Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez
Jenny from the Block has now got one of the biggest blocks of ice we’ve ever seen on her finger. The Maid in Manhattan star became engaged to her partner, former baseball pro Alex Rodriguez, in March. J-Lo and A-Rod both shared a photo of the sunset proposal and ring to their Instagram pages, with Alex proudly announcing, “She said yes.”

The singer’s emerald-cut diamond ring is worth a reported $4.5million (£3.47m), although J-Lo is used to a flashy ring. In 2002, Ben Affleck proposed with a 6.1 carat pink Harry Winston diamond ring, worth $2.5million.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s engagement was first revealed accidentally by her mum, Mary Hudson. “Look who got engaged on Valentine’s Day!” she wrote on Facebook, not realising she’d just spilled the beans about their secret engagement. D’oh!

The Fireworks singer confirmed the news with a selfie on Instagram showing off her unique flower-shaped engagement ring. Katy captioned the cute picture “Full bloom”, while Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando wrote “Lifetimes”. It’s second time lucky for both of them, with Katy formerly married to comedian Russell Brand, and Orlando to model Miranda Kerr.
Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas
Former TOWIE babe Lucy Mecklenburgh and actor Ryan Thomas got engaged after two years of dating in June 2019.
Ryan popped the question while the pair dined on a veranda in the Italian resort of Positano.
Lucy shared the news with her 1.4 million Instagram followers with a beautiful photograph, which was taken just moments after the proposal. “I said YES”, she captioned the pic. Lucy then shared some close up snaps of her new ring, telling fans “I feel like I’m in a fairytale”.
The engagement came not long after Lucy was spotted liking wedding-related photographs on Instagram, sparking rumours that she was eager for her 35-year-old beau to pop the question pronto.
The pair first met when they appeared together on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls in 2017 and have been smitten ever since.

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney

Wedding bells are ringing for Oscar-winner J-Law! The Silver Linings Playbook star confirmed her engagement in February to her boyfriend of just over a year, Cooke Maroney. Jen, 28, and art dealer Cooke, 34, went public with their relationship in June 2018, but had reportedly been seeing each other since Spring 2017.

She was spotted at dinner with friends in New York in February with a massive diamond ring on her finger. Jen showed it off for the first time at the Dior show at Paris Fashion Week (above).
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger
Guardians of the Galaxy actor Chris Pratt popped the question to his girlfriend Katherine after seven months of dating. Katherine is the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger, so we can expect a star-studded guest list from both sides of this celeb couple.

Chris, 39, announced the news in January with the caption, “I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you.” Katherine, 29, wrote, “My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you.” It’s the second marriage for Chris who was formerly with actress Anna Faris, and shares son Jack with her. Anna jokingly offered to be their officiant when they announced their engagement.
