The Usher Gallery is one of Lincoln’s most unique wedding venues — a stately, art-filled landmark offering a beautiful and cultural setting for your ceremony. Home to an exceptional collection of artworks and sculptures, it provides an elegant backdrop for your celebration and photographs.
Facilities and Capacity:
As a premium register office, the Usher Gallery allows you to say “I do” surrounded by stunning art and architecture. Gallery One accommodates up to 80 guests and is located on the ground floor for easy access. Bookings include the ceremony room and registrars. This timeless location is bursting with culture and creativity and is a dreamlike venue to mark the start of the rest of your life.
Each booking provides a two-hour slot:
- 30 minutes for guests to arrive and be seated
- 30-minute ceremony, with your choice of music and readings
- 1 hour of photo time in the picturesque Temple Gardens
Services:
Though the gallery cannot be customised due to its active exhibitions, you’ll receive dedicated support from booking right through to your wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly. We understand the importance of personalising your occasion and offer plenty of ways you can customise your ceremony with us. The ceremony room is closed to the public during your service. Following the main event, you will be entitled to an hour of photo time in the picturesque Temple Gardens.
Please note: only artificial silk flowers are permitted to protect the artworks.

Parking at the usher for the bridal party and ample parking close by for guests.
Lovely little coffee shop at the collection next door for early arrivals.
No fresh flowers in the usher as can damage the artifacts in the ceremony room.
Pretty but simply decorated with stunning photo opertunities with views of the cathedral.
Would highly recommend if you want something a little more special than a registry office.
Beautiful venue, professionally run, and a great atmosphere.

A great venue
Just be prepared to not have fresh flowers in the gallery due to the artwork etc but you can have some to hand for when you are outside for photos.
