that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to, and we think that pretty much sums it up.

From the first email until our final goodbyes, everything was amazing! If we were to do it all over again, we would always choose Wotton House.Everyone went above and beyond not only on the day but during the entire planning process and our guests said it was like a fairytale. We couldn't agree more.

And let's forget how stunning the venue is. We got married in the library and it was just breathtaking! However, a massive factor for us was also the accommodation. Every single guest who stayed the night was impressed by how lovely all the rooms were. Our only regret is not staying an extra night to enjoy it more but we promise to be back soon.

We got married at Wotton House in March 2024 - it was the most perfect day.
We knew the first time we saw the venue that it was the one for us. 2 stunning options for both an indoor or outdoor ceremony, and a beautiful breakfast room.
We had 30 people flying in from overseas and the fantastic on site accommodation was perfect to bring everyone together.
The team, especially our wedding co-ordinator Jodie, were amazing and made sure every detail was perfect so we could just enjoy our day.

We originally viewed Wotton House last October and booked for the end of Sept 2024. We loved both the inside and outside spaces and knew it would be perfect whatever the weather. Leading up to the wedding we did have a few different wedding co-ordinators, but on the day everything ran very smoothly. The food was wonderful even though we didn’t pay extra for any upgrades and we stayed in the Japonica suite which was AMAZING. The team also sorted out an area in the restaurant for all our guests for breakfast the following morning which was a nice touch. Wotton House will always be our special place, we are even going back there for afternoon tea one month on from the wedding to celebrate

Wotton House is a stand out venue. As soon as we visited we knew it was the venue for us. It is beautiful, all our guests kept saying how beautiful the venue was or how stunning the gardens were. But the staff really elevated our experience. Even before the big day, they were easy to contact and so helpful with any questions we (or our guests who booked to stay there) had. A massive shout out to our co-ordinator Josie, who was just so lovely and thought of every single detail. The day was just perfect, we didn't have to lift a finger or think about anything and we could just enjoy the day. All the staff were professional and friendly, even though there were other events happening, we were made to feel as VIPs. We would highly recommend Wotton (especially Josie) for a wedding, only wish we could do it all again.
